Hi Jen. We have the 5 door KitchenAid fridge ($4,000 CND). It is 5 years, 8 days old and we are in the process of having the compressor and both evaporators fixed $$$$. I added the ‘8 days’ because that is how many days we are past being covered under FULL warranty to have these major parts repaired (parts are covered but labour is not….grateful that at least parts are still covered though). We also had to replace the ‘mother board’ early on in year 2 and our ice maker died about a month ago. UGH! After a very long talk with a technician, an appliance Sales Person and LOTS of UA-cam research, this is what I have learned: the less bells and whistles, the better; do not get water and ice dispensers in the door (very few have the no water option, so opt for the inside water dispenser; purchase ‘made in USA (vs Mexico or China which is where the majority are made); one ‘Evaporator’ if possible (most have 2 though); stay away from LG - apparently their washing machines are top notch, but the refrigerators are a money pit. Good luck! Bottom line….appliances are not made like the ‘old days’ and apparently are only made to last 6-8 yrs (so ‘they say’). I’m sure all brands come with issues these days so all we can try to eliminate them as best we can.
Hi, I agree with you about kitchen aid, they only make quality small appliances. Anything bigger than a mixer is garbage. Worst fridge I've ever bought.
When I don't have chicken nuggets at home, I take a can of the chicken, drain it, and mix an egg and shredded cheese with it. Shape them into nuggets and cook them in the air fryer. Eat them with dipping sauce. Not too bad. Enjoy your videos and the great ideas.
Hi, I'm watching your video now, I just saw/heard you say you got some beef so Adam can make beef jerky, can you please try make a video with him when you guys make some beef jerky? I want to know, and maybe others want to know also, thanks
The Kirkland brand dishwasher tablets work well but I hate the tub they come in. I now use a Cascade container that I refill with the Kirkland dishwasher tablets. 😂
I had a Kitchen Aid fridge once (a whole newly remodeled kitchen with all appliances by Kitchen Aid actually), a nice expensive fridge, and it had to be replaced after 5 years and all my other large Kitchen Aid appliances also had to be replaced in a fairly short amount of time. I like their small appliances, but I will never buy their large appliances again.
I'm the one griping earlier about the weird signage over the aisles. I don't need Costco to tell me what I need, I need them to tell me what AISLE things are on.
Kitchen Aid! We spent more than we would have liked but we bought the full warranty. We suffered for years with our pos Samsung. To this day, no regrets. I just love it.
I saw you are in the market for new refrigerator. I just got a Bosch😊 it was pricey but I really love it. I swear it holds more than my old GE but supposedly same size.
I used to live about 10 minutes from a Sam's AND a BJ's, an Aldi AND a Lidl, and a Home Depot AND a Lowe's. Six stores that close made it a great location and can really spoil you. Makes me almost want to move back there. I was a member of BJ's back then.
Great haul! You really got a lot of great items. Getcha a new refrigerator and take that POS Samsung refrigerator and push it out to the mailbox with a sign that says "works! FREE!" It'll be gone in an hour. No more headache from that major appliance.
As a veggie lover myself, I can assure you the veggies from Costco are better and I believe last the longest! I don’t know why, but like bell peppers from Costco will last me nearly two weeks, local grocery store…a couple days. 🤷🏼♀️
We have the upright freezer from Costco and love it! We’re actually considering getting a second one to replace our deep freeze since it’s so much easier to organize!
I use the Costco canned chicken for chicken salad. I don’t think I’ve ever made anything else from it. It’s an excellent “emergency prep” protein to keep on hand because you can eat it as is and you don’t even need a can opener to open it. We have to Hurricane prep here in Florida.
I love Costco produce too. They have the best berries! I keep canned chicken on hand for really quick soups. I only typically use it in a pinch, but it’s good to have.
I know this video is a few weeks old now but I’m going to throw in my two cents - stay away from KitchenAid appliances if you can. I feel the same way about KitchenAid as you do about Samsung 😂 We outfitted our kitchen 7 years ago with KitchenAid appliances and the microwave is on its last leg, the dishwasher had to be replaced about 2 years ago and we’ve had to replace multiple parts on the fridge and the stove. I’d go with Bosch or Miele appliances!
