Great video. My craving for cold soba is getting worse right now. I want to make it but i can't find soba noodle in any nearby stores :((( guess i have to buy it online.
Lately it's been udon... they keep for ever after you cook them. I'm getting better at yakisoba. The kids sit and watch anime, and the only thing I can think of is I want to make and eat that…. Whatever food they're having. So I've really started looking lately. They now demand miso soup on Sunday mornings.

What is the reason to put both konbu and hondashi there?
In traditional , is it mandatory that we need to keep the soba cold when eat ? And how if keep in the fridge for sometime then take out and eat?
