Yep! Watched every video. My fave moment in the whole Vlogmas was when Lissie was bobbing her head back in forth and Jessica was in tears laughing. That was so funny!
I was gonna say the same. Ulta, Sephora, Target, Walmart, Walgreens, all do returns/exchanges if you aren’t satisfied with what you tried. Keep receipts or they can look up your transactions if you used your Rewards account.
@@satchelloloveroh how I wish I lived in the US for this alone!! Here in the U.K. once you’ve opened any kind of makeup or toiletry type product you’ve stuck with it ( the only exception being if there’s an actual manufacturing fault with the item). I dread to think how much money I’ve wasted on foundations that haven’t quite been the right shade or that end up oxidising to a different colour. High end and drug store I’ve wasted money on both because returns are not accepted 😢
@@smurfmonster Wow. I didn’t know that about the UK. Maximum bummer. US stores will “damage out” returned products, but at least you’re able to get your $$ back or exchange it for the right shade or a product you’ll actually use. I’d probably be more hesitant to try new products if I knew I didn’t have the return/exchange option. It surprises me how many people in the US are not aware that you can do returns on opened products.
@@satchellolover it makes me think twice about trying new stuff that’s for sure ESPECIALLY if my only choice is to buy it on line! Shade matching foundation on line is a NIGHTMARE!!!
I love rewatching shows, too! Some people think that's super weird but there is something oddly comforting about going back and rewatching a show that you really loved. Especially when you can see character arcs and know where things are going. Makes you feel like an insider or something. 😂 And then you can casually watch them while you're doing dishes or folding laundry or whatever and you don't have to avidly watch every second of it. Such a funny comment to make but I found your comment about rewatching a show very relatable LOL.
I was chatting with the cashier at Ulta about how I was about to spend a good amount of money on some new things and my concerns about whether I would like them or not and she said don’t worry, you have 30 days to return a product (used is okay!!) if you’re not happy with it! Don’t feel bad about spending all that money, go back and return what is not the right shade or you’re unsatisfied with!
That opening clip with the makeup you tried. You look so beautiful! I think the lip combo really stole the show. These cozy videos are so nice on a winter day.
When you mouthed “oh yeah” after drinking the coffee all I could think about was Kevin from the office eating the candy bar when they were having the silent contest 😂
Girl - Take both those products ( Nyx Blur and Elf Camo) back and exchange them for new ones. Wish I lived close- I’d be your book keeper. I just purchased the Accure vitamin C but haven’t started using it- can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it.
Jess, I can't explain the joy I get every time you or Tyler post a video on here. You guys are an asset and very appreciated! Thanks for being there to provide your presence, especially when I'm going through "the storm". Love you guys so much!
We use our hot water kettle for small washes (dishes). If it's just one pot and 3 plates, rinse it out, heat up your kettle, and pour some water in your pot (add cold if needed), then wash the plates in the pot, then wash the pot with the left-over water. Saves you so much, so much hassle too.
Omg so glad Jess talked about quickbooks and book keepers🙌, my husband and I started our own business and it's to the point I feel like I need pro help and was thinking about quick book service but that was my fear just getting bounced around and not customized service, I'll look for something else now👍.
Jessica - I am 66, with dry sensitive skin - I do take care of my skin - but after being an exec in a multi national tech firm, and a mom - I learned the joy of simplicity - at night - one good balm and cleanser plus 1 great moisturizer and a really good serum to help my skin - I have had great success with PAULAS CHOICE CALM REPAIRING SERUM and if needed the CALM TONER. I mix my Australian Gold SPF in with my moisturizer or tint every morning - so far so good.
