I use to go Aimia for coffee products, good bunch of lads there, i only remember the factory across road as vimto so they must have sold up, but nice and local for you today 🎉
They are a great bunch over there, sometimes it’s good to be local as it breaks up the week. Best thing about driving - it’s something different everyday
An interesting contrast today. Don't know if you have a Farmfoods store local to you, but they seem to be offering 24 cans of Monster for £24, which could possibly save you a few quid.
Thanks bud may look into it, I know in the long run it’s a lot cheaper but I always look at them deals and like £24!! For some monster 🤣 then pay £2.20 a can 10 minutes later
Not sure about the mpg but I’ll have a check today as I have a bit of distance to cover, in regards to driving we get bonus for eco driving - staying in green band, no harsh breaks etc
Hi, just windered, it s been many years, since i done it. When reversing into a loading bay, am i right in thining you have like a bump stop to know you re at the bay. Coming back to the industry soon and getting lots of info from yourself. Tanks in advance. Al
Glad your enjoying the content Al, yeah they have rubber stoppers to help with shock absorption, it’s normally a black material around the bay with the yellow lines on either side that brush against the trailer as you get close, best of luck on your return to the industry, have a great day
@@Life_of_Darrenperfect Thankyou. A lot better than what I remember where you put a white paint mark on your mudguard which you lined up as a guide . Cheers
Hi mate I have my reversing part of my test in my class one tomorrow, but I am struggling. Any tips please 🙏. If I don’t pass I can not sit my road test Friday. J
Good luck pal, did mine last month, all I can say is dont rush! just feather the throttle reversing. make sure to use both mirrors alot!. and if you need to shunt, shunt!
@JackJones-n6l take your time and watch what the trailer is doing. If you have a tri axle trailer give it time to turn. My instructor gave me reference points which I was careful to make sure I hit. If you use your shunt make sure its a good one 👍
Nice easy day for you mate, No worries about tomorrow vlog. Thanks for taking us a long! Take care mate, Catch you on the next one!
As always thanks Ryan! Have a great day matey
Great stuff, good to see. Must be ideal for a newly qualified, plenty of manovering, reversing, connecting and disconnecting practice.
It really is tbf as you get plenty of practice with the reverse and no pressure on you to get it right first time etc
Cheers Darren nice early Monday finish least you have variety doing your job👍
Absolutely, it’s a good break from the long drives

What sort of mpg figures do you get from that truck, and do you have economy targets imposed from the company
Not sure about the mpg but I’ll have a check today as I have a bit of distance to cover, in regards to driving we get bonus for eco driving - staying in green band, no harsh breaks etc
