To everyone complaining that it cost too much: I dare you to find me an amp that is:
1. Made in North America
2. Uses 6v6 tubes plus midi
3. Has TWO NOTES TECH embedded in it
If any other "name brand" amp manufacturer made this it would cost $2500 and everyone would be loving it. That or it would be made overseas to keep it the same price that it currently is.
Also, stop comparing this to the Katana. The Katana plays AA ball, while the D20 plays in the majors.

All tube 6V6 powered amp with tube driven FX loop, Two Notes Torpedo with Reactive Load embedded, Midi controllable.. Not remotely overpriced in my opinion. Cheers Lucas.

I still think the Fender Twin Reverb is one of the best sounding clean amps, but they are huge, heavy, loud and not cheap.
FOr sure its a total classic!
The price always makes me feel disapointed lol. But yeah their the cleanest amps for the money
The clean in the hot rod deville is also very good and much cheaper
I think fender will start making high quality us made lighweight lunchbox tube amp even better with those kind newest technology.
tube amps are really more simple than all these model makers make you believe... gear is great but after a few years of gas I just want to play.
Just wanted to mention that this demo directly resulted in my purchase of this amp. I hadn't seen anyone else mention the power amp modelling as an option when loading your rigs. Brilliant! I've been using WoS to get my home tones for a while and was considering the purchase of a Captor X...but having the option to either use the full tube amp or the modelled power section put me over the edge!
That goldtop has a luscious jazz tone..
That damn intro is still stuck in my head like it was yesterday. I'm asking, once again, for a full version of it.
Gonna wait for a Generator-20 version of this with built in distortion. The less pedals I have to buy and hook up the better.

This sounds epic! While I am listening with quality in ear monitors, I’d love to hear this in person. Once I get my pedal board up to par I’ll be looking into this or the Pete Thorn PT15.
Cool. I've seen boutique amps similar to this 10 years ago or more, but the price of the Revv is certainly more attainable for the average player.
The latest amplifier creation I came up with is a Radio Shack handheld 9 volt AM/FM radio stuffed into a cigar box and it cranks out at a whopping 100 watts RMS. Sidenote: I'm a certifiable liar.
Can you use a cab and balanced out to the PA at the same time? I'd like to be able to run this to the front of house, but still use the cab to monitor my sound from the stage, and at least hear myself on stage.

I don't know who makes Robert's chair, but I have one similar to that but with a taller back that I really like. Mine is the "Sorina" chair from Staples. Good solid swing-away arms, comfy, and better quality than a lot of chairs costing much more. IIRC, mine was about $120. Happy Hunting!

Does not have 16ohm option???? So is not posible to conect a 1x12 cab???
To my knowledge you can run a head on less ohms than the cab…16 ohm head to 16ohm cab, 8 ohm head to 16 ohm cab, etc. The problems occur when running the head higher…16 ohm head to 8 ohm cab, etc. I may be wrong but it’s worth looking into.

The Katana is a cool amp how does it compare?
Katana is great but you can't really compare a solid state amp to a tube amp. In my opinion they are in different leagues

Already just by the short NAMM-vids and then reading some basic specs I concluded “this is more or less what I’ve been waiting for but nobody has made yet” 😄
I’m manly a lots of pedals all in front of a good clean amp guy. Want the same sound going into the DAW that I’m tinkering with at home without micing cabs and amps. Want a practice amp on “bedroom level” and also something for small gigs. Revv D-20 ✅ every box.

It's a great amp design, but if you already have an amp and some kind or two notes product or IR/load box sim of some kind, then you don't need this. But if you don't then it's a great product all in one.
Can i use stereo effects with the revv D20?
hey robert: can d20 go simultaneously to cabinet speaker and through the line out so that you can be heard through p.a. and also have the air movig out of the cabinet? also, does it have enough clean headroom for loud gigs? thanks.
Karlo Zampera yes it can run the virtual cabinets via direct out at the same time as having a physical cabinet for monitoring
Baker I love your videos but you absolutely have to do better at leveling your audio brother its wayyyyy too low when you speak and wayyyyy too loud when you play unless you hold a remote in your hand it's unwatchable c'mon brother fix this please

Great demo! Been curious on the amp. Would be nice to see a comparison between the Revv D20, Friedman Runt 20/Smallbox, Bogner Atma, Marshall Studio 20 and ENGL Ironball lunchbox amps.

Eh, I have Fenders if I want to shove pedals into it. Two notes? I have attenuators. Its a tube amp. So are all of my amps. Sorry, just not for me. In my opinion, Revv should have added gain that was a chip off its bigger siblings.
I was thinking about getting one of the new Marshall Vintage Studio 20 watt amps, but this might have jumped in front of that on the wish list!

Nah man most Pedal platform amps are 2 grand with no gain at all and don't have the 2notes stuff. I'd say it's pretty dang good if you ask me lol

I totally understand man. I Get offered to be paid to hack garbage all the time and that will never happen. I only demo stuff that is actually good from brands that I trust to take care of you guys. That's why I only work with a handful of brands. I can only think of 2 times I reviewed more budget-friendly products.

Dude the katana is an ok beginners amp but you really can't compare one of those to this. If you've only played on solid state amps then it's great that you can be happy but even a sub $200 amp with actual tubes will blow it out of the water. I don't get the katana snobbery. It's pretty hilarious actually.
