This was the last song of the show, that's why all singers and musicians came out on stage. The tall skinny guy next to Floor was Arjen - the man behing Ayreon. What you said about their storytelling - every album is a concept album, telling a story. Every singer is a character and the albums are set in the same universe. So it's like a musical, but metal. You should check out more of their live videos, a lot of talented people there.
Fun fact! This is not a Ayreon song but a Star One song. Star One is another project of Arjen Lucassen where the songs are inspired by sci fi movies or tv shows. I'm afraid you have to come to The Netherlands at the right time for a rare concert of Ayreon. In the few times Ayreon performes live it's in Tilburg, The Netherlands. Arjen has a bad case of stage fright, so you have to applaud the fact he sometimes faces it.
The guy with the hat and beard who didn't have a mic is a drummer, Rob Snijders. He's married to Anneke van Giersbergen, who did have a mic, and I think she's one of the ones who sing the really high notes. Marcela Bovio is also definitely killing it with the high notes. Possibly also Michael Mills, I know some people can hear him, but I can't in this song (maybe my ears can't hear his frequency 😂)
