- Welcome to Wanderland, join me as we go down the Rabbit Hole in London for a lovely pre-Valentine’s Afternoon Tea at The Hansom Restaurant located at The Hansom St. Pancras Renaissance.
A traditional past-time in King's Cross most inspiring venue. Savour the afternoon tea while learning about the stories of how our area has transformed into the vibrant destination that is today.
Indulge on the signature St. Pancras Afternoon Tea in the heart of King's Cross, served in the vibrant setting of The Hansom, with a selection of sweet and savoury delights, the tea includes a spring berries mousse, a choux au craquelin with rhubarbe curd, and a cheese cake tart with strawberry compote.
All pastries are served alongside freshly baked scones and a delicious sandwiches selection, including an English Cucumber, mint and crème fraiche, a chapel and swan smoked salmon and cream cheese and a vale rare beef and horseradish cream delight.
Priced from £49 per person for the St. Pancras Afternoon Tea. Add some extra sparkle to the occasion by upgrading your experience with a glass of Veuve Clicquot for an additional £13 per person.
Available Wednesday-Sunday, 1pm-5pm.

"I'll make this work for us." The ultimate in customer service! I'm not crazy about such a huge space to dine in, it's too much like a food court at a mall, IMO. A couple of days ago I made some egg and mayo with black pepper, white truffle salt, a pinch of cayenne, dijon mustard, and finely chopped water cress. Then last night I made a chopped prawn (shrimp) and Mary Rose sauce with mayo, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, a squeeze of lemon, chopped water cress, salt, pepper and a dash of Tabasco. I just tried it on some buttered bread (with out crusts of course) and it was excellent!

I had afternoon tea for my birthday here. I really enjoyed it. The sandwiches were tasty, and i had the option of sparkling jasmine tea in a champagne flute. I loved it.
