Nice setup! I'm running a 13.7 Rosco barrel 1/8 twist in 223 wyld . Vltor A5 H2 Buffer System. Geissele SD-3G Trigger. PA 3X MICRO Prism. I only have a three hundred yard range to train on. But at three hundred yards, it is spot on.
The great thing about AR's is how many options there are on customizing. My only comment is the magazine, nothing beats the aluminum 20 rounders for reliability and they stick out the shortest of all the mags for prone shooting. This is just my uneducated opinion, your milage may vary.
The rodeo with a snake was awesome. I purchased Aero Precision upper and lower plus the rest of components for my first AR. It has heavy barrel and Primary Arms 2.5x prism scope. It's primarily for plinking for up to 200 yds at the range. Good precision and never had a problem with it.

Are you still using that Pard you reviewed a while back? Any updates on that, or have you completely switched over to Arken? I gave the Arken 1-8 a hard look a while back. My hang-ups were the lack of a reference point for 300yds in the reticle, and when you paint the optic, you void the warranty. Are you dialing or using other reference points for hold-overs as mentioned in the video? Machining on their mounts is absolutely flawless in my experience, especially for the price. I am extremely impressed with Arken. I just wanted a better reference for such a common range. That pushed me back to the primary arms 1-8 raptor reticle, already in use on another rifle.

It’s take 6 years and close to 7k to complete but it’s a 14.5 pinned dd upper, aero lower, geissele 3g, BCM lower parts kit, vlor A5, law gen3 folder, radian talón, radian raptor, vltor IMOD, LMT Enhanced BCG and bolt, magpul 45 degree, nx8 2.5-20, with Steiner MPS piggyback in a Badger ordnance 1.54” mount. It’s the bomb

I'm 68 y/o and have only used iron sights and red dots w/magnifiers. I'm trying to keep it simple, but still have BDC and ranging built into the scope. The Arken optic is by far one of the best budget 1-8's out there. I now own four of the 1-8's. One is on my Noveske 13.7" 308, one on my Alt lopp 5.56 bolt action AR-15, and one on my 14.5" gun like what your showing in this video. The fourth one is still in the box waiting to be put on a 20" precision AR upper receiver I'm putting together. My buddy thinks an lpvo can't be used for precision so I'm gonna prove him wrong. Great video because you just showed everyone you don't need the best of everything.
The turnaround time is at least 1.5 months even with fast ATF turnaround because of the waiting periods, fingerprints, photos etc, LEO notification and on and on. It' will NOT be two to 3 days.
I know one person that got his in 4 days and one that got one in 5. It really has to do with how unusual your name is. I put one in today and I’ll check back here and tell you when I get it.
Don't know if it makes a difference, but I went through silencershop, and both my cans took less than 48 hours to be approved after forms were sent. That was about a month ago.
I really like my Sig 516 with and upgraded trigger with my Acog. I havent tried this beyond 300 yards but seem just fine. But then again I dont shoot past that much. mosty shoot 62 grain out of it havent tried much of anything else.

Love my Arken 5-25 as well as my primary arms glx .308 DMR. Can't beat the Arken for the price

I run a 10.5 with an 80% lower medium barrel 1:7 and it works great
