Went to the airshow on sunday. Vulcan was definitely the highlight along with the harrier. Vulcan is so loud though, you always get the standard car alarms going off :)
Amazing how a aeroplane that big can move so fast and take off so quickly. In my opinion the only other aeroplane that comes close to this is the Concorde. Both British both awesome.
Was there that day sat in the grandstands. When this lifted off virtually in front of me the sound brought tears to my eyes. What a machine.
The Vulcan XH558 at Farnborough Airshow.

I was standing in the VIP part. the noise! My god it was so loud my right ear drum popped! all I can say is, Farnborough...what a fantastic Airshow!
Lived here all my life and this was the most amazing aircraft I saw
I watched this at the Abbotsford, BC, Canada airshow back in the mid 70's. Great aircraft. Too bad it isn't in service any more.
Saw this at farnborough airshow today, best plane ever made!
Sad Ill never be able to see it again :(
Thank you for an amazing video!
I saw this today after years of waiting to see her fly. I love this plane so much and have supported Operation 2015. Thanks for sharing this video.
OMG is this beautiful!
Concorde was great, but it was half French and retired too soon. The Vulcan is British beef in beautiful flying form.
Love it.
Superb footage :)
I thought the Vulcan had retired earlier this year. I remember reading some article about it.
I was there on Sunday it was amazing
Phenomenal display :D
Tragic what is happening to 558 now. Such a beautiful aircraft.
"We don't know how many years of flight are left on the Avro Vulca-"

They tested the Concorde engines on the Vulcan when it was being developed.

Oh dear the Vulcan is so loud.......... beastly aircraft!!!
Come on XrGrimreap....... whatever! Man up mate, that's what real aircraft sound like!
How things have changed:
This 'Heavy Bomber' carries less than a F-35 Lightning II Fighter!
With ONE engine!
TheLifeinvaders - how could they! the Vulcan first flew in 1960!
I've been there, it was really hurt to my ears
