Earl Slick plays on STATION. HE uses the wang bar like no one. Saw him play Live on SNL on TVC 15. His guitar solos are ' Skickatronics ' to me ! And Bowie, one of the best songwriters in history, vocals, the best period. Hope I see you in Heaven David. Just make room for my ' 59 Telecaster...
I Saw David Bowie In Ahoy Rotterdam Holland, Just When His Album Station To Station Came Out. He Started The Show With This Song, ...Man Goose Bumps All Over My Body, Not Me Only The People Around Me Too, It Was All Love, Peace & Happiness! R.I.P. David, You Brought A Lot Of Joy In My Life, Thank You For That! ~.~
You're very lucky, I never got to go to any of his concerts, he once came to my country but I couldn't afford to go, but I imagine it must have been really exciting.
words can't describe how much I love this extended druggy masterpiece, especially the solo that sounds a lot like the late Mick Ronson. The song makes me feel as high as Bowie was when he did the song.
Songsulove Absolutely! I honestly love all of Bowie's albums, even his least creative ones from the 80's and such. I can't hate any of his music. But Station to Station is for sure one of his best!
Definitely like the album version better, always comes out as an Eagles song live. But still good. I understand the technology of the 70's didn't always lend easy transfer from studio to stage unless you dubbed and lipsynced. Many legendary concerts actually secretly were then.

One of the best intros to any song. Headphones on lay in the dark as a teenager getting lost in the music. I wisj i coild go back to those days.
