If I was in the same position as you trying to get your best self and thoughts in a video, I would definitely lock the door. It's so hard to get a Moment of Clarity in order to connect the dots in your brain. I always enjoy your thoughts which i write down on notes and tape them to my desk to see.
Thanks Anthony, my issue is that I have a fear of public speaking since I was a teen for this very reason. It's something I have been working on for decades. I have been getting invited to speak at large seminars but have been turning those for a while. This year I am biting the bullet and agreed to speak at a seminar in March. Any advice on how to prepare for a speaking engagement of over 1800 professionals???
Practice, practice, practice. Practice far more than you think is reasonable. Then practice some more. A good general rule: 2 hours of rehearsal for every 1 minute spent speaking. So if it's a 30 minute speech, that's 60 hours of rehearsal. That's 120 runs through the speech. You want to get to the point where it's just so ingrained in your brain that even if you get nervous and everything shuts down, you're still good to go.
@amplifiedimpact Thanks, my brother. Happy New Year. I pray that you continue to be in good health and that you continue to crush those goals as you did in 2024. I'm looking forward to seeing where this channel goes in 2025 as you continue to serve this community.

Love hearing that, Jon
Listen to your instinct.
You don’t need a Jaguar. Everything they’re thinking is right.
Instincts are a powerful thing
