6:00 PC inputs for the prompt swap to 999 souls is 1) Do the position Soul item and prep 999 arrows or whatever 2) Drop 999 Arrows but Cancel 3) Go straight to the Options tab using Home or by clicking 4) Position the menu to Quit (so that when you hit E to confirm it asks "Do you want to Quit?" or whatever) 5) Move mouse to the Inventory tab so that both Quit and the Inventory icon are highlighted for KB and M respectively 6) Click Inventory slightly earlier than hitting E to Quit. If you succeed, you get the Quit prompt on top of the Inventory screen. Great video as always mate! One question though, do the glitches/exploits you used in the run work in the OG prepare to die edition? Edit: for consoles specifically
Believe it or not, I've never actually played PTD edition - I think all the skips work, there are ways to dupe souls/items and buff unbuffable weapons in the OG but they're different to the remastered version - for the spell swap, you can do something called tumblebuffing in PTD. Its a similar principle, but instead of falling off a ledge you do it while rolling, there are plenty of guides on it around.
@@internetstranger_ with the original DaS:PTD you can use items infinitely, you need the dragon head from down the great hollow. Dark knight sword in undead burg is unlockable kind of early and works pretty good too as an "easy mode"
Impressive dedication to a meme run. Great work as always.
I absolutely love this sarcastic British narration, your amazing voice and impeccable attitude have earned you one more sub, and hopefully many more
I've got to say it, the song that plays at min 10 is called " Bella Ciao " and it's a super comunist Italian song XD, as an Italian every time you play it it's pretty funny ahahah
Più anti fascista che comunista, almeno io la sento di più associata ai partigiani che a comunisti
this has to be my favorite video on youtube i was so interested in all the glitches and this introduced me to your channel man hope you do more videos like this 👍
Finally, the Next Big Thing™ youtuber gave us a new content. From 1.6K subs to almost 29K in the span of one video release cycle holy shit
I love how the funky leg thing at the bonfire near Quelaag made it to the remaster
Your script is so good, I love how you phrase things! Also excellent music choices : D
Do you know the name of the one in the first thirty seconds I've heard it before and can't seem to remember the name
@@memematerial8112 I’m so sorry but I do not. Sounds like jrpg music, doesn’t it?
It really does
great job mate! love your narration. you definitely deserve more subs and views
Hidden easy mode for me was havels armor + iron flesh + big ass sword.
I just go Giant Dad.
@@Slender_Man_186
Giant Dad sucks though, just pick up Combustion, buy the Bellowing Dragon Ring, and slap on Dusk's Crown. Gg, and you didn't even have to make yourself look like a Redditor in the process
@@CriminalizeObesitymy first build was just. a weapon and insanely high health and endurance
im 90% sure I didn't even level str cuz I thought it was too little damage being increased
Just discovered this video. Pure comedy as you learn something new. Gained a new subscription my guy. Keep it up.
Love these videos. It's even harder to play it like this. But it's a fun way.
If you pull of the soul dupe you may go full op build after the second Boss.
6:00 PC inputs for the prompt swap to 999 souls is
1) Do the position Soul item and prep 999 arrows or whatever
2) Drop 999 Arrows but Cancel
3) Go straight to the Options tab using Home or by clicking
4) Position the menu to Quit (so that when you hit E to confirm it asks "Do you want to Quit?" or whatever)
5) Move mouse to the Inventory tab so that both Quit and the Inventory icon are highlighted for KB and M respectively
6) Click Inventory slightly earlier than hitting E to Quit. If you succeed, you get the Quit prompt on top of the Inventory screen. If you fail, likely you just need to hit E again to cancel the Quit prompt.
7) Click the Soul item and then make sure you're hovered to Use Item. Click that.
8) Using the Arrow keys, set it to 999 and then use KB to Confirm.
Tumble buff stone sword is completely broken, but it's incredibly hard to do.
"Time for Penn and Teller" I fucking love P&T and its great to see you reference them lmao
@@BaronsCastle
Thanks, I'll look around.
Good luck with whatever is next!
@@internetstranger_ with the original DaS:PTD you can use items infinitely, you need the dragon head from down the great hollow. You roll of a ledge use an empty estus flask then trade to the soul then use fire breath and the soul will pop for every tick of fire you breath.
You'll find guides on Reddit or whatever, must of been 5 years ago I was doing it
@@Guitar-Dog
Thank you very much!
I'll make sure to try it out.
@@Guitar-Dog why not parry and quick-bar use-item? Way easier dupe and you don't need the dragon stones.
