I really recomend "Would Anyone Care?" by the same band. Its immensley powerful!

Thank you for not only reacting, but sharing this. Personal issues aside, and from the fact I really needed this song right now, this is a message to the universe. This world has become so divisive and hatred spreads like a plague. This world needs messages like this. Kindness, understanding, tolerance and love and support. We sang bout it in the 60s and 70s. These lyrics broke me. 😢 There were times I needed this song. Knowing it is out there helps.
I reached out to Jake once through his job. Without knowing me, without asking for anything he listened to me, replied a couple of times and just showed how genuine and caring he is. I will forever be grateful for this music. I am by no means ok, but thanks to music like this, I can feel less alone and keep pushing on. Thank you for reacting to this, I guarantee you will enjoy much more of their music. I recommend “Would Anyone Care” and “Let it Burn”.

You need to react to more Citizen Soldier. Their music has touched so many people, me for example I have had suicidal thoughts and attempted to commit suicide, and ever since I found this band those thoughts just withered away
Jake can scream as well. But yes all of their songs are about mental health, abuse and everything along those lines. Definitely do more. All of them are good.

I’ve suffered with severe depression all my life. I tried to end my life last year.
I don’t want to appear like I’m seeking attention by posting this, but I just want to thank you for your kind and encouraging words. I really needed to hear them.
You mentioned tattoos, one of my favorite CS songs is Tattoos. Thank you for reacting to Citizen Soldier and seeing how important Jake's words are. I suggest them to reactors often trying to spread the love. All CS songs are deep, all videos show lyrics, and Jakes voice can make you cry. (He has that natural cry in his voice, like Daughtry). They have so many great songs to explore. Bedroom Ceiling seems to the one that is the most about everyman. I hear people say the songs are pro-suicide, but they are not really listening. With Bedroom Ceiling, I think everyone can personally relate it to themselves.

I have listen to this band for the last few years, my mental health was suffering in such a bad way just turning on his music would bring me back down and make me bawl. His song stronger than my storm is what my life lives by now. This band helped keep me here when all I wanted was to leave

I stumbled across Citizen Soldier about a year ago, when I was not in a great place. So many of the songs I listened to spoke to me deeply. I'm doing better but still have some bad days. I'm glad they were suggested to you and that you the community created here is so amazing and willing to help and offering support to others.
Please please react to more citizen soldier! Every one of their songs has a super deep message. Some others to start with I'd recommend are Let it Burn( the one Jake wrote in the hospital), Would anyone care, and Hallelujah

This is my first time watching one of your reaction videos I opened the app and there it was and I think you did a great job reacting to it. I am a subscriber to citizen soldiers channel and they are amazing and have helped me through some dark days in my life and as someone who also battles the demons of mental health I am grateful for them and since I have been listening to them I myself have become inspired to write lyrics for music as well.
Citizen Soldier is amazing. There are two bands I listen to whenever I need some ways to keep my head above the surface: Citizen Soldier and Linkin Park. I gotta tell you, the tears have been running down my cheeks throughout this entire video. It's the very impact this song always has on me, no matter how many times I hear it. It just hits so hard and certainly is aimed straight at my heart, as well. Wow.. I'm gonna once again need a few moments after this.

If you get to it, I'd recommend their song ICU. Fair warning though its a really heavy song, I always end up crying a bit whenever I hear it.

Citizen soldier is one of those bands that has a song for almost anything you're feeling. I struggle a lot with depression and wanting to die, but citizen soldier is the band i go to when i feel like giving up. Would anyone care by them, or im not okay? It is definitely my go-to.

Thank you for reacting to this band. On my bad days I listen to Citizen Soldier's This Is Your Sign album on repeat. They are an amazing band that needs more people aware of them. My favorite song of theirs is Stronger Than My Storm.

@@rulab thank you so much I needed that because I never took time to grieve my brothers death it’s only been a few months I used to scratch my arms with my nails but I stopped haven’t for 2 years what hurts most besides his death his having people there that say I’ll be there for you if you need me but actually not checking up on me thank for letting me know I’m not alone
