- I've attached my heart rate to the game of Mario Kart. When my heart rate increases, the game exponentially increases its speed. When my heart rate decreases, the game exponentially decreases its speed. Can I get all 12 mario kart places WITHOUT REPEATING, while controlling the beating of my own heart?

If you're curious, the heart rate to game speed math i came up with was 2 ^ (0.1 * (currentHeartRate - 70)). So the game exponentially increases or decreases the farther you are away from the baseline of 70BPM! My engineering degree actually came in handy for a video lmao

@@Gamer3427 actually, they would eventually finish, it would just take a long time. His formula would make 0bpm slow it down to approximately 1 frame every 4 seconds

Hey just fyi: you can decrease your heart rate by simply exhaling slow and steady for multiple seconds straight, because you activate your parasympathetic system by doing so (and inhaling does vice versa)
This also helps with panic attacks :)
Edit: you shouldn't avoid inhaling in exchange of a non rising heart rate. lol
Edit 2: too calm you down from a panic attack you can do 4-3-7 breathing scheme (or variations of it)
4s inhaling, 3s holding your breath, 7s exhaling. Repeat. Works even better if you only concentrate on counting the seconds and the focus on your breath.
Psychological therapy will help with panic disorders.
well that is true, but it only really works before or after the panic attack, since theres not much you can do in the middle of it. and by before i mean REALLY before, like when youre starting to feel iffy, not when its building up too much. just make sure youve got a small candy on hand (or a mint) and pop it in your mouth when you're sure you arent going to choke
