too bad you guys don't have a location in Northern Cali, would be great to have one in Sacramento or Roseville, would love to work there... so long as you kept all arachnids away from me :P (some people think it's hysterical to see a 6'10 guy that's got serious arachnophobia)

Whats your favorite plants to use in the vivarium? My crested geckos vivarium was over watered and I'm having to dig out the mushy plant matter out and I'm just thinking about redoing the whole thing.

Questions. for plants could I use an aloe plant and/or a spider plant? Is it better for them to use a lose substrate or reptie carpet? And is a 20 long tank okay to use for a normal day gecko?

the funny thing is that I was at the louisville zoo recently and they didn't have many lizards just a whole bunch of snakes and with the lizards they didn't have very good setups. every vid i've seen from you guys that are setups are 100000000x better than the louisville zoo's setups. you guys rock

How many day geckos, of the smaller species like peacock, can be housed comfortably together in a 75 gal vivarium
I just got my giant day gecko five days ago and she has lights but always stays hidden behind plants and never comes out but she is eating when ever I offer her repashy or applesauce what could be wrong?

I own a leopard gecko, do you think a day gecko would be a suitable second gecko or do I need to be more experienced?
since you have a leopard gecko (terrestrial gecko species) you need experience with an arboreal species such as crested gecko.
+THEBLOOP channel crested geckos are an easy arboreal species of geckos
+THEBLOOP channel I recommend crested and fat tailed gecko

Do you have uvb lighting on them? Increase humidity if you have shedding issues.

What size tank is recommended for a giant day gecko?
Hi I'm getting a giant day gecko next Monday but after watching this I'm confused if the tank I have got for it is right. its an exo Terra 18(h)x24(w)x18(d) so the same dimensions as the one in the video, but on its side. Its also live planted, so is acceptable thanks.
it would probably work, but typically day geckos would prefer more height in their cage.

No, the absolute smallest I would recommend is an 18 x 18 x 24 - they get up to 12" long, and an 18 cube is just a little too cramped for them.

What terrium should I use for my Leopard gecko
Elijah Wilhite it's just a 20 gal tank (long). They are not arboreal so they won't need a cage like those geckos. They're always having a deal at Petco it's called a dollar per gallon so just go to Petco and you can get a 20 gallon tank for $20

Kejuan Pacheco leopard geckos need a totally different setup. They especially don't need lights!

+alec l Wipe it down with white vinegar, it works just did it myself,try mist with purified water too avoid the stains :)

We are unlikely to do a video such as that, but it is possible to create an outdoor pen for a redfoot tortoise that is naturalistic.
CAN gold dust day geckos be for starters. BTW I've done all my research, so I just want to know if if they can be for starters. ?????

Both my day gecko amd crested gecko love the repash. But every now and then my day gecko does get calcium dusted crickets and she loves them.

How often or how do you drain the water that collects in the hydroballs? I keep hearing making a small pond makes it easiest, but I don't really feel comfortable making a pond for my lined day gecko's vivarium.
You actually leave the water in there. If there gets to be quite a puddle underneath, you can decrease the amount of moisture you add to the cage for a while. Cutting back misting for a few days usually allows the excess water to evaporate or be absorbed by the plants.
