Able to engage with her emotions to just the right amount, and able to use comedic delivery and body language to tell vivid stories. I don't see her paralysis limiting her career, with her talent and spirit she'll find success anyhow.
Yessss, she really is a great speaker😊 And I love that about her, because I'm really nervous when I have to give a speech😬😊 And it was an inspiring video of course😊🙏
When I was in a wheelchair for a short period I started doing wheelies after a day. It's easy and fun. Kinda like you sometimes just stand with your weight on one leg and the other leg is there just to keep balance. It's natural and easy, a change of balance and releases tension on your back.
Disability doesn't define anyone. I am a healthy young man, i smoke 4 packs of illegal tobacco a day and drink so much you wouldn't believe, I still go to gym and can run for hours and lift etc. but I would trade my legs for her state of mind. I am boring, having nothing interesting to say to anyone, never had a relationship and a complete failure at every level.
@@061Hitachi How about you keep your legs and work towards achieving her state of mind? I'm sure this is easier said than done, but why not work on that rather than say you are boring? Best of luck to you. Vincent
"Will I be able to have children? Will anyone ever want to date me?" In 1989 I met a 19yr old girl who was in a wheelchair as a quadriplegic from a broken neck (car crash when she was 15). This year, we will celebrate out 28th anniversary. We have 2 grown children (both conceived and born naturally) and recently, our first grandkid. Over the years there were doubters and even critics, that it would never work. It would never last. But we proved them all wrong and proved ourselves right. I'm from New Zealand (she's Canadian) and at our wedding our moto was "Mo Ake Tonu Atu" which is Maori language for "Forever And Always". Saying hello to her was and is the best thing I've ever done in my life. Best wishes to you and "the Hitman".

