- Sort of a tutorial video explaining and showing how to make Dremora your friends.
For the game The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion.
Found out about this by accident. Then I went to try and make more friends to see if it can be done again and wasn't some sort of glitch. Found out you can indeed make them your friends.
Not entirely sure what makes them finally want to talk to you, but the things listed in the video should help quite a bit. :)

Dremora isn't as bad as they seem.
They're just doing their job.
+Guvs Hammerstein Lore-wise, they're super racist, though. They reject the personhood of all other daedric races, and all mortal races as well. If it's not a Prince or a dremora, it is but a mindless animal in the collective eyes of their culture. And they _really, really like_ their job when that job involves fighting things. There's probably a progressive, sensitive dremora or two, though. :3

I think people are fascinated by them since they are pretty close to humans, in comparison to other daedra....

Did you know that, in the side-game _An Elder Scrolls Legend: Battlespire,_ the bad guys lose because a high-ranking dremora hated having to work with Dark Seducers and other non-dremora enough that he gives the player information specifically to sabotage the whole thing? They seem kinda unreliable for that reason, but then again, it only seems to have happened once.
Aleksa Petrovic I dunno if he's the strongest (certainly he's one of the most amusing, and perhaps the cleverest); other lesser daedric races, especially the dremora, are most likely no less if not more fanatical than the seducers/mazken at least (as the mazken are apparently a bit more mercenary than their golden saint/aureal counterparts). (Side note: golden saint = aureal = aurum = gold; I just got that! :0) Thing is, we don't see any other princes' realms as civilians in any TES game to date (only as intruders progressing thru a dungeon), so for all we know, literally every other prince has a realm full of equally obsessed servitors. It'd make more sense that way, actually.
Actually Sheogorath was the former price Yggalag, price of order. He was so strong and mighty that the other princes joined forces to curse him, that's how he turned into Sheogorath, always destroying the order he stands for, only to get his clear mind back once in a while, rebuilt his realm and the cycle starting over. He actually a pretty sad and tragic figur lorewise, but I definetely love his cursed / crazy side
everyone should get on nexus and petition a mod for this guy so that dremora have in depth and expansive conversational dialogue.
up to and including fetching sigil stones and becoming followers.
I think there should be a alternate main quest mod where you can stay a member of the mythic dawn and help open the gates and destroy cities as you earn infamy instead of fame and eventualy do mini side quests for mankar camorin himself in paradise

Dremora are just NPCs with a very high "fight" value. The fight value defines how low an NPCs disposition can go before it becomes hostile to another actor(including the player). For most NPCs in towns, this is usually 10 or lower, meaning the NPC will be hostile to anyone with a disposition lower than 10 to itself. For dremora, this value is 100, meaning they will attack on sight just about everything not in the daedra faction unless you can sneak up on them or cast a calm spell. The former was shown in the video.
I remmember being scared playing the game when I was like 9 years old in the oblivion gate.

Yeah back when I was little I was stupid enough to fall into religion, and quickly hell became the scariest thing ever oh my mind.
The oblivion gate gave me a very hellish vibe and I needed to take a deep breath before even entering.
And and it just strangely felt overall scary.
I wasn't scared to go anywhere else.
But I sucked it up and completed the gate.

How to Traumatize Dremora
You can do a similar thing to some of the hostile enemies in Morrowind, except they'll have unique (and creepy) dialogue, lol. :)

TheLordpeanuts You don't have to make them follow you..if you are sneaking..get too close.. and NOT IN SNEAK MODE press the conversation button (this is for the sixth house members) and they will talk to you like..WHY DO YOU FIGHT US OR YOU UNDERSTAND NOTHING...LORD DAGOTH DOESN'T COME TO YOU, LORD NEREVAR..YOU COME TO HIM ! And there is a cool ash vampire if you talk to him he will offer you dagoth drink..and keep talking..he is cool really 😂

you can also do this by increasing your infamy by killing entire towns. If you become a pinnacle of human trash; bandits, dremora, and other evil things will suddenly be your friend.

Yup, the same effect can be achieved by using a very powerful Charm spell as well. However, it can be a little tricky because if the Charm spell you use is too powerful, it will raise their disposition to 100 so you wouldn't be able to persuade them. When it expires, the disposition will drop back to the original value. The trick is to use a Charm spell that is powerful enough to make them talk to you but still allow you to play the persuasion game so you can raise their disposition permanently using speechcraft. Nice tutorial.

there is a book in Skyrim about a child spawn a dremora for filling a black soul gem. dremora fill it with childs soul. by the way that book written by that dremora

Man, I miss when you could just fuck around with tons of mechanics and spells in TES games. I spend way too much time damaging my fatigue to below zero and propelling my limp body into bookcases / kitchen tables / guards.
Central Intelligence Agency have you ever cursed a ring with fire damage, put it on, and went invisible/chameleon? You become a literal living flame. Just be wary of health drain, because (well duh) it can be fatal.

It's totally possible. If you yield, the Dremora might accept it with one of the lines mentioned, though you need to use Charm on them and probably have high enough Fame.

You can also do this other ways, such as using a powerful command humanoid spell to control them then speak to them, or by fortifying your personality so high.

Same effect can be achived with very high personality. I'm pretty sure that almost nothing attacks you at 1000+ personality, even creatures.

I miss the Persuasion minigame in Oblivion. In Skyrim, it's just Perks, and enemies that you absolutely have to kill.

Good video. I found another way to join the Dremora and other Deadra Creatures. I am sorry to say this only works on pc. First access the console. Then type "SetFactionRank" I found many factions to join with the Deadra. Here are the codes. Deadra (53fed) Oblivion Creatures (4872d) Kyn (3e9a6) Conjurers (4b90b) This is how you will type in the console "SetFactionRank" (code) (rank) For rank it is a number. If they have no ranks or you wish to join the beginner rank type 0. Some ranks like the Mages Guild have ranks. 0-9. 0 is associate and 9 is Arch-Mage. If you wish to join the Dreamora this is how you should type it on the console.

Make sure you click on you character after you activated the console.
Once in kvatch there were just two dremora standing around and i could talk to them without doing all that stuff in the video. I made them my friends and it was fun haha. Anybody else had that glitch?

Dremoras are violent at first but once you get to know them, they are nice and will trade Oblivion goods or get a Sigil Stone for you... lol

it works actually, when i was high enough on charisma, just use a charm spell, go talk to them and use the "persuade" system, it is actually a lot easier than daedra enemies.

In Skyrim: Dragonborn, you can get get access to two powers that spawn friendly Deadra. One will sell you ebony and deadric weapons and armor, and the other will carry your stuff for you.
it helps to have a charm spell like the one i made at arcane university (Charm 100 points for 5 secs)
