Thank you, Ryan! I passed my test today. I had to come show you some love on your YT. Thank you for creating these amazing videos. They helped me immensely.
Hi! Let me preface by saying, I have a non-tech background. I discovered Salesforce in 2022. I created a Trailhead account and began to casually complete modules. I got serious in Fall 2023. I scheduled by test in early January and spent 3 weeks studying. My biggest tip is: set an exam date because it's forces you to commit.
Thank you, Ryan! Your content has been incredibly useful for me. Passed the test with ease today and will soon start working on my next cert using your content-again!
If you're familiar with Microsoft Excel, objects are like excel tabs, and fields are like different columns (i.e. Company Name, Address, Phone) on the same tab where you can input data. Make sure to open a free dev org and create custom objects and custom fields.
Thank you Ryan! Your videos helped me to clear my certification. I watched 2 times once before starting my Trailhead and after finishing the Trailhead which helped me to get overview and later helped me to revise the topics. Thank you again.
Hi Ryan - I just found your channel and so glad I did! I'm just starting my Salesforce journey and currently studying for the SF Assoc exam. Your info was very helpful! Excited to check out your other videos!
Hi Ryan, I'm a beginner looking to get a Salesforce certificate. Would you recommend the admin right away or would it be necessary to get the associates certificate first. Any advice would be great! Thank you.
Hello !! I am going to shift my career from a teacher to Salesforce. I am taking my First exam… Salesforce certified assosiate in a month. Any tips/ help appreciated greatly.
Hi, I have a specific question regarding customers versus partners. I have been working for a third party company supporting a specific client on the back end by handling their sales operations - cases, tickets, data hygiene, etc supporting their sales team. Am I still considered to be acting as a customer on their behalf, or in this instance am I acting as a partner? I have been working in SF for several years but I am trying to compartmentalize my existing knowledge ahead of the exams. Thanks!
Thanks for brining up this scenario. I like to think of it as who am I employed by? If I have a W2 (I am an employee) of ABC corp and I log into ABC corp's Salesforce to do work, I am a customer of Salesforce. If I am employed by ANYONE else and am logging into ABC corp to work on their Salesforce, I am likely a Salesforce partner that is contracted by ABC corp to help.

Hi Ryan, I'm a beginner looking to get a Salesforce certificate. Would you recommend the admin right away or would it be necessary to get the associates certificate first. Any advice would be great! Thank you.
If you're familiar with CRMs then you can go straight to the Admin cert. Otherwise it might be nice to use the associate as an intro into everything.
Thank u for ur help❤

The most important thing when learning Salesforce, is to get into a free developer org and work through any question or scenario you are studying.
