I just got mine yesterday and had no clue how to set it up. Thanks to your video instructions you saved me a lot of time and probably saved the live well bucket from destruction. Thank you and god bless!
Great video. I have a very low BS tolerance and this video helped me find everything and I got the job done. My unit has a hose that does not connect at the bottom and the plastics memory keeps it coiled up towards the top. I took my filleting knife and poke a hole in the hose next to the end - tied a heavy sinker on it - and now it rests at the bottom. Just a tip for other views. Thanks again BOwens42 !
I'm glad to be able to help, my hose was coiled also but I do like your idea with the weight 💡 great idea and thanks for watching I really appreciate it 👍
Thank you for a great video. Since Frabill itself apparently doesn't care if you can actually put it together, this was the only video I found that helped. I will post a full review with helpful hints on Amazon once I actually get to use it.
Thanks for making this video. Getting ready to go fishing in the morning and had absolutely no idea how to make this bucket happen! Thanks a bunch! Hope you are blessed with tight lines this weekend!
Great Review! thanks after seeing this went out and bought one for a Christmas present! The notes on aerator tube and stone will save a lot of frustration. Happy Fishing!
I am going to get this particular Frabill live bait bucket. It will be perfect for my set up. The two key takeaways that helped me figure things out about it ahead of time, that weren't clear elsewhere, simply by watching this tutorial is that: 1) I now know where to expect to find the aerator hose and battery compartment, and 2) I now know that it can run off of either 2, 3, or 4 AA batteries. I think I will use 4 rechargeable ones at that. This video was thoroughly insightful, helpful, and highly appreciated. Thank you. Salute.
Just got mine today and once I saw that screw I kinda figured the hose would be in there. Nevertheless I appreciate the video because like you said it didn’t come with any instructions. Thanks Bruh Bruh 🙏🏽
FYI ONLY. During hot weather put a bag of ice on the top of your bucket with some holes poked in it. As the ice melts the drops will put oxygen into the water and keep it cool at the same time. Try to keep water temperature below 70 degrees.! On real hot days put ice blocks inside the bucket. Freeze water bottles or zip lock bags
Very good idea 💡 I will definitely use that and don't be surprised if I cover that in a video this summer if you don't mind.but thanks for watching and I appreciate you ☝👍
Dude, I just got mine today and was confused as well. I took the box out and eventually found the hose and rock. I saw a video on Amazon, where a guy replaced the rock with a small water bottle inside and he said it kept his minnows alive for A LOT longer. Check the Amazon reviews for the video the guy posted, I am going to try both this weekend on the lake. We'll see what happens.
I wonder if it would work for bigger chubs..You can't find them old tin buckets like that anymore. Now where Stuck with plastic crap. Thanks for Sharing fellow fishermen.
My grandsons bought me the Frabill 6 gallon bait bucket last summer,I used it and this year the aerator went bad.Called company they said you could buy them online. It was under a year old and they told me to buy a new one.Good bucket but warranty isn't very good in my books.
I ended up putting the big aerator that takes D batteries 🔋 on the side of my bucket,it last way longer....but thanks for watching my friend I appreciate it 👍
I bought one of these buckets. I have watched about 5 or 6 videos on this bucket. Everybody talks about it needs batteries. Everyone says that you can use 2 or 4 batteries, but nobody says what size batteries. Could you tell me what size batteries it takes to run the motor? Thanks
So there are instructions on the bucket but they weren't clear enough or maybe they were and the design is flawed but they said to put the hose thru the hole on top of the lid but then when the whole thing is closed it pinches the tube not allowing air to pass through. So I just hooked it up right to the bottom like you did and bypassed that dumb hole on top
There was instructions? Oh ok,I didn't see any but I ended up putting a bigger aerator on it that takes D batteries so that it would last longer...but thanks for your input and I appreciate you watching 👍
yellow thing, the handle? i think thats what you were talking bout ...idk thanks for watching and please give more details if i didnt answer your question
Double aa ,but I ended up getting a secondary aerator that sits on the side of the bucket and it takes D batteries and last way longer...thanks for watching and I appreciate you 👍

How many minnow/shiners can you keep in there without overcrowding it?

My batteries got super hot, although the motor worked. Is this correct?
I didnt have any problems like that, are all of your batteries facing the same way?
@@BOwens42Outdoors honestly, I couldn't see the plus and minus signs so I kept trying different ways until I got it right.
Ok,good 👍
I've used Duracell and Energizer batteries and it won't run longer than 2 minutes. Could the aerator be defective? The batteries are good.
I bought one of those buckets about 2 months ago bro. My fish survived the whole day until I release them when I left.
Yeah I love it,works well...thanks for watching
I appreciate the support bro
Yo,you alright bro!! Haven't seen you for a while...hope all is good god bless