I don’t know if it is specifically anti-aging, but this almost 26 year old loves the Glass Skin line from Peach and Lily, especially the matcha tea moisturizer. My skin really responds well.
I just bought the ordinary rose hip oil because my skin was freaking out during the holidays, and I remembered you raving about it. I've been doing exactly what you said in the video, I wash my face at night and just put on the oil, and so far so good. Thank you for the tip! 💙
I was having a LOT Of trouble with my retin-A just drying out my skin so bad. I've used it for over 2 years and it just started really irritating my face. A woman in a group I'm in suggested the Sand & Sky Australian Emu Apple Dreamy Glow Drops. It's pricy, but I got it half off with the face roller free on Black Friday, and there are places you can get it for $27 rather than $54 on Amazon. My skin LOVES it. I use it at night and all of the dry patches are just gone. I'm 57, have normal to oily skin in the tzone, and then the dry patches. It hasn't made me more oily, but just really hydrates.
Your coffee bar looks so good!! When I retire and move South this is definitely something that I plan to do in my kitchen! My space right now is just too small... But goals!
I use Agency for my tretinoin and it’s been great. I also started using Loreal midnight serum 6 months ago and I think it’s made a positive change in my skin. I ran into you on your recent Disney trip and you are as sweet and kind as you are in your videos.
Resveratrol!! The ordinary makes a great serum I put on after hyaluronic acid and before moisturiser. Resveratrol is a great anti oxidant, I have had no problems integrating it into my routine. It's supposed to be good for anti aging, hyperpigmentation, and it's shown to help block UV damage
Jessica please show us how you did this winged liner look! It is absolutely stunning. 🎉 It makes you look so modern and youthful! It defines the eye yet doesn’t weight it down. Pleaaaaase show us!
I highly recommend the Bowls Cookbook by America's Test Kitchen. My husband and I eat a lot of protein bowls. Another suggestion is a book suggestion based on the recent book review. That's the book "What Happened to You" by Dr. Bruce Perry and Oprah. I'm not a therapist but I'm a healthcare worker who tried to stay trauma informed, but it's a great book for really anybody. It helps with navigating difficult situations and conversations.
The Goodal vitamin c serum from Amazon is amazing!!!, it actually makes your skin glow beautifully. The Roc vitamin c serum is great, the L’Oréal one as well.
Love that sweater!! I just bought that Banila Clean It Zero in the travel size to test it before buying a big jar...and I love it. Light scent, cleans and rinses beautifully.
Cosrx serums. Their Vit C, retinol, niacinamide with zince and their ceremide Hyluronic Acid serum. They're all new and reformulated. Love, love them and the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum with ceremides to repair the skin barrier and also reduce redness and flares. It's iconic for a reason. I'm a huge Korean skincare person now. As well as La Roche Posay and Glow Recipe.
I have been loving using Inkey List Glycolic Acid Toner and doing barrier supporting creams and cleanser like Skin Fix barrier products. But get chemical peels! Omg when I did them every two weeks for months, like 7 months, my skin was AMAZING. I specifically got Salicylic Acid and Lactic Acid focused peels, with Glycolic Acid sprinkled in some times. You could get them with an esthetician or if you want deeper peels, go to a dermatologist. There is maintenance to them but omg it's so worth it (especially with anything beyond superficial peels) and always have them go full face, neck and decolette!. I'm almost 28 and everyone thinks I'm 21 to 23 based on my skin!
Dude, the Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant is next level. Idk if it's got anti aging stuff in it but that stuff changed my entire skin game literally overnight and I can't even!

