    What the hell? I didn't know BlazBlue was getting an action platformer?!

      it's not, they are just using the chars and move lists. Has no connection to blazblue story what so ever, there are also boss chars that are unplayable right now like arakune and well huge spoiler but you might know who the last boss is

      Well the game is good and people like the gameplay it's just that the story has nothing to do with blazblue that people don't like

      As someone who knows absolutely nothing about Blazblue (other than always seeing the name during the PlayStation 1 days) I love this game, but have no interest in going any deeper into whatever the story is… plus, all the other games are fighting games right? I don’t really like fighting games (except street fighter 2) because they’re too complicated, and I’m way too slow, and dumb to keep up with all the combos! Even in this game, I get too nervous and mash buttons like a maniac!

      @@scottbaylo don't worry though, BlazBlue games are button mash free, it's a beginner free game that you found that there's many playstyle that you can found your own. All the characters are too different if not, way different than the other that you can actually be good at

    After your last video, I've sunk quite a bit of time into bbee and some of the things I've learned is that rend damage applies to forced movement (like Mai's spear throw), the hit boxes are a little jank, and ragna is a someone I have a lot of trouble playing (I can't manage HP as a resource to save my life)

    • @WitchalokKing
      @WitchalokKing 11 місяців тому +1

      Oh, and the red boons are combo boons, there's like hades duo boons which are 2 element, or you can get a single element combo boon if you focus a tactic path.
      I haven't really figured out any strats since I'm still trying to wrap my head around all the systems

    • @PotionSmeller
      @PotionSmeller 11 місяців тому +1

      Yeah that's probably why Ragna isn't the starter character despite being the poster boy of the series. He's a bit more advanced mechanically, and the game is pretty stingy with healing at the beginning.

    Crazy is the correct description for this game. I've done about 10 runs, made it to final boss (and lost) and only understand about half of the mechanics and stuff on the screen. Its a freaking blast to play just not very well laid out.

      No top right is the corruption effect…if you go too long above 100 you get a bad corruption against you…for example, the samples explode on death, or there’s a say 30% chance they can come back to life, or they all have super armor…things like that.

    37:58 To be fair to you, it's an extremely steadily moving blue projectile from a blue character on a blue background with blue hazards. Sometimes it's hard to see projectiles that move so... moderately.
    This game seems really cool, but a lotta the enemy attacks could be adjusted. Some of them have insanely long wind-ups, some of them have barely any at all, and it feels random which is which.

    Hello. Longtime viewer, first time commenter. Haelian, if you haven't figured it out already, the little icons at the top corners of the level ups are indicators of skills you have never chosen (I'm guessing a quality of life thing to help with unlocks). I've put several hours into this game, and I have no idea how Entropy works. Do any of you know how it accumulates and what effect it has? I have a vague idea that it forces debuffs, but I don't know if you get more per stage or more if you get hit or what.

    • @ericyang7436

      TL;DR entropy only builds up for every floor you enter. Entropy higher than 100 means you have a chance to receive the debuff it shows after the exiting the floor you're on; the chance is always your entropy level minus 100 as percents.
      Entropy builds up for every floor you enter. I believe that's the only source of entropy gain. When it reaches 100 or above, the debuff shown on the top right gray has a chance to appear AFTER finishing the floor you're on and entering the next room. You'll get a message on the top/middle of the screen, saying one of two things: No Corruption Effect Gained (something like that) or the debuff that was shown earlier.
      The chance that the debuff applies to you is calculated as so: Entropy - 100 = your % chance to gain said debuff. For example, let's say I have 71 entropy and then I click the training room for the next floor. It adds some entropy on touching that; let's say it adds 30 so I have 101 entropy and the debuff on the top right said Reduced Skill Damage. This means a few things. First, the training floor does NOT have the debuff applied. Second, since entropy is greater than 100, then I now have a chance to get that debuff after said floor. It being 101 means I have a 101-100 = 1% chance to receive said debuff after clearing that training floor. Lastly, once you exit that training floor and into the next selection hall, that chance plays out, either giving you the debuff or not.
      This does mean that if your entropy is high enough, the chance of getting a debuff can be VERY high. I do believe there is also a timer on the top left of the screen during training rooms? From my experience, pushing over 200 entropy actually reduces that timer, though I myself have yet to see what happens when that timer ends. Having over 200 entropy means you get a debuff after every room, though. In addition, the only other way to accumulate a debuff would be to pick up one from the final set of levels (being vague to avoid spoilers for anyone).
      In order to reduce entropy, you either purchase the entropy reduction in Exchange rooms or enter a Rest room. I'm not sure if it reduces after killing a boss/elite sample, might have to test that later.
      Hope this helps! ✨

    Game is pretty easy. Each character can beat the game, make sure you upgrade dashing first if you can, then learn to play Ragna, and treat every character like its ragana, because you basically get the game on easy mode with Ragna. Wait until your hp is 300 or less before you start to use your health abilities. I wish they made games with this combat in side scroller games. Just really shows that these games are about nothing more than money. Because the way this game is designed would benefit literally any figure head story line in the 2d plain. Dragon ballz, naruto, tekken, power puff girls. Literally name any cartoon and it could be made into this form of combat, but we are in the copy dark souls era, so you gotta wait about 30 to 100 years lmao.

      Holy shit you read my mind. I bought this game and thought why does Blazblue get a game like this that's actually pretty good and not the stuff I'm into? Then I looked into Blazblue and decided it's cool. So what gives?

      @@lightspaceman5064 The world may never know, the blazeBlue game is really so simple, and it even does great things like allowing you to do abilities, by just pressing the ability button, then one of 4 directions, on top of having a hold down the button version of most abilities. That means that you can do a whopping 8 abilities on one button. That is a system that literally every fighting game with powers in it could benefit from. Its systems like that that need to be copied by every company. Not adding finisher move cut scenes, or trying to put your own spin on fatalities. lmao or turning assassin creed into a mmo.
