Thinking of leaving California, for Italy?

As a realtor in California, I can say, first hand, that the US is getting untenable. I believe that the most disturbing thing is the cost of things. If you think it's this expensive everywhere - think again. In addition to this, I see a growing frustration with political leadership from the right as well as the left. They all seem to be in the service of corporate interested to the exclusion of you! The recent firestorms in southern, CA, make everywhere in this region seem unsafe.