I LOVE the coffee bar. I remember I was so exited when we moved into our first house and I finally got my own coffee/tea bar. As a tea and coffee lover this just gives me all the feels ☕️🍵😍❤️😍
My skin looks it’s best when I use an aha/bha toner, vit c, niacinamide and very hydrating moisturizer. And of course retinol at night. Don’t use the niacinamide with retinol-they are irritating together. I find using active ingredients as separate serums that I can mix gives me the best control. I can add and subtract depending on how my skin looks day to day
I highly recommend looking into an Owners Locked! We go to Disney a lot abs this has been a game changer. They deliver it to your resort and pick it back up. I have full size shampoo, conditioner, hair spray, sunblock, etc. We love it!
Just wanted to thank you and Tyler for the book recommendations at the end of Vlogmas. At your recommendation, I read It Ends With Us, It Starts With Us, and I’m midway through Maybe You Should Talk to Someone! :-)
I swear by the Paulas Choice 0.3% Retinol + 2% Bakuchiol Treatment, I adore it, it does not irritate my skin and it makes it look so much better. The entire Clinical line of hers, is so good.
I love when you do these videos the most!!!! The vlogs are my fav that have a mix of everything. I am sure it is more work for you but I love these!!!! And yes I saw every single one of your Christmas ones, please do more vlogs if you can, love them ❤ 🥰 and appreciate your hard work to do them 💖
I gave my sister-in-law the Everyday Dinners cookbook for Christmas and she loves it! She has already made at least 4 things and has plans for several others over the next couple of weeks. Great suggestion!!
Jess, I love the CeraVe cleanser for normal/oily skin. I have normal /dry skin, but I LOVE and have used that cleanser for YEARS. Best thing is that it takes all my makeup off, including mascara and eliminates the cleansing balm step. Great time saver!
I love rosehip seed oil! I started using it a few years ago, for ianti-aging. Now at age 59, I”’m often asked what I use on my face. Truthfully it’s the cheapest cold-pressed one I can find on Amazon . It’s great on the age spots on my hands, the lines on my neck and I use it on my scalp. I’ve introduced it to the other women in my family (ages79-13) with all sorts of skin issues and we love it!
Glow recipe, plum plump hyaluronic serum, fabulous. Their face care is a game changer. I use their products 3 times a week as a treatment regime. Start with bright mud, watermelon tonic, serum, dew drops, retinol eye cream and pink juice moisturizer....love!
The Paula’s Choice skin perfecting BHA is holy grail status! Doesn’t substitute Rx retin a, but pairs up with it like magic!! Also the Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Extra Strength Daily Peel Pads. Those have changed my skin, truly!!❤
Your girls are so adorable ☺️! I loved Gigi’s painted nails. I hope that you eventually exchanged those items at Ulta. So frustrating when the items you’re buying are broken or the wrong shade!
I use the Avene RetrinAL 0.1 Intensive Cream. It's seriously reduced my wrinkles and fine lines! It is a bit pricy but it works! I also follow the Budget Dermatologist here on UA-cam. Love her videos, they are so informative and this product was one of her top drugstore retinoid recommendations.
I just cleaned out my closet, one large black trash bag, I have someone I give it to and she gives it to needy families, love that I’m helping someone. On the avocado going bad, don’t know if you do this but keep them in the vegetable bin in your fridge, they last so long.❤
Love your channel so much, it was my first I ever watched and got me addicted to the UA-cam world. I'm 48 and my skincare secret is that I use Tretinoin every night and then after I have let it sit on my face for about 10 minutes I apply a layer of Aquaphor and sleep with it on. It's honestly been such a great combo and very affordable. I have tried pricier serums and nothing has the results that these do.
Timeless vitamin C is great and reasonably priced. It has a 3 month expiration date but at $25 it’s not a waste if you don’t finish the bottle. I buy it on Amazon with the auto replenish.
I hope you return that stuff to Ulta and get new ones that are unused and un shattered! Don’t keep them! Ulta will take most things back. Also I LOOVE the Josie Maran pink algae serum….it is amazing!
Always enjoy your vlogs! I use Cureology for my tretinoin. Check out Angie from hot and flashy. It’s $39 every 2 months and it has 3 active ingredients. It’s great! Btw, I would return the foundation and powder. Ulta is great about returns. It’s one thing if you use it, it’s another if it’s broke or it’s too dark/light.
Jessica!!!! I believe your shade for the elf powder is 150C! Also, you can exchange the defective items back to Ulta! Lactic acid and alpha arbutin are other serums that are great! Hope that helps. Love your videos always!
So funny you’re rewatching Schitt’s Creek. My husband and I are watching it for the first ever! It’s sooo funny! I don’t know why it’s taken us so long to finally pull the trigger and watch haha Also if the acure vitamin c serum ends up not working, I LOVE the Mad Hippie vitamin c serum! It’s awesome! I really notice a difference in my skin and I feel like it “dries” down. I don’t want that to sound bad but I’ve tried many a vitamin c serum that stays almost oily or too shiney. This one does not and it works well under makeup!
Who else watched every vlogmas on Tyler’s channel and still screams: more please! Also, Jess posted two videos this week, we are blessed!🎉
YES! I’m in Braun family withdrawal! I watched so much, it felt like they were real-life friends.
Fr!!
Never miss them!! I always laugh and it's night to hear and see a married couple that work on marriage to be able to so much joy in being together!❤
Yep! Watched every video. My fave moment in the whole Vlogmas was when Lissie was bobbing her head back in forth and Jessica was in tears laughing. That was so funny!
The best vlogmas!! Didn’t miss a single one either. Just love to see their happy little family 😊
You can totally return the foundations! Ulta is great about returns.