Here from JERRYRIGEVERYTHING. Didn't realize I was at a Christian TED Talks. Cambry is an extremely admirable young woman, even if i don't agree with her faith. Hello from a believer :) I was just told by a non believer that they're impressed by successful people who believe in God because they always give the glory to Him and that they never take credit. The bible says that God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity but of power love and self-discipline. Jesus loves you bro, you just have to get to know Him..then you'll understand where that strength comes from :):) read it and try to understand because once you do...its on haha it also says that in the bible..we have blind folds on when we deny Him. He has an answer to everything
Thank you for that... we are of different faith but you did not come here to dispute that in which I believe, nor do I resent you for believing different. You, friend, are a good human. Even though you may not claim Christianity, this is the most Christian, and therefore Christ-like, comment I have ever read. May you always have love and peace.
Of course we all know where I came from. But I have to say she's a remarkable young woman! There's so many people on this planet, including myself, that take all of life's gifts for granted. And yet we are reminded time and again, that life in all aspects, no matter how mundane the action may be, is a precious gift. How? By people such as herself. Through adversity they rise up and reclaim what makes them human. Why simultaneously, showing us, that we need to stop showing pity for ourselves, pick ourselves up from the boot straps, and keep going! In whatever form that takes!
My heart melted at a level 6 with deeper grooves at a level 7 while watching this video, whereas the inspiration and the story were at a level 10, on par with diamond!
I remember when this happened too. I was no longer a vaulter, as I had progressing rheumatoid arthritis, but my sister Flo was. I remember feeling so sad that day, even though I never had the chance to get to know Cambry. I was sad not only because Cambry had been severely injured, but also because I had lived a similar experience, and knew her recovery would be a lot harder than mine. I am so glad Cambry found herself, found her way through the gloom, and found her happiness again. I also would not go back and change my past so that I no longer lived with a chronic dibilitsting disease. I have learned things I may never have learned. I've become stronger than I ever thought I could. And I learned to find happiness without being able to do sports and many of the things I used to be able to. Even with putting aside a few dreams that were no longer possible. I thank the stars every day for having a chance to live at all in this fantastical universe. I've opened my eyes to a whole other world of dreams. And I'm so happy that Cambry found her happiness and strength in the face of such hardship. ❤️❤️🌻❤️❤️
I have spinal stenosis at age 40 from Accident this girl is an inspiration to me I lost my job and my wife walked out on me but my kids always love me .
What a freak accident. But y’know what? This girl has an amazing attitude and I think a lot of us should think of her when life doesn’t go our way or we experience some bad luck. What a tremendous show of courage and strength it took to go out there and speak about your life. I came here from the elevator video and I’m glad I did. You’re an inspiration to many, cambry.
Cambry thank you reminder not to compare ourselves to others. We all have humbling experiences and I love how you took that experience to teach others.
Just watched Jerry Rig install an elevator in their house and he sent us over. Great story and whom ever hit that dislike button.....interesting choice.
Truly inspiring. Zack seems like a genuine good man. He built you an elevator and made you a road bike to get you to places. And I see a marriage in the near future. Her life is in a much better place now.
Thank you Cambry for sharing your inspirational journey with us, I see from the comments you are a married woman now. You are absolutely right when you said that God has a plan for you. I am glad you dont have to date anymore lol. I love how you said, you didnt have to walk to be happy, and that happiness is created regardless of circumstances. I also love that amidst all the trials, you went back to the place that made you happy, and from there you were able to find your way back again. I hope that anyone who sees this amazing journey of yours, will always remember to return to their places of peace, comfort and happiness in their trials. I believe In our individual places of happiness, we will feel the spirit and the peace that only God can bring. All the best Cambry on the rest of your journey to happiness, God bless :)
Ik this is a late comment, but I have epilepsy, I can't drive and when I'm out with friends and people my parents expect me to tell people that we need to put me in the back seat of the car with the doors kid locked and they will only see me as mature if I can jump out of my comfort zone to say those important but embarrassing things. Who would be jolly and joyful about that? I can't swim and my parents freak out about me living on my own, which I understand, but that doesn't make me feel like an adult. I can empathize with you because it takes ALOT of courage to find humor and humble yourself enough to ask for something sooo important but humiliating!!! Thank you for being such an inspiration of Humor, Happiness, and Hope!!!!!!!!!!!
MY Wife of 48 years used to say, "life is uncertain, eat the dessert first". Cambry you are doing a good job or taking care of the dessert, keep eating. She passed away in 2016. Like you thought my life was over. All the plans we had were gone. And for the first year I did feel that way. And then I began to think, "what am I doing. We are sealed together so this is only a temorary separation" I still miss her but I know we will be together again" You are giving hope back to many people. Keep doing that, well done !
I found this video after watching her on another yt channel and I am very happy to see she has a happy life with kids and a loving man on her side. She is lovely girl/woman. I wish all the best!
May every body who still can walk. understand that value of being able to walk, understand how valuable the small thing that you have. how much of us really see the value of being able to walk. be thankful for EVERYTHING! you have.
My grandma is in a wheelchair and she told me that she doesn't want to live anymore. That's when I decided that i will do everything to make her life as beautiful as possible and travel with her around the world. Follow us on our journey ♥️
As someone who is afraid of many things, paralysis is something I want to avoid. I can't see myself in the difficult position of being unable to walk, unable to use my arms, and the mere thought of having to stop drawing, writing, painting, baking, cooking, well just working in general terrifies me. The fact that someone who had so much had to give a lot of it away and is still happy despite it is nothing short of improbable. There was a speaker who came and talked at our school about his time as a teacher and one student stood out to me when he began talking about them. The student was a boy who at a very young age was hit by a semi truck and had his legs amputated at the waist, that boy survived but could no longer get around like you and I can. The teacher went on to explain that when this boy asked his mom to het him a bottle of water off the counter, instead of doing it she told him to get it himself. Most would perceive this as unkind, but it turned out to be the kindest thing she could have done for him. The boy climbed his way up the counter and got the bottle of water, if she had not told him to get it himself he would never have learned he could get it. This boy did not use a wheelchair rather he used his arms to move him around and despite how hard that would be, he got good enough at it that by the time high school came around he could get to classes on time every day. This boy was also a wrestler and a very good one at that, taking first in state after his last opponent made the mistake of trying pin down the legs he didn't have. When I look at his story and look at Cambry's they have at least one thing in common, despite the difficulties they had to face they found a way to do things that made them happy. To say that they are inspirations sells them short of what they do, living as they do isn't inspirational, it is a spark that can ignite thousands of lights and forge changes never thought possible. For every incredible act comes another set of infinite possible sparks and makes the future bright with more incredible acts from the fires those sparks set. Do not forget that it is not what you cannot do that defines you, it is what you already do despite what you cannot do that makes you.
Met you through a JerryRigEverything A.K.A Zach Nelson and hearing your story reminds me of the quotes "A brick wall isn't there too stop you, it's there to show you how much you want something" "You do something even if the odds are against you because it's what you lived for" "Experience is what you get when you don't get what you get" You seem and sound like a great woman and you are with a great man

