Historic Touring Car racing (Group N) in Australia has a great set of standardised regulations. However, Group N does not cater to many American models. Australian Trans-Am plugs this gap, as it is open to any 2-door, 4-seat, rear wheel drive, V8 powered American production vehicle built from 1963 to 1974. Therefore, it scoops up cars such as second-gen Camaros, 1970 Mustangs, Plymouth Cudas, AMC Javelins, Mercury Cougars and Pontiac Firebirds.
I don’t know why the ‘87 Firebird is there. If they are making it a Trans-am race because of your car selection there COULD be American cars. Idk why the 87 one is being used though. They do allow American cars in real Australian Trans-am races but it’s the historic races.
I didn’t know that, I don’t think that was the case for this race however, I think the game just bugged out and gave the AI the ability to choose the trans am for some reason. The option wasn’t available for me when I looked so I think it’s a bug.
Summary: It was primarily due to the popularity of the car in Australian motorsports, particularly in the "Australian Trans Am" racing category, which features American muscle cars from the 60s and 70s, including Trans Ams, despite the cars themselves being entirely manufactured in the United States by Pontiac, a General Motors division.
I can’t believe anyone is still playing this travesty of a game. This game is an insult to anyone who’s played an actually good forza. I still play forza motorsport 4 on my xbox 360 because it’s infinitely better even with the game being dead for a decade
@ after seeing how awful the new one was I actually went out of my way to get another 360, a copy of forza 4 with both discs, and redownloaded all of my dlc for it. Its been nostalgic
Bro physically can’t win a race because a car that shouldn’t be there at all and he should be grateful??? For game that hasn’t even been fully fixed since launch???
The Trans Am being faster than anything is kinda funny