I have the same Shark vacuum too and got it after my Dyson kicked the bucket after repairs and LOVE mine too. No truer words girly Costco persuades us =) so easily, lol.
I will say that the caoe cod chicken salad is GOOD. I buy it and a pack.of their bakery croissants and have it for lunch for a week along with my kiddos. I also like the Kirkland dishwasher tabs.
We have a Kitchen-Aid refrigerator. The refrigerator works well, but we have had nothing but problems with the ice-maker (ice freezing together in the little basket, hoses leaking and very expensive water filters that seem to need constant replacement). I would recommend research in this area before purchase. All the best!
On the Kirkland canned chicken I mash it up with mayonnaise and onion powder and eat with crackers for lunch with some fruit on the side. I usually pick up a box of ritz crackers to have with the canned chicken whenever I get the canned chicken!!!
I know Adam doesn’t like being in camera, but can you please ask him if he can film him making his beef jerky and you don’t have to use his face on camera…plllzzzzzz Adam 😂🥺🥺🥺🥰
Good morning, your videos are always fun. my husband and I buy steaks and we're not going to make them all in the Soux vide. We season them and vacuum package them all. Season them as we would cook then pop ones we're not going to use that night in the freezer. Then we can cook the extras from frozen in the soux vide easier.
Those chicken breast bites are great for salads, my gran kids love it for making quesadillas, they cut it up into smaller pieces. Re: liquid laundry detergent, I use the Kirkland brand in red jug, it has a nice fresh smell.
I wasn’t crazy about the tacos I was actually going to return them I was hoping for a dipping sauce and they get a little greasy and not so tasty or too tasty I’m not a fan.I did the the frozen Asian shrimp wonton ramen soup is delicious!
A lot of the products you have at Costco aren't available at my Costco in Ontario, but I just found the multipack of cooked chicken the last time I was there. I think they're great. I put on salad, in pasta and wraps. Love watching your videos.
I bought the Kirkland scent beads for the laundry. I hate them. They don't dissolve all the way and the smell is horrible. I would stay with the Downy scent beads that you bought.
We have 3 Costco’s within 45 minutes from our house. The closest is 35 minutes away in Flemington. They don’t have the exact products though and I prefer the one in Bridgewater so we go every-other-week. I love small sheet pans. I use them in my Ninja Woodfire Grill and I also use them for meal prep. We did get the Lemon Perfect box. Been looking for the Poppi probiotic drink box and can’t find it. I’ve seen it on UA-cam. I also love the Healthy Noodles. I did get the Burnt Ends once and they were good. I love the mushrooms and the cherry tomatoes that you got. I love when they have the large packs of raspberries. Last time they had Lychee nuts. Something I never see anywhere around here and we have lived here for over 20 years. I used to have to go to the oriental supermarket to get those. I use the canned chicken for a pizza crust and it is delicious. I’ve also used it to make meat noodles (I am eating carnivore-ish right now). I love their low sodium bacon and I buy it often. Cook it in the air fryer 9 minutes at 400 degrees, Supposedly they are selling 3 dozen quail eggs for $7 but my store didn’t have it yesterday. I like their yellow box butter and the deals they have on Irish butter. It freezes really well. BTW if you buy their Himalayan pink salt they have changed the packaging. It used to say it was from Pakistan but it doesn’t anymore. I don’t think it is the same anymore and have stopped buying it. Last month they had the Chosen Avocado Spray on sale and I stocked up. My favorite. I will have to look for the tri-tip. Yesterday I saw that they were selling Korean Kalbi meat and I will buy it next week and see what I think. They used to sell ground bison but they don’;t anymore. I normally buy the Starbucks Egg Bites there. They freeze and reheat really well. I love bringing them to work to cook in the microwave. Lately I’ve just been making my own (recipe came with the egg bite pan from Amazon). I change up the fillings. I also always buy the Celsius box. Love them. Lately they have been on sale at our local supermarket and Walmart for $1.99 a can and they have the other flavors. Hubby doesn’t understand why I buy them. They are delicious and have no sugar in them. So good.
I have a Hisense fridge from Lowe’s and it AMAZING! Even temp all throughout. No freezing in the back or other random spots. Mine has the two French doors and the freezer on bottom. I also love that my water dispenser is on the inside and the ice is in my drawer. It makes it look sleek and clean. We’ve had it over a year now and it’s still going strong.
