Hello Jimmy [ GP42Reacts ] ! Nightwish fan here, your musical quest summoned me. Welcome to the world of symphonic metal! And thank you for checking this legendary band! This live recording is from their 2015 Wembley Arena concert, together with Floor Jansen [pronounced Yansen], the 3rd and present female singer of the band and Marco Hietala, bassist and singer. About the instrumental and vocal added parts - it's good to know they recorded their orchestral and vocal back tracks with prestigious institutions as London Philharmonic Orchestra. London's The Metro Voices choir group and London's Young Musicians Children's Choir as their regular partners. Since this is your first Nightwish reaction, it is my duty to give you the [updated] short history of the band concentrated by Ann Waychoff, one of the biggest Nightwish fan who has since passed away (and I am doing this in her memory): " Nightwish was started in 1996.They are considered a Symphonic Metal band, with a female main singer. They are from Finland. Tuomas Holopainen [pronounced Tuo-mas], the keyboard player, composes and writes the lyrics for 95% of their music. [Sami Vanska was the bassist of the band starting with their 2nd studio album, he was with them until 2001. Then Marco Hietala was bassist and vocals, since 2001 to 2020. He recently announced his retirement both from the band and the public life for the next year at least. Then in May 2021 Jukka Koskinen [pronounced Yukka] became the bassist of the band, for the Human :II: Nature tour - and recently, the band announced he became a permanent member] And there is the guitarist Emppu Vuorinen [he also recorded the bass lines for their 1st studio album]. Then there is Troy Donockley from UK who is a multi-instrumentalist and vocals. Jukka Nevalainen [pronounced Yukka] is the drummer. In 2015 due to Jukka's health issues Kai Hahto became the drummer and as of now is a permanent addition. Nightwish has had three singers. 1st one was Tarja Turunen [pronounced Tarr-ya] (Operatic vocals). She was with them until 2005. The 2nd one was Anette Olzon from Sweden (Poppy, strong vocals). She was with them until 2012.The 3rd and current singer is Floor Jansen, from Netherlands (power, operatic, soprano.....most versatile) - you just heard her. There are live concerts that you should use depending on what era. From Wishes to Eternity and End of an Era (Tarja), Montreux Festival live 2012 and Exit Festival (Anette), Live at Wacken 2013, Live at Wembley, Live at Tampere, Vehicle of Spirit, Decades live (Floor). I hope this helps. I want to welcome you to the Nightwish community. I hope you like them enough to continue the journey. Believe me Nightwish will surprise you with their songs. You will never know what to expect. They are unbelievable live. I want to warn you that Nightwish fans are hard core. So be prepared. lol " For an extended set of suggestion (with links), I posted 2 huge comments in the community tab in my main YT channel: www.youtube.com/@gabriel.bardac/community 🤘

The Amy Leevanescence comparison was made!🤗 Not so long ago, the Nightwish Army would subject any poor bastard who dared to utter such blasphemy to corporal punishment, but now… Now a Floorgasm almost feels incomplete without the E-word.😂
Singer Floor Jansen (YAWN-sen) the Siren of Symphonic Metal!!! Our 6' 1" Valkyrie Warrior Queen of Metal!!!!! She can sing like an Angel and low guttural death metal growls like a BEAST!!!! Wanna hear both in one song??? From this SAME show do the 2nd opener song "Yours is an Empty Hope" live at Wembley!!!! Floor will turn into the Siren in the Fog and then turn into a BEAST!!!!!! Plus it has a SICK guitar riff!!!!!
Wow, you choose a very deep, personal masterpiece to start with. The Nightwish journey is a wild ride sir! Greets NW army division Holand, land of the one only Floor❤
Floor Jansen (Yahn-sen) stands just a tad under 6-2 in bare feet, and she's wearing 4 to 5 inch heels here....she's the Valkyrie Goddess.......she can sing Amy Lee, and Lizzy Hale, under the table.....she's Dutch, (the guys are from Finland) and has been singing in metal bands since she was 16, (she was born in 1981); she has a 4 octave range, and can switch from operatic to growls with a given song.......Tuomas Holopainen is the keyboardist, co-founder, (in 1996) leader, guru, composer, lyricist, arranger, and producer of 95% of the bands music......he's the Metal Mozart......to understand and gain knowledge of Nightwish, follow the playlist you've been given by Gabriel Bardac, the General of the Nightwish Army, and you'll gain knowledge and insight.......Nightwish Army, South Carolina, USA
Nice reaction! Welcome to the world of symphonic metal and our 6’ 1” Valkyrie goddess Floor Jansen. I know Amy Lee is your only point of reference but you will see Floor is in a league of her own. Floor trained as an opera singer and can sing anything from opera to death metal growls. I think their heavier songs would be more your thing so your next Nightwish reaction should be either Romanticide live 2013 or Yours Is An Empty Hope live from Wembley.
The band is Finnish, The leadsinger Dutch and lives in Sweden and then they have a multiinstrumentalist from the UK . Next song ? Maybe STORYTIME but you kan follow Gabriels list also ... Good reaction!