There is nothing sweeter than hearing a baby laugh!
Also, I'm anxious to hear serum suggestions that you get. I've been trying to find one too.

L O V E Schitt’s Creek! Will always re-watch! It’s a gem of a show.
My favorite
Inkey list retinol is really lovely ! Also corsa96 snail mucin is amazing stuff !! X
You must use Dr Gross eye serum called Advanced Retinol +Ferulic Triple Correction. Amazing stuff!!!!
Good Genes by Sunday Riley is my absolute fave! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Girl CVS has the BEST travel section!
Vitamin A and vitamin C are really the only vitamins that help with anti-aging. Try skinceuticals retinol or their Ferulic serum they have. The brand is probably the best on the market atm.
Oh and obviously just keeping skin hydrated and sun protected is key.
That blue floral shirt is stunning on you!
Always the perfect timing 🥰 You look beautiful in that top 😻
I get that same Bed Head hairspray at CVS usually. If you have their app and rewards card then you will occasionally get 40% off coupons. If you actually use those coupons you will get them weekly and I use them for more expensive drugstore hair and skincare products.
I LOVE the coffee bar. I remember I was so exited when we moved into our first house and I finally got my own coffee/tea bar. As a tea and coffee lover this just gives me all the feels ☕️🍵😍❤️😍
I use the Ordinary retinol 1%. It's simple under a good night cream and makes my skin clear and glowy 😊
You should do a video if your coffee cup collection

Cocokind ceramide barrier serum! when my skin is so sensitive that even the cerave moisturizing cream burns, this saves the day.
Happy Birthday to me and I get a Jessica video 🎁🥳😊💕

Try the Pillow Talk Derm serum! It’s amazing. 😍
I love foxbrim serums. It’s a small women owned brand and they have a great selection of high quality products

At night I have been using the Cerave retinol/moisturizer (Resurfacing Retinol), and gradually, I for sure have seen a difference.
This is the best one and so affordable. Never irritates my skin
i'd love to know if there is a Retinol/Retinoid safe for occasionally breastfeeding moms.
Those Late July Lime Jalapeño chips are next level- and I’m not even a chip person! If I buy chips, that’s my go to.

I don’t know why it’s taken us so long to finally pull the trigger and watch haha
Also if the acure vitamin c serum ends up not working, I LOVE the Mad Hippie vitamin c serum! It’s awesome! I really notice a difference in my skin and I feel like it “dries” down. I don’t want that to sound bad but I’ve tried many a vitamin c serum that stays almost oily or too shiney. This one does not and it works well under makeup!
I loooove the Zero cleansing balm, I’ve tried a lot of brands and that one is my favorite
The watermelon poppi is really good too!
Yay for a vlog!! The sweater you’re wearing during your Ulta haul is so cute! Where did you get it? ❤
I work at Ulta take the stuff back that is broken, or the wrong color. Don’t waste your money!
Loved the cute cozy sweater vibes the whole video.
Thank you so much for this vlog today! I had a bad day yesterday and this has helped so much.
Love you & your family ❤ my internet bestie ☺️
The Ordinary Buffet + Copper peptides is a great serum!
I feel better knowing that I am not the only one with color match issues with ELF camo powder. Not helpful but the truth.😋
I use Curology for Tretinoin and Azelaic acid, The Ordinary rose hip seed oil and The Inkey List peptide moisturizer at night!