Jen - my Mother passed away back in 2014 but, for years before she passed I bought her Omeperazole from Sam’s. I had gastric bypass surgery in 2010 and I have just recently started taking it myself. I’m so happy that you are a pickle lover too!
Ok... 90 seconds in...yes, never again with a Samsung fridge. I'm looking to get a side by side next. I'm not a fan of the drawer freezer for the same reason as the chest freezer. Stuff just gets lost because out of sight, out of my mind. 😂
I always buy the Kirkland canned chicken every time I am at Costco! I love it. I use it for buffalo/cottage cheese dip (delish!!) and also use it for a very easy chicken potpie recipe I have!
Not a bad price for that one. I'd like to know if it's good at NOT blowing pet hair around. Got a cat myself. Wanna suck up the fur, not see the exhaust blow it around. I also want to know how the hair does around the roller, do you have to get down there and dislodge pet hair frequently?
We don't have a Costco where I live, but, I found that dill salad at Walmart. Its just 1 pack but, I'm the only one that likes it. I will have to look for the dill crunchy things. I am a dill fanatic.
Hi Jen, great haul from Costco.. I have only been there once as I don’t live close to one. I used to belong to Sam’s but that was 10 years ago and I am not sure it is worth it for just one person.
I’ve gotten that precooked chicken before and we really liked it. I put it on pasta and made wraps as well. They also freeze well imo. I also saw someone use the leftover shrimp cocktail for spring rolls 👍🏼
How do you find things at Costco? Are the aisles still labeled with signs that just have some strange numbers on them? That really turned me off Costco. Got a Sam's Club membership for the cheaper gas prices -- and I can look clear across the store at see that aisles are labeled in a way that makes sense. You know, with WORDS.
Hi 👋 Jen. Great haul you really can see how much prices have gone up there is a lot but I wouldn’t have guessed $900. I think you know what I mean lol 😂. I am so hungry now 😂. I love how the chicken is done in those single packs, I would buy them for sure so handy. I liked all the food you brought, when can I move in lol 😂. I would really research the fridges out as I know you’re doing, it’s so hard to pick. I have just the basic one but I can say I have never had a problem with any fridge I have owned. The one I have now is over 20 years and it’s still going, touch wood lol 😂. This was fun. Hugs 🤗
Something I thought of for my classroom this year is to request no metal water bottles. I know it sounds picky (and I am SO not), but kids drop their water bottles on the regular and the metal ones hitting the floor (x25 ish times daily) is a lot and is also not tolerated well by students that are sensitive to noise.
What a fun haul! That is A fridge - wow! Lol. I have a gigantic chest freezer, and it is hard to organize but my husband is a literal communist and says I can’t get an upright 🙄🫠🫣
I love my shark too better then Dyson. DON'T BUY AN LG OR SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR they are awful crap my Brother owns an appliance repair Co. Those 2 brands are so problematic and pricey repairs. BRANDS TO BUY Whirlpool , MAYTAG, Bosch , Viking
I love Costco-maybe too much. I have the Thermoflasks and they are good for on the go. When at home, I use a larger cup from same brand. Most of our produce comes from Costco or Aldi. Always an adventure at The 'Co... The Envy apples have been delicious..
What's the controversy on that , Prime drink that all the kids are drinking ? I dnt have young kids to buy any but my news has said that Drs believe it's the worse drink for children n I was wondering what I think ? Pls let us know ty for sharing ur opinion on this cause o dnt know what's going on about the drink ? 😮

1 can of chicken, 1 egg and 1 cup of cheese. Mix and make chicken nugget shapes. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes.

Amen! lol
i wish we in the uk could get thr big salad kits i see in hauls from usa... they always look so tasty! xx
I live in Rhode Island, no Costco here but there are plans for one next year! I'm very excited!
Kitchen Aid! We spent more than we would have liked but we bought the full warranty. We suffered for years with our pos Samsung. To this day, no regrets. I just love it.
the kirkland dish washer tabs are made by casecade they are the best
I saw you are in the market for new refrigerator. I just got a Bosch😊 it was pricey but I really love it. I swear it holds more than my old GE but supposedly same size.