Wow Cambry great story of your life. I dated a lady who use in a wheelchair and she was very independent but lived in a group home. There was nurses on the job 24-7. She passed away in 2018 after 6 years of dating her.
Not sure why I'm seeing this five years later. She's so awesome. Her attitude is ridiculously amazing. I just watched her video with the new two wheel wheel chair with Zach. It's awesome.
Thank you for sharing your inspirational life lessons Cambry. You’re very brave. How do I know? When I was 17 I came very close to spending the rest of my life in a wheelchair, when I had a massive motorcycle crash. I broke my hip, pelvis, three ribs, my right foot, and bones in my back but not my spinal column. Also dislocated my shoulder and had concussion for 8 days. It took me three months to walk again properly, though I was back on my girlfriend’s motorcycle four weeks later - in snow and ice. This was 1978. I’m not sure I could have coped as well as you do, and I’m not convinced I’m as grateful as I should be for surviving. I don’t share your faith either. But I respect your right to believe. Indeed conversely, I believe if there is a supernatural supervisory entity looking over us, he must have a odd sense of humour. I wish you all the best. Your words have caused me to take stock of my lucky escape. For that I’m in your debt. Be safe, be well, be happy.
Treat them Like normal fellows Don't show Them Sympathy They are Fine Showing Sympathy again n again will lower their Confidence n just treat them as Your equal n they will feel better
Cambry Kaylor’s story is a moving one. We mustn’t be held back by our mistakes, by our shortcomings and by our frailties and what we should do is be looking forward with confidence and hope to the future.
This has been an encouraging talk. Thank you Cambry Kaylor for sharing your personal experiences. It encourages me to get out there and find what makes me happy but to also always put GOD first in my life and not be too overly independent for NO ONE MAKES IT ALONE without the help of our fellow human beings unfortunately. NO ONE IS HERMIT. I have tried only to lead me to self destructive behaviours.
Cambry, that was exactly what I needed. Inspiring and a true testament to Gods plans laid out for us all. I became a para in ‘ 79 from a fall from a cliff in up state NY. I learned a lot about myself and life since then. I also really enjoy you and Jerry on his Jerry Rig podcast. Great team. Keep living and loving to the fullest. All my best to you and the future. Blessings.
Thank you. I live with a couple of illnesses that have required me , like you, to adjust to a different way of doing things. I am so grateful for these experiences that I am having. Growth is not necessarily a painless endeavor but if approached with the right attitude it can be inspiring, as you are.

Pretty sure Zack is workin on that...
Absolutely.
It’s something very difficult
@@MinqApoc yeah, just welding the spine and we're good
Of course we all know where I came from.
As a horse person, that would be terrifying and her story brought me to tears.
Not a horse person, tears nonetheless. She has a fire that burns so bright.
that is why i dont ride horses.
Are you half horse and half human ?? like a centaur :o
Leah Reise I also have Rheumatoid Arthritis and maybe one day will be grateful for it. But not today.

Much respect to this woman, she's so brave and strong.
Few days ago I was watching JerryRig and her video about how they met,
And now UA-cam recommend this video!!

She's an amazing Young Lady and an inspiration to us all. May the Lord Jesus Christ make her walk again!🙏🙏🙏
She's having a good life now with a good husband (jerry rig everything) and a baby boy, God is great 🙋♂️🙏
We are so happy for you Cambry!!!! Zack is a lucky guy!! I hope when I'm old enough, I can marry someone as amazing as you!! God Bless You!!
Cambry thank you reminder not to compare ourselves to others. We all have humbling experiences and I love how you took that experience to teach others.
It makes me realize how small my challenges are and how blessed I am right now! Thank you for your positive example 🙏
Just watched Jerry Rig install an elevator in their house and he sent us over. Great story and whom ever hit that dislike button.....interesting choice.
Probably Aussies who think the buttons are upsidedown
Congratulations Cambry on the birth of your son. Your dream of having a child came true.