All your edits are so good man. You seriously deserve so many more subs.
That funky leg thing is so funny, remember spending 15 mins laughing at it..
Shout out to when you stand on stairs and one foot slides between 2 levels
Nothing about this seems like an easy mode. Also, that ending was absolutely inspiring. I can't offer much, but your determination deserves a like, a subscription, and way more.
This is so much easier on prepare to die since you can just roll swap to buff anywhere anytime.
Im blown away by this channels growth man. Basically overnight. Love ya vids. Keep em comin
Cool video. I like to see growth of our lovely dark souls community. Fingers cross for rumors to be truth about Bloodborne for PC and BB 2 development. ;))
I’ve just watched through all of your videos. Really good content and a great sense of humor. Looking forward to more uploads!
Fun fact!:
FromSoft actually used this build to design Mohg's "NIHIL" attack
Too bad he doesnt have the bloodbite ring.
Excellent video!! I've watched basically all your videos and I loved this one. Keep up the good work!
so glad you’re uploading again we need more
I’d recommend trying a weapon art only run for dark souls one, from what Ive seen, it’s possible with the R2 of certain weapons like the golem axe
There is actually an easy mode already in the base game from the start. It's called "sorcerer."
I really appreciate all the Atelier music you use. Don't see enough love for all the banging tunes from that series.
Absolute props for going back and killing those DLC bosses.
Play footage of my favorite game, with BGM from my second favorite game?
I'm sold.
Can't wait to see what you come up for when Elden Ring comes out

hell yes was waiting on a new vid from you
19:20 ah yes i to am a fan of the large lady’s curtains
the anor londo stair skip is so part of the architecture to me that I forgot it was a skip until you said it
Guy is criminally underrated. You’re hilarious dude keep up the good work
Great video man, loving your content!
hey man, my long term gf just broke up w me and i’m on youtube to try to distract myself. thanks for the distraction!
You're welcome! Keep your head up and dont you dare go hollow
The moment I saw you holding a buffed stone greatsword i knew exactly where this was going
This is how I beat almost all games.
The fun I get out of most games is going spreadsheet crazy and then doing a single run-through with the most optimal build I can get ahold of.
Man honestly its sad to see you only have 38k subs, you deserve alot more... Great content :)
Seems like i was right :D
38:52 Watch how soon the numbers stop ticking down. He literally dealt just barely enough damage to bring him down. Cut it closer than Greirat there.
Funny commentary. Massive Souls fan. 1000g on all 3 and the remastered DS. Can't wait for Elden Ring. You gained a fan and a new Sub.
35:52 timed PERFECTLY
i love ur narrative and humor
u got a new subscriber!
much love!
Bad way to make the game easy:
1. Rush to the artorias of the abyss dlc somehow
2. Cheese your way through the dlc and abuse a glitch that allows you to get down to the chasm of the abyss before you should
3. Get dark bead
4. Win as a games journalist
Fucking immense video, mate. What a fantastic idea for a run. Watching the bosses just get absolutely melted is so satisfying.

This is where my phone died. I’ll be back later to fini
I've never seen a more difficult ez mode in my life. Damn the game knowledge that goes into this.
Man you’re a fabulous and funny man, great work man! You make everyone’s day
You know you mention Rays video so I took a look. I actually prefer yours much more. You show HOW you pulled it off along with the cheeky commentary. You miss what an absolute pain in the ass pulling this off is with Rays video. Keep it up man, your content is top notch!
PS no disrespect to Ray or anything I just prefer this style of video more
I like the use of Radiant Historia music in this, went well with the last few minutes of the video
1. Find Stone Knight armor set (easiest to find, can upgrade later)
3. 40 VIT
2. Falshion everything. No need to dodge. No need to block. Hit R1 till ur done.
you cannot upgrade stone armour, you'd have to buy giant set for that...
I love how he does all of this and even explains that the buffs from Lightning Blade/Greater Magic Weapon come from MagAdjust, but he never grabs the Crown of Dusk, which buffs MagAdjust.
For those who wants song name during 35:52
It's called "Retro Funky (Sundance Remix)"
I really need to know how you only have 35k subs, your content is so damn good
Praise the algorithm for showing me this channel love what you've done so far
There was truly nothing like spawning into the burg or forest and being instantly TWODed by three players.
I love how I was paying so close attention to the details I even noticed where you dropped the line off SW where Palpatine asks Anakin, "Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise?" in the subtitles!
Edit: I guess what I mean is I enjoy how entertaining and easy to digest your videos are for my brain