Thank goodness we live 5 minutes from Costco. It’s a must with big eaters in the family.
That's so cool. We live close to Costco as well. 10 minutes. I am from Spain, not US.
Thank you for saying "on the fritz" :)
We only use those dishwasher pod things. They work just fine.
I never been to Costco, but I love Sam's. I go twice a month and it is about 45 minutes from me. Definitely worth the trip!
As a veggie lover myself, I can assure you the veggies from Costco are better and I believe last the longest! I don’t know why, but like bell peppers from Costco will last me nearly two weeks, local grocery store…a couple days. 🤷🏼♀️
I have found the EXACT same thing. I’ve wondered if they somehow get the produce faster from the farms.
I agree completely
And it's a good thing that they last longer?
@MomNTraining mine always last 2 weeks from wherever I get them
Yes! Their bell peppers last a long time here in Ohio too!
We have the upright freezer from Costco and love it! We’re actually considering getting a second one to replace our deep freeze since it’s so much easier to organize!
oh you are going to love those burnt ends - a real favorite for hubby and me!
LolJen I was Costco today as well. Mind you i live in Canada, but did see some of the same things here.
Shark way better than Dyson. I love that freezer too!
I use the Costco canned chicken for chicken salad. I don’t think I’ve ever made anything else from it. It’s an excellent “emergency prep” protein to keep on hand because you can eat it as is and you don’t even need a can opener to open it. We have to Hurricane prep here in Florida.
Those birria tacos are YUMMY!!!
I love Costco produce too. They have the best berries! I keep canned chicken on hand for really quick soups. I only typically use it in a pinch, but it’s good to have.
We had a Samsung fridge also, nothing but trouble , our son the same thing , I’d never buy another Samsung , good luck on your fridge hunt 😊
I know this video is a few weeks old now but I’m going to throw in my two cents - stay away from KitchenAid appliances if you can. Chicken in a can idea, I found from Brigitte Beckley- you tube. She uses them to create a crust for pizzas. Looks really good.
I wasn’t crazy about the tacos I was actually going to return them I was hoping for a dipping sauce and they get a little greasy and not so tasty or too tasty I’m not a fan.I did the the frozen Asian shrimp wonton ramen soup is delicious!
The canned chicken is great in chicken enchiladas!
I always used that Kirkland canned chicken for chicken crust pizza. Super easy.
I like that too!! Yummy
I use the dishwasher tabs and they work great for the price ! I also use the dog greenies .
I hear you about Samsung fridges. Just got rid of mine for the money we paid for it. It was a POS.
A lot of the products you have at Costco aren't available at my Costco in Ontario, but I just found the multipack of cooked chicken the last time I was there. I think they're great. I put on salad, in pasta and wraps. Love watching your videos.

Great ideas!!! I really want to know how the lemon water tasted.
Joey suggs has a great buffalo ranch chicken dip recipe, really liked it
We just bought that freezer for our cow we are getting processed! I’m so excited about the drawers!!!
I have a Hisense fridge from Lowe’s and it AMAZING! Even temp all throughout. No freezing in the back or other random spots. Mine has the two French doors and the freezer on bottom. I Love the smell of Gain Laundry Detergen, original scent! If they made that in a perfume I would buy it. I wish they had it in dishwasher pods!
Gain perfume! 😄
Within the first minute I agree with everything lol Costco tells us! Just spent $600 😮 And have a Samsung fridge I hate!!
If i buy premade chicken salad, I buy the smallest container. I use it right away. Same with tuna. 😃
Yes! The shrimp cocktail is delish, and I unfortunately can not pass it up every time I go! My downfall...
Definitely in the market for a new vacuum for pet hair as well I’ll check this one out
I always buy the Kirkland canned chicken every time I am at Costco! I love it. I use it for buffalo/cottage cheese dip (delish!!) and also use it for a very easy chicken potpie recipe I have!
The lunch packs of chicken are so convenient & tasty with BBQ sauce!
I didn’t like the Costco tabs, though I think the powder style tabs don’t work well in my washer.
I make a lot or chicken salad and also Buffalo chicken dip, so the Costco canned chicken is a staple in my pantry 😊
Kirkland toilet paper is great! Try it next time.
Another pet owner who loves her Shark vacuum!
