European legislation has made it harder to remove the dB-killer. There is no more screw to remove. You have to drill out all the rivets, remove the end cap, then you can remove the dB-killer. Best is to drill a hole in the end cap so you can always put it back in again. As this is not my bike I did not modify the exhaust but now you know it was also not possible for me to do this work to remove it as the owner would not have appreciated it.

Hallo! You said that sensor was damaged. How did you know? Check engine lamp or bad sound?
It gave a certain error code.
sound almost same from original to this so sad for the price of near 1000euro extra.i have also the z900 2020 but im thinking about to put sc project this is a huge difference.
I only know how the 2018 Z900 sounds like. Next to the sound, don't forget the less weight. And titanium, so it won't rust as easily as the stock exhaust.
It also doesn’t catch your heel like the standard exhaust. I went for a ‘chinapovic’ exhaust copy myself. It’s holding up well and sounds very similar to the real thing.

The problem is not the exhaust, they tell you if you buy it that you have a akrapovic exhaust but you only get the slip on. Trust me, if you change the pipes too it’s a real akrapovic sound

Superdikke motor! En als je 'm na je 2 jaar A2 gaat ontgrenzen een groter verschil dan bijv. de Z650 ontgrenst (wat overigens ook een heel gaaf ding is om mee te rijden). Kawasaki is goed bezig.

Nice video man! I got a question... I have noticed a slight, single click sound everytime I start to accelerate on my kawa z900 2020. It sounds like a relais-click and appears from gear 2-6, just at the beginning when I turn the gas tap.... Do you have this click too? Didn‘t noticed it so far...
I haven't heard is. But then again, this is the restricted version (from 70kW down to 35kW). There is also a full power one. I think you should visit your dealership and ask a mechanic to ride for a short bit on your Z900 to see if he hears it too.
I have 2020 z900 and that click comes from the rele from acceleration, I have this info from Kawasaki store. I’ve asked the same question on first day.

I don't know about the slip-on if it would fit. I had about 7,14 L / 100 km. It does like to drink.

Brother I recently installed a baffle into my titanium exhaust on my z900 .. when on a ideal mode it is having a small tapping sound .. is it common with a baffle

This is a slip-on. Kawasaki dealerships sell them.
MotoSnax when you have a slip on and a db killer installed it is a waste of money, doesnt sound better nor produce bigger power

Ja, is geen verschil qua uitlaat tussen de gewone Z900 or Z900 A2.
I'm so glad I live in America where I can buy a 200hp motorcycle as long as I have a license. I would shoot myself if I had to ride on an A2 restricted bike for 2 years.
Over here you will have to wait till you are 24. Before 2013 it was the age of 21. But trust me, these A2 bikes are faster than 99% of cars you will encounter. So no need to shoot yourself. It is a good way to learn how to ride a motorcycle.

Hey, for anyone interested, I have a 2020 z900 (black) with Oem Akrapovic from new. Was quite quiet so swapped front headers for Black Widow and Akrapovic mufflers didn't fit so changed back to stock headers and drilled through Akrapovic carbon fibre to reach the baffle(DB killer) retaining bolt. Once the baffle was out (very tight, wiggle, pull, tap, wiggle pull hard) the difference is very noticeable (not heard or picked up by phone/iPad mics). It is now loud enough to attract car and pedestrians attention. On my couple of rides since extracting the baffle I noticed car drivers looking more and pedestrians looking also. Depending on your local regulations I would recommend removing the baffle instead of swapping the header pipes. It has and with responsible riding make other road users of your presence. I take no responsibility for my comment or actions of others following my advice. The reason I post is that all/most z900 Akrapovic DB killer removal videos do not do the sound justice and result in "sounds the same comments". Romeving the baffle makes a big difference. Hope this helps for those wondering what if.....
yep, removing the baffle changes the sound a lot. Then again, not legal. Over here they will give you a big fine and possibly take your complete exhaust.
