As a Colorado alum who attended back in 1990 back when we won a national title all I can say is "pinch me". Decades of sucking and now we got Coach PRIME!? This seems too good to be true. 30 years of pretending to not really care about college football and now we are back!!!

This is the comment I wanted to see! Colorado was fun to watch back in the 90's as a kid in junior high. I love my Ohio State Buckeyes but this is going to be fun to watch! Not missing any of it. Years later Colorado students will be glad they were apart of this. Very exciting!

Deion will absolutely be able to bring guys in and have CU competitive in only a few short years. People underestimate how much young people want to be part of what is now happening and attention getting, and modern. Not to mention the ties to NFL greats, coaches and media. NIL has made all of that highly important, and the smart coaches will not run from it but embrace it.
Change always comes, you can resist as hard as you want but the new always overtakes the old. In two years CU should be a 8-10 win team, after that competing for conference titles.

All these high paid commentators from the South and East keep saying how bad CU has been lately, but because it's past your bedtime when Pac 12 teams finish playing their games, you always underestimate how good the Pac 12 is and usually never rank their teams as high as they should be. The last regular season poll this year 6 team from the Pac 12 were in the top 17 spots, and four of them were from the Pac 12 south. So maybe, just maybe CU was never that bad, but overwhelmed recently by an amazingly good conference.

Agree JB24. The SEC was the worst region in terms of owning slaves, screaming at young Black students when Blacks were finally allowed to attend their colleges, and Bear Bryant had an all-white team until the USC Trojans with their Black players trucked all over Bama back in the day. The Pac12/Western States were the most vocal region to fight for players to be allowed to earn above-board NIL money, so naturally Black athletes SHOULD reward the Pac12/West region that has fought the hardest for their rights instead of the Southeast which has historically tried to repress them, until forced to accept them by the West Coast being first again fighting for their rights.

People are too soft nowadays man. Grow up, this is college, it isn't a youth football camp. If what Deion said hurt your feelings get out of the building and don't play sports. Participation trophies have ruined sports. Like Ricky Bobby said, if you aren't first, you are last. Winning is all that matters. He's the coach. As far as I know, a Coach decides who plays and who doesnt. This program is better for it. CU will have a championship level team in 3 years just watch

I guess Jackson State and HBCU’s weren’t Deion’s priority after all. Too bad. He could’ve done lot more good there than at Colorado. There’s big difference between competition at HBCU level then in FBS. I know white guys like these aren’t going to risk expressing any genuine concerns they may have in public. These days that is not permitted. But, Deion needs to prove he’s capable head coach at this level. Auburn’s concerns are completely justified. That said, best of luck to Deion at Colorado. Jackson State will greatly miss him and his celebrity.

By my math Prime has 2-3 years due to the PAC 12 dying because if CU is not winning its conference by then its going to be relegated to the MAC when the next conference aligns. I mean already PAC teams are leaving in droves and CU has been looking in the outside due to their issues. Maybe getting Prime now might help, but man you need 10 win seasons and a conference championship real quick.
