Not just a resonator, with any boxer or V type engine you want to equalize both cylinder banks with a crossover (X or H pipe), with resonators directly behind if you want duals. Makes all the difference.
As a 2GR owner... yeh. I ended up putting magnaflow 5x5x14 muffler in the center of the car and it tamed all the rasp but still let's the V6 sing. I agree they need some type of something somewhere in the system. Full straight on a nib turbo always sounds clapped
If you’re buying a luxury sports car, how bout you invest the money and install a proper exhaust system instead of straight piping the damn thing, sounds like a poser to me

cadillac, dodge, and Honda can produce by far the potentially worse sounding v6's ever depending on what type of setup the driver uses..that cadillac was probably one of the first v6's aside from other v6 chargers that sound similar or worse than 4 bangers

Most the Mercedes I have driven(never an AMG) always have the temperature needle resting above center. It is normal from my experience, I had read before that it was because of a higher accuracy in their sensors but that could be BS.
Clearly you’ve never owned a Mercedes, normal operating temps are between 80-100 Celsius. German cars are different…took me by surprise when I first bought my 2014 C-class.

the caddy is a prime example of why you always keep a resonator on a v6, doesn't matter if it's a VQ, 2GR or J series. they just rasp hella.

One thing I notice is that a lot of people drive with low tire pressures, probably the same people that drive with their high beams on all the time
Usually the tpms sensor is just dead or gone due to aftermarket rims
