Been there so many times with shims, rockers, valves etc. I would recommend going shimless. It was the best thing I ever did for my engine. Great to see the engine got back together after this broken valve.
Thanks mate for the advice 🤙🏻 I love your car and build, I rebuilt this with some stainless mazworx shimless valves and hoping to have no more dramas
ouch that's tough luck! best wishes getting it back on the track
If you make more videos like this, i'm all for it!
The SR20 just makes everything nice.
great content mate. Hope you have progressed well and looking fwd to the next ep.
Aren’t SR’s just beautiful
Gods engine 😍
Yes man bout time you got on the vids keep up the good work 😊
rocker rod tip was good, having this done now I have seen it in your video.
Hell yeah bro, get in there 🔥
found your channel on my home page!
seen you drive online and your an animal bro!
such a shame about the motor😞
but i do agree with ya! always got to be able to stand in ya engine bay
sr good
Yes dude 🔥
Happy to see that you stuck with the SR and even pushed it that far, most have gone LS, RB and 2J, do you find the 92mm crank affecting the rod ratio at all being around 1.4 and being on limiter most of the time?
I love the powerband and weight advantages you get with the SR, but it has been some work. It’s interesting, I’ve always been worried about the rod ratio but haven’t actually had any issues which we’re related back to it. Obviously the rod ratio is horrible, but it’s also probably not too far off a K series
I’m in 👌🇳🇿
Did you have to modify the engine mounts to fit the billet block?
What brand crank are you running?
does it matter using s13block vs s14/15 block. what are the differences?

You have a dry sump set up and ive been looking into myself and for the timing cover it has its own gears inside that picks up the oil from the sump but with that dry sump kit you have a billet sump pan? And theres no pickup in there so do you remove the gears within the timing cover? Or am I missing anything? Thank you for your time!
So I’m running a 4 stage dry Sump pump here, 3 of the pumps scavenge out from the sump and pump it back to the dry Sump tank, while one of the stages pumps the oil for the engine. This is a pretty normal dry Sump setup and they eliminate the standard oil pump gears, so it’s just a timing cover with nothing inside ☺️
Thank you ❤ I appreciate it alot! Also any power differences supposed to with or without the dry sump? Curious to see how much of an effect windage has on this platform
Retainers rails are not a good idea over the valve
Fucking valves, it doesn't make you want to buy Supertech😕. Courage for the rest, with the victory over these bad luck 💪
"P11 head is just better" 😂 sounds like someone couldn't find a p12 head lol
Yeah I managed to find a billet block, 92mm crank, get kelford direct to CNC port my head but couldn’t find an OEM made head
@brodiemaher just need a sprinkle of copium to finish this build then!
