Your podcasts are so interesting and heart warming, right to the VERY end.
I once knitted my husband a lovely Aran cable jumper to keep him warm when he went to watch football. He wore it once! So I never knit him anything else again. Thankfully my daughters and Grand daughters like the occasional knit wear. I always feel better after listening to you x

Beautiful sweaters, I especially love the short sleeved ones. The yellow socks you blocked look perfect. Very generous of Woolly Adventures to share. The royals….well, in my next life 🤣🤣, I wouldn’t mind looking like Princess Catherine….I’m 66, short, chubby AND I have gray naturally curly hair!! Oh another wonderful visit with you! Like you I have lots of wips, one for the car, one for when I'm watching my knitting podcasts, one for when I'm listing to an audiobook, plus I have been knitting lots of little baby knits for my 2nd grandson due in Sept. Plus I have put together some bags of future knits. I'm old, I'm retired and like you I knit what I want and when I want. I am also blessed to have a hubby that helps me to indulge in my yarny adventures. Take care and keep me smiling.

I have been thinking along the same line since the coronation. Here in the US we don't quite get the whole ROYAL thing. But my Lord is the King of Kings, Lord of Lords ! I hope the royal family knows and undetstsnd that they too need to know him as Savior and Lord and will bow to

Busy knitting with some of your destash , maybe from your rose period 😅 , it was just what i needed to knit a Maema cardigan that has been on my list since may 2021. Great chatting and catching up.
Ruth thank you for your podcast! You are so bubbly and pleasant. You just make my day. Your finished objects were beautiful and your substituting the blue yarn was a fantastic idea. Your husband’s sweater. Hmmm. Mine puts away what I make for him, even though he likes the colors. 😂 It’s his way of cherishing the item. I think it’s crazy. 😂 Anyway, I forget, but I believe your yarn is wool. That sweater can be over dyed with navy, if you want. You can talk to one of your local dyer friends and they might help you. Any color would work, you just have to think about what your current color would blend nicely with. I enjoy your Bible time at the end, too.

Loved what you did with the yellow sweater. Looks amazing. It amuses me people in the northern hemisphere knit ‘summer tees’-it’s so hot here in Australia I can even wear even a light linen weight at times! I barely wear anything knitted in the summer.
Always appreciate your Christian input at the end. Always very encouraging
Our summer is usually not hot appart from last year when we all cooked at 32c.

I am making a sweater in the same color as your sweater for my granddaughter to start kindergarten in September and also making the same sweater in purple for her twin sister. Also working on another mindfulness shawl for myself in fuschia. We like bright colors too!

Hi Ruth, love watching your podcast - they make me smile!! I love your husband's sweater - it really is a georgous color. I think if you can get him to wear it and he gets a ton of compliments he will turn and love it too. You can also maybe dye it once it's done. maybe darken the color and he may like it better? Just a thought. And your blanket is just so pretty......omg I love the colors, suttle and so pretty! I first learned to crochet when I was a kid but I really love Knitting

I so feel you about your husband 🙄I’m a nurse work 12 hour nights I decided to knit him a colorwork hat from the starwars knitting book for his birthday in Jan ( he’s a bit of a nerd😁😁) I had to hide my knitting carve out a minute here and there when not working and he wasn’t around much stress if I could get it done ripped it out reknit etc etc to get the color work just right. On his birthday I presented it to him so excited it came out nearly perfect if I say so myself. He said hmmmm that’s cool kind of flat voice, and has never worn it 🤨never again!!! Ha! Love him to death but he’s not knit worthy
Lesson learned. Believe me.
