Hey just wanted to say that I went with this EXACT setup thanks to you. My muffler guy had a slightly hard time with the junk2 headers, but other than that, he did amazing. The fitment is tight but nothing rattles & I haven’t scraped at all. It’s been 2 weeks & I can’t express how much I love the sound of this car now. ZERO raspy notes, super bassy, & quiet enough to not sound like I’m trying to race everyone.
@@wiltfongdc5 I was actually just thinking about it. I wish I had a go pro for some pov. I think I’ll do what you did & just set my phone cam up & hope no one steals it while I do some pulls 😂
I am about to do this with mine. but the alpha header has been on back order since like April and still no sign of when they will be back so for now ill just keep re watching this
Not for me... They all sound the same.. The muffler resonator combo makes all the difference. I have used the DC, Skunk2, Invidia, and now the Toda... They all sound pretty much the same.. Just take the exhaust off and go open header. They all sound almost identical.
@@wiltfongdc5 duel 2 inch pipes to the back to looked like a stock duel tip can. It sounds deep. About 4 to 5 ft of duel 2 in that comes from a 3 in downpipe.
hey man, i have a bit of a confusing question. if i were to get the 65mm hks exhaust with the skunk2 header, would it sound similar to this? i’m only not sure if i want to go custom because i don’t know anyone who could weld it all up.
That setup is going to sound nice and not be too loud, however it will sound nothing like this exhaust. It will have the general sound of the header itself with a whole different tone to it, if that makes any sense
It may, but sometimes a k20 header will hit the top of the sway bar with a k24. I've seen a k24 with an alpha header in an RSX but not sure if he was running a front sway bar or not. The rest of the exhaust should fit fine though
Love this setup; this is motivation to make my new exhaust system. 💪🏼 planning to use the ultra quiet resonator instead of bottle resonator and still debating what muffler to use. Does your header hit the sway by any chance?
No. I think they fixed all the issues with the Skunk2 Alpha header. Mine fits perfect. They include the adjustable sway bar brackets but I didn't even need em
They are some T10 wedge leds I found a while back that point straight down and fit perfect in the stock RSX socket. They are very bright and I love that they point straight down. Can't remember exactly where I got em, but I would check eBay or Amazon.
Just got my custom kteller setup on and uploaded an exhaust clip to my channel if anyone is interested in how this setup sounds with stock header and intake! I can’t wait for my header to get here

Believe it or not, it actually doesn't lol. I made a separate crackle tune just to see how it would sound and the pops are way louder and constant with the other tune. The pops are natural I guess lmao
@@KillaFA5 lmao yeah, pretty sure she's running rich but haven't checked the afrs since the dyno tune. I know my tuner tunes cars hella rich cause it's safer though