Not a bad price for that one. I'd like to know if it's good at NOT blowing pet hair around. Got a cat myself. Wanna suck up the fur, not see the exhaust blow it around. I also want to know how the hair does around the roller, do you have to get down there and dislodge pet hair frequently?

Yeah, those Great Value dill crunchy things were new to me, but maybe I just don't peruse that aisle they're on.
Awesome Costco haul! You found some things I haven’t seen there but will look next time like the tri tip.
Have a great week Jen 🤗
I don't think I've seen that combo pack of Zip-loc bags at Sam's. I realize Costco and Sam's don't always have the same things.
I use canned chicken a lot. Chicken salad, chicken casserole, buffalo chicken soup
Starting to sound like a line from Forrest Gump. ☺
On the scent beads do they go in the wash machine? I've never used them before!
Yes, they normally go in the wash cycle.
Hi Jen, great haul from Costco.. I have only been there once as I don’t live close to one. I used to belong to Sam’s but that was 10 years ago and I am not sure it is worth it for just one person.
I bought a GE Fridge to replace my POS Samsung, love it so far.
I just opened a can of the chicken and made chicken enchilada soup.
Love your groceries haul nice stuff
I’ve gotten that precooked chicken before and we really liked it. I put it on pasta and made wraps as well. They also freeze well imo. I also saw someone use the leftover shrimp cocktail for spring rolls 👍🏼
Please let us know how the tacos are and the real good foods thank you
Great video. My pups love those chicken bones! And I am going to get some of the veggie seasonings. Now I can’t wait for a Sam’s Haul.
Mmm shrimp cocktail🎉
Wowser!! Now THAT was a grocery haul!! Loved all the stuff you got!! Costco's the best for bulk items. Love their produce! Have a great week!!
Costco is the best place to get butter & bacon!
I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS HAUL LOL
Get the Bosch fridge, you deserve it.
Just when I think I’m not a nosy person, you post this video and I suddenly need to know every detail of your Costco trip 😂
Hey Jen…did you happen to catch the segment on the news tonight about the Prime drinks?
Is that the Coralville Costco?
Yep!
That is the one I go to. Not as much as I would like but it is a 3 hour round trip just to get there
Hi 👋 Jen. Great haul you really can see how much prices have gone up there is a lot but I wouldn’t have guessed $900. I think you know what I mean lol 😂. I am so hungry now 😂. Haha my daughter literally drops hers a million times a day I send her with plastic water bottles cause I didn't want to torture teachers 😆
I dropped my own little 12 oz metal bottle a few times, and it IS loud!
If I spend more than $100 at Costco, I get a little nervous. I think the most I've ever spent was $200 and that was at Christmas time 😂
Mandy in the Making has a video on canned chicken recipes.
Samsung has a class action lawsuit against them regarding their fridges they have extended warranties I would look into your model
Google how much caffeine is in Prime!! It’s like 5x the amount in a can of Coke!!
That prime she bought isn’t the caffeinated one. It’s more like gatorade etc.
This is the one without caffeine:)
I've never been to Costco, but I love shopping with you, Kim Wads, Carla Mackenzie, and etc.
I come here to see all the goodness ❤ I always come away inspired to eat more vegetables 😋
Jamerrill Stewart ❤ inspired wisdom. Love it! We don't tell Costco what we need, Costco tells us what we need. 😂
What a fun haul!
That is A fridge - wow! Lol.
I have a gigantic chest freezer, and it is hard to organize but my husband is a literal communist and says I can’t get an upright 🙄🫠🫣
😆😆
I love my shark too better then Dyson. DON'T BUY AN LG OR SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR they are awful crap my Brother owns an appliance repair Co. Those 2 brands are so problematic and pricey repairs. BRANDS TO BUY Whirlpool , MAYTAG, Bosch , Viking
❤❤❤❤❤
I love my shark vacuum also 😊
Jen and family have a great week have fun thanks from Oklahoma
Samsung fridges are the WORST!
I'm watching for a second time. I can't wrap my mind around spending 900 on groceries in one trip.
I love Costco-maybe too much. I have the Thermoflasks and they are good for on the go. When at home, I use a larger cup from same brand. Most of our produce comes from Costco or Aldi. Always an adventure at The 'Co... The Envy apples have been delicious..
❤