Floor is a transcendent talent, her tone, range, pitch & control are amazing ... and her stage presence & story-telling is just incredible!! And the band - the band are all masterful musicians. Together they present a synergistic glory that is completely and utterly ineffable. Music should evoke feelings - it is after all, as Tuomas has said, the sound of emotions, and Nightwish personify this perfectly.
Dude! I'm also an American with Nordic roots and Nightwish music is literally within our DNA, I have never listened to anything in my life that brings the emotions out of me the way Nightwish does. It's unbelievable. I FEEL it when they perform the way you did.
If you love awesome concerts, the Nightwish performance at Wacken 2013 is one of THE greatest concert experiences they've had, with Wembley 2015 (where The Poet and The Pendulum is from) a close second. If you want to see how a concert SHOULD start, check out the opening song. Correction: Check out the entire concert. Quite a lot of the songs from Gabriel's list is from there, anyway. It'd make an awesome experience for you and a great reaction video 👍🏻😁
Hello Nightwish Army reporting from the Netherlands. Welcome to the wonderful world of Nightwish. They are from Finland. And they make Symphonic Metal. What you've heard here is just the tip of what this band can do. Nightwish really hits you in your heart. And that's what makes this band so unique. Her name is Floor Jansen and she is Dutch. I happily refer you to Gabriel Bardac's comment (he'll be here soon) for a list with lots of song suggestion. Watch out for the Nightwish Army. Greetings from the Netherlands.
Hello, great reaction, I have the honor to welcome you on behalf of the Nightwish Army, stick to the list Gabriel, we call him general, he knows everything about Nightwish like most, greetings from Poland
Hey man, greetings from UK This was a great reaction, thank you If Amy Lee has the voice of an angel, Floor Jansen has the voice of a dragon! 😁 She is on a completely different level They say that singers sing what they can, but Floor Jansen sings what she wants! You heard Floor sing in her higher register, to hear sing in a much lower register may I recommend to you the song "Song Of Myself" from the Wacken 2013 concert? I DARE YOU to try not to headbang whilst watching that video! 🤣
Floor = Tiamat? The Heavenly Dragon Goddess and mother of all dragons of Mesopotamian mythology! I thought she was Nerthus - the goddess mother of Freya!
Greetings from Seattle, WA Although Amy Lee is a great singer in her own right I have to give it to Floor by far. Floor sings in multiple languages, she sings Rock/Metal, she can growl, she sings opera and has many projects going at once. The Nightwish rabbit hole goes deep. You'll find that no two songs are the same. Every time you listen to one song you'll end up saying this is my favorite and then you hear the next one and you'll say it's your favorite. They are very versatile. I would shy away from doing all of the comparisons to other musicians or bands and enjoy them from song to song. Floor Jensen is the 3rd singer to join Nightwish and she is the best fit for their style of music. As you continue to react to this band you'll find that their songs are unpredictable and don't follow the normal verse, chorus, verse, chorus, etc. pattern of many bands. For more detailed information read Garbriel Bardac's comment below. He has put together a great list of songs and information on Nightwish. Welcome to the Nightwish army and enjoy the Epic ride!! PS, They're from the Netherlands. Looking forward to your next reaction. Thank you
LOL! So you started with a br00tal sniffle and ended up with catching the Floor bug 😂 Fortunately, the Valkyrie Goddess is infectious and healing at the same time. As tt E-word & Amy-Who? I think the NW army will allow it, just this once. As you progress along the NW/Floor trail, you'll quickly find out the difference between a very accomplished singer and a once in a lifetime vocal Goddess ;) Cheers & enjoy the ride! 🤘
The beginning was sung by a boy soprano. It's common for reactors to think it's Floor Jansen as she can sing that high and pure, but it isn't. Floor Jansen started her career in 1997 with a young Dutch band called After Forever.
Hi, Thank you for reacting to Nightwish. They are an incredible band. I suggest making your image smaller so people can see more of the video behind you. Such a great reaction!! #nightwish
This is a tough one to start with. There is so much meaning in this song for the band and the fans. Please continue with Nightwish, the rabbit hole is deep. Great Reaction!🎸🤘
Fun facts ..1. Marco the bassist sang this entire song in the demo as they were between singers at the time, and the pendulum hits Tuamos's ( the composer and keyboardist) 3 min TO THE SECOND in a live 13 minute song from the mark of "three minutes and counting"
This 2015 Wembley Arena show was released on DVD/Blu-ray (along with the 2015 Tampere, Finland show) as part of the VEHICLE OF SPIRIT box set. I have this and highly recommend it.🇬🇧🤘🤘
for me this the the Absolute masterpiece of Tuomas. When he first composed this song, because it was so heavy emotionaly from him,he had his sound closed so he doesent hear the lyrics. you can see Marko and Empu getting close to him, to check him up. Afterall its the song he transfered his Suicide urge in to.
