The best car review channel I've watched. Your review is very detaile and precise. Thanks for all the good work and info. Chey traverse has always been one of my dream cars. But this currently model is a beast and outstanding.
What about comfort level of the RS driving down bumpy roads, in comparison to the LS? I'm more interested in a smooth ride than off-roading. What do you think?
Thx for the video but for a passenger vehicle to be competitive it has to be at par with other vehicles, in terms of amenities & infotainment features, - that's why these are the least of my worry. My interest are on performance (fuel mileage, capacities), safety (active & passive), engine & drive train specs, vehicle dimensions, how the engine is mounted (transverse or longitudinal) and other mechanical features particularly suspension, brakes & steering. I love "L" type longitudinally mounted engine for ease of "in-frame" maintenance-repair, e.g. timing belt/chain replacement, and other running performance advantages in favor of the rear-wheel-drive configuration.
That was likely a packaging change from when they announced it a few months ago. the Acadia is the same way with some of it's options. It's not uncommon for this to happen. Unfortunately, it is not standard anymore.
@@Maxwell1989 It hasn't been updated to reflect changes yet. Consumer facing websites seem to lag behind other GM guides. It was like this for the Blazer EV also.
With the new union contracts prices will be even higher. Worried about quality control issues with Chevy, especially with a new engine. That's a lot of stress on a small engine for a big vehicle.
I believe it is based off of the 2.7L in the Mid/Full Size trucks which has proven very reliable thus far. It shouldn't be an issue for this size of vehicle.
I'm more concerned about record breaking profits than the UAW rates. Mary Barra, CEO of GM, made $29 million in 2022, while UAW workers earn slightly more than $40/hr.
Would be nice to know the how RS compare to Acadia Denali and Z71 vs AT4. I mean now Acadia and Traverse are almost the same car then 2025 Buick Enclave will be entering the same platform seems like.
Thanks for the info, that's unfortunate that all of the upper trim levels on many of the 3 row SUVs don’t even offer it, I don't understand why they assume everyone in the market for the upper trims would get a third row just to delete a second row seat. Oh well
They sure are pretty and loaded with lots of cushy comforts and technology. Too bad Consumer Reports downgraded Chevrolet & GMC in their reliability. A near $60K vehicle that spends much of its time in the shop would be worthless to me. As such, I wouldn't go near one and I'd be more likely to select a Palisade Caligraphy than the slightly larger Traverse.
Thank you KIA and Hyundai, you have made everyone step their game up...
Yes they did!
Thanks for all the details, definitely made our choice easy !

I really appreciate that! Stay tuned for more Traverse content during this year!
Thanks for the info! Do you know if there will be memory seating for the driver’s seat in the Z71 trim?
do you know if RS or Z71 which one has smooth ride? Thanks
Thanks for the detailed review.. do you know if memory seats will be available for the z71 trim?
can this off road drive on snow? are the tires ok with below 0 F?

The RS will come with 22" wheels as standard. The LS and LT will likely provide the softest ride due to the 18" wheels.
That’s so annoying that you can’t get all those features on the z71!!
It would be nice!
Do the convenience and driver confidence packages come with the LT and LS trims?
Going with a Black Z71 w/ all options. I the fact it sits higher. And the suspension should give it a smoother ride.
Very interested in this. But waiting for the 2025 model. Hopefully the kinks will be worked out.
Great video! I've been waiting for this information!
Thanks! More to come!
Will 2024 traverse rs have ambient lighting on the inside of car?

Do you know how much would be to upgrade to the lather seats on the LT?
What about the website saying super cruse being standard starting with LT?

@@CarsMadeSimpleit is standard it says LT and up included super Cruise
@@CarsMadeSimpleit still says standard on Lt and up on their website right now for super Cruise

Another great vehicle choice for review and as always, done very well
Appreciate it as always!
You didn't mention a GPS / Navigation option !! Will this be available ?
It will be standard like the Chevy Colorado (Google) but require a subscription to use after the short trial.
So what about heads up display? Why is they no mention of this feature nowhere??
Very valuable information, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!

I've got everything laid out, I just haven't had time to film the videos yet. Stay tuned!
When it is coming in the US market?
The first Traverse are very close to being on their way to dealers!
Can you compare the explorer ST with the RS traverse?
I'll certainly look into it! It does get a little complicated with vehicles with more options/packages but I will see what I can do 🙂
Any power folding mirrors ?
Yes! RS only
2024 models coming out know?
Can I just get basic transportation ?
According to GM INSIDER the 2024 Chevy Traverse will start production later than initially reported & is now scheduled for FEB 12, 2024. Thanks. 👍😎🇺🇸
Interesting! Hopefully it will be available come April!
Option for bench 2nd row?
The LT has the option for 8 passenger seating but the Z71 and RS do not

Sabes si van a venir a Colombia? Tengo una equinox y la pienso cambiar por la RS
No estoy seguro
Great review.
Thanks!
Most dealerships, don’t even know this information right now I ordered a LT. They told me it was gonna be 60 K.
That's unfortunate to hear. Hopefully they will research it before time because this will be a popular product!
Are these available for order? My wife is wanting one but not sure if they were available yet.
@@christianortiz6956 Dealerships should have already had allocation to order their first units.
@@CarsMadeSimple yes they are available I order mines it will be built the first week of march
I work at a Chevy dealership in Canada and we just got price release yesterday. But have been able build and place orders since December 2023.
Looks great but what about fuel economy numbers?
And reliability ,is it available in turbo only if so there goes your reliability
It doesn't look like fuel economy number are available quite yet.