Truly inspiring. Zack seems like a genuine good man. He built you an elevator and made you a road bike to get you to places. And I see a marriage in the near future. Her life is in a much better place now.
They are already married
Yep
@@baishya775 This comment was written before they got married.
Michael, thanks for sharing your faith in the Lord and His sealing power!
Cambry you are a true inspiration! so much wisdom in that short speech...May God bless you more happiness always

@Benjamin Tjaa err....no
@Benjamin Tjaa actually his name is zack and jerry is his grandfather's name...
The other videos in this series have 50-60k view, this one is approaching 2million. So I would say Zack drove about 1.9million views to this video.
I found this video after watching her on another yt channel and I am very happy to see she has a happy life with kids and a loving man on her side. She is lovely girl/woman. I wish all the best!
Agent 47 says hello and asked me to tell you guys to stay strong ❤️
Cambry: how am I going to get my old life back?
Me: *THE HITMAN* edit: he made her a sweet elevator!
Why is everyone saying he made it? While its awesome that he installed an elevator he bought, he didnt make the elevator itself.
@@mega-egg5808 he helped with it
Please... Don't insinuate Zack is the reason of her happiness... Is a big part maybe... But she has merits on her own ok!
mega-egg most guys wouldn’t of even put in the effort of buying one
Made her an offroad will chair also
OMG y every one talking about her husband
Guys she is also an achiever
Well done Cambry for your achievements 👍👍
May every body who still can walk. understand that value of being able to walk, understand how valuable the small thing that you have. how much of us really see the value of being able to walk. be thankful for EVERYTHING! you have.
Zach is a very lucky guy. This is a beautiful soul. She is just a great inspiration to all of us.
My grandma is in a wheelchair and she told me that she doesn't want to live anymore. That's when I decided that i will do everything to make her life as beautiful as possible and travel with her around the world. Follow us on our journey ♥️
I hope u made her world/life beautiful again 👌
That's lovely that you have love so great!
"Learning to love myself despite my appearance" says one of the cutest girls on the planet.
Right! I'm in a wheelchair and I can't stand the implication that it's a part of my body like a tattoo or other body modification.
Amazing faith that can only come from God above, keep going strong with Hope.
Shes true saphire with deeper grooves at level 10.
Met you through a JerryRigEverything A.K.A Zach Nelson and hearing your story reminds me of the quotes
"A brick wall isn't there too stop you, it's there to show you how much you want something"
"You do something even if the odds are against you because it's what you lived for"
"Experience is what you get when you don't get what you get"
You seem and sound like a great woman and you are with a great man
The way you speak.. in front of everyone (crowd) without any fear and so fluent.. I can’t even do that while dreaming. You are a very amazing and tough person ✨ Cambry ✨
Wow Cambry great story of your life. I dated a lady who use in a wheelchair and she was very independent but lived in a group home. There was nurses on the job 24-7. She passed away in 2018 after 6 years of dating her.
Jerry: She scrathes at a level...
Jerry: She doesnt scratch!!!
Fun fact his real name is Zack
Zack found a gem
Thank You, Cambry...I understand about loss as well. ME for 37 years, much of it bed bound. You are inspiring, I needed that today.
Came here from Jerryrigeverything. What a truly amazing story
I have tried only to lead me to self destructive behaviours.
she made me cry. but she inspired me to be strong. I am proud that I am a member of the church.
You are such a grate inspiration person in my life Love from India 🇮🇳 👍👏👏🙏
I feel blessed to be able to get to know Cambry Kaylor, even if its just a few minutes through a screen.
Blessings.
We will always remmber you Cambry, the girl who fell of a horse and found a way to win it all.
Hats off to this girl she is real example of positive thinking 🙏🙏🙏🙇

Thank you. I live with a couple of illnesses that have required me , like you, to adjust to a different way of doing things. I am so grateful for these experiences that I am having. Growth is not necessarily a painless endeavor but if approached with the right attitude it can be inspiring, as you are.
Well done! A real example that nothing can stop us live our lives the way we want and never stop dreaming!
It’s Cambry!!! Love her. I’m glad she found God, love and happiness. God bless her and Zack.
