The affects are definitely different for everyone. I got the 2nd shot of phizer Thursday and other than a sore arm I had no symptoms and I did a hard swim that morning . A friend of mine got his the day b4 me and had chills and a fever that last 2 days. Hopefully you are back to normal soon. Thanks for sharing Teri!
After 1st pfizer, no illness, but definitely felt about 10% worse on my long run. Could have been the heat since it's heating up, but like you said, might be me just making excuses. Just had my 2nd on Thursday. had a long bike yesterday and felt fine, but I was more affected by the run after the 1st, so we'll see after my long run today on the St. George 70.3 course. I've ran that course every week for a couple of months so I have a pretty good baseline of what to expect.
That’s awesome. After I get through this dirty Kanza nonsense I signed up for, I will be heading up to train in St George a lot as well. Maybe I will see you there!
Never gotten any vaccine as an adult. I got Covid and had a headache and some body aches for 2 days and that was a few years ago and have never gotten it again despite being around people with it. I am also by no means in great shape and I also have Celiac. But I’m thankful to have not taken it or needed it.
I got Johnson one last Thursday then I did Rouvy St. George 70.3 on wahoo kickr. Lol. It was harder than usual. Didn’t swim for two days though because my arm was sores. But did get a chance to go out wit the the 3P vegas crew this morning out to lake mead and got some ows in. Feel ok.
It apparently won't be the same for everyone. I got the 2nd shot and it had basically no effect on me. I felt a little crappy the next day. Almost like when you go too long without sleep. I went for a long, medium effort ride and was fine. Even had a couple of PRs. My wife was in bed for two days with fever and nausea

I got out there this weekend and managed to get a lot of riding in with normal heart rate levels. This week I will finally get back to training. 😁
@@imterribee nice! That's good to hear!

That’s awesome. I wish I could be in two places at once on Sundays. I just hate to miss the lifetime ride now that I’m finally back!

Nice work on those PR’s!
