Fully charge your machine before using it for the first time, connect to the charger either directly or in the docking station. Batteries can be charged on or off your machine. Where you have additional batteries, we recommend that you alternate the batteries to maintain even performance.
The blue LEDs - one on each side of the battery - will flash on and off during charging. When the battery fully charged, both LEDs will light for 5 seconds, then go out.

Was the charging cable integrated into the wall? I didn’t see the power cord coming out of the mounting bracket.

Congratulations on your new Dyson V12™ vacuum! Although it's not harmful to your machine to use it right away, for the best experience we'd recommend allowing your machine to recharge fully before using it for the first time. The intelligent control software means the battery will only ever take in enough power to fully charge itself, and to keep itself topped up - so it's safe to leave it in the dock all the time. This helps ensure it's always ready to go when you need it!
I just bought V12 Total clean & I'm happy for it. Should i charge the battery when it reach 10%? Pls tell me how to take care of battery life. Thanks.🤗
U should charge it when it runs out, and leave it charged till 100%. Otherwise if you charge it at 10% before letting it run out, it will always run out at 10% instead of 0% eventually.
