To make sure you don't connect wrong wire.
If there are 2 wire plugs or 8 individual plugs, take one plug off of old switch and put on the correct spot on new switch, and continue one by one onto new switch until done, that way you won't connect wrong spots.
Also once you get the key switch out you can then get the key out or take that part to lock smith and have new key made or use second set, then you won't have to buy a whole new switch.
i am rewiring 56 chevy with a kwik wire harness, buthave no idea what terminals the wires connect to.
umm... he specifically said he had lost key! You cant remove old tumbler without the it.
He shows removing tumbler process on the new ignition... not the keyless one. . I need to see how he got his old tumbler out without his key. It's misleading the way he presents it. Thought id found solution video for my issue. He just left that step out on his old ignition tumbler.
I big drill.... that's the only way
that's what I was afraid of. alright then...drill it is.
Did you drill yours out or? I have the same issue!
Sandy Reale and
Jerr Spud can a locksmith make a new key for the existing old tumbler?
wait...WAIT! Where does the paperclip go?!? How does the tumbler come out?? ....breezed right past that.
Can you make a video on how to get the heat switch Assembly out
