currently rockin the runewords black, lore, rhyme, and smoke on my frost zealot in act 5 nightmare - i lucked out and found goblin toe last night in palace cellar a2, what a huge difference they make! im loving the frost lifestyle! interested in tesladin but the slowing of freeze is hard to pass up
I've made a tesladin sp, no battlenet runewords and it was super strong and fun to play. That is until act 3 hell, where everything was lightning immune and was a whole lot of running, begging for mercy, saving and quitting, crying and questioning my existence. Still a fun character though.
My Holy Freeze Pally is using the Doom Rune word + Conviction setup and he does pretty well. I don't have to worry about AR because of the - def from Conviction and the cold pierce + = even more dmg. Also you could use infinity on the Act 2 merc with the Setup that Llama has shown with this video that also will help with AR because of the - defense that Conviction grants.
Can you do this build using 2x items as Doom for holy freeze and then max conviction with hard-points? Do they 2x doom holy freeze from items stack together (holy freeze 30?)
Could you also show the character’s performance in players 8? Possibly also doing baal? Maybe get the game ready first with a tp at baals throne room. If the character isn’t capable of killing Baal maybe also talk about the drawbacks of the build. Also, how’s the rock climbing coming?
My old paladin build is fire aura armor and weapon with dream helm shield and helm and then maxing all 3 max resist santcuary and holy freeze. 4 points into smite and rest into holyshield
@@dfcfcd5826 if yoi get alot charms with resi your magical resistance over all is the best in game, but physics dmg hits you hard since no damage reduktion beside string or verdungo
you canty stack holy freeze from you and doom right? also was woindering to experiment with an eth upped p coldkill hatchert kicks with build wish still had my og d2 shit to edperiment
Show us the mercenaries equipments, cause his/her weapons always help your character a lot. Like in this Holy Freeze build, a Act 1 Mercenary with Faith bow for Fanaticism, or a Act 2 Mercenary with Infinity, Pride or a Reaper's toll. It's just a comment, of course u do your guides the way u want and it's a great video anyway :)
The Zerk axe has the most efficient dps all around while having only str requirement which makes it an easy choice for a balanced %dmg up RW while still being decently fast. If you need implicit Attack speed (ie, for a Smiter) i suggest Phase Blade with 6 shael runes in it until later stuff comes in (Beast RW is an option).
"some gear" that's the understatement...more like godly gear. If you are playing self found PlugY going to take a long time to acquire all of those items. Still working on my first Grief right now....

Does holy freeze from doom adds anything to your 35lvl paladins holy freeze aura?
They dont add up. You don't have to worry about having a lower effect either, since higher level auras overwrite lower level ones