Thank you, very nice reaction! Just Nightwish doing Nightwish things. And as you have surely noticed, although they are all outstanding , none of them standout. Nightwish is their own genre and no other band comes close to the level they are at! Enjoy the journey! Btw, General Gabriel's list is way to go, but as allways, reactors usually start with the "Ghost Love Score"... 👌
Man, this is a hell of a song to start your Nightwish journey with. There’s a lot of meaning behind it, and it’s arguably the most important song in the band’s catalogue. But it’s hard to wrap your head around without some familiarity with the band. Try following Gabriel’s list, and the Nightwish Army will follow you!
Floor has an opera background, classical training at the Music univeristy and finished the Rock academy. What you hear in the intro is a young boy soprano. The song was written when the 2nd singer Anette joined and she can't reach these notes (more poppy voice and mostly album video's) and is not classsical trained. Otherwise Floor would have sung it🤟 Floor is 42 now and she is singing in metalbands since she was 16😂 Her first band (Dutch) After Forever was a great band too! Floor Jansen (Yansen pronounced) is THE best female metal front singer of al times. Floor combines all kinds of techniques in a rapid tempo. She is our Valkery Goddes. This song is written by Tuomas (key's, piano) and it is about an extremely dark time around the band (first singer and friend since the band members were small, she was thrown out because of lots of reasons) The backlash wss HUGE, Floor is Dutch, but Nightwish is from Origin Finnish. They are the biggest band in Finland and when the band decided to part ways with Tarja, the fans, media and even the Prime minister of Finland, talked horrible about the band. Tuomas took the fall, ended up very depressed, could not write music or play anymore and was constatly hunted by the thought of suicide. Tuomas IS music. The end part is Floor singing the words from Tuomas his mother. This is one of their tearjerkers and very deep. Nightwish lyrics are poetry and there is a lot to discover in the lyrics too. BTW, The London Symphonic Orchestra worked with Tuomas, he wrote all the music for their masterpieces. Marko (Bass player) is from the 80's and is a GREAT singer. He can sound like the devil and like a male angel. His voice is superb! The harmonies with Floor ar just phenominal. You just had your first Floorgasmes, congrats😂 You are FLOORED. Yes, all bandmembers are Nordic, (Finland, Holland and Ireland...roy was not on stage here. He plays Uilleon pipes, guitar, sings, flute...you name it) I saw them in Wacken (Germany) for the first time, Floor was not even a steady bandmember at that time and she and they blew us away. 82.000 people in awe.
Wow, what a high dive into the deep end of Nightwish for a first reaction. So Glad this is your Jam. Welcome, you are in for a helva ride. I love this song, the lyrics of the chorus come fast like a machine gun.
The voice at the start was a boy soprano by the name of Guy Elliott from the St Mary's Choir School Reigate, UK. What Gabriel said! Nightwish Army, Blue Mountains Corps, Australia. Nightwish since 1996. Floor is Dutch, the band is mostly Finnish! (Troy is from the UK - Welsh if I remember right) Floor is fluent in more than three or four languages and can get by in at least twice that many! Heavy song for a first listen to Nightwish! Live is almost ALWAYS better with Nightwish! As many might have already said, Amy is good and sings what she can, Floor is a marvel and can sing whatever she wants! and you have just scratched the surface!!!!
Not the opening at this concert. This was song 11 of a 17 song set. The opening was Shudder Before the Beautiful, Like all the songs at this concert, it will blow you away.
I subbed your channel when you first started and I saw you doing reactions to Tom MacDonald. But now, I am super excited to see you reacting to my other favorite, Nightwish,. I can't wait to see more of your Nightwish journey.
Enjoyed your reaction, but I’d recommend maybe revisiting this song down the road, after you’ve gotten to know the band better, as well as the heart and mind of Tuomas (keyboardist who writes the vast majority of the music and lyrics)…the song hits much harder then. As far as Floor…she is Dutch and joined her first band After Forever back in the mid-1990s as a teenager. She does have classical training…I’m not sure where the Amy Lee comparisons come from…Amy is a great singer with a very strong voice, but she does not have an operatic, or even classical, voice. Nightwish itself is from Finland, though, besides Floor being Dutch, there is also a British multi-instrumentalist named Troy who is not seen in this video, but is the sixth member of the band. I see Gabriel has visited you with a link to his list of recommendations…he will not steer you wrong. And you’re definitely right…live is the way to go with this band, especially from 2013 to the present, since Floor’s been the vocalist. You are in for quite a ride, with many many surprises! ☮️
For Viking referances, Seven Days to the Wolves They all know each other, and they are Floor's juniors. Marko is the basist and won Europes The Masked Singer
As to the conversation (?) during the 2nd part - Tuomas, the keybordist (the leader and author of the most songs) and Emppu, the guitarist, both are the founders of the band. Marko, the base player came later, though he was there when the band dismissed their first singer, so he had pretty good idea about the situation, but Floor (the 3rd singer, singing here), Troy (multiinstrumentalist), and Kai (drummer that replaced the first one) read about it in the newspapers....
Anyway, since you have started big, I suggest "Devil and Dark Ocean" from their 2nd album. There is an audio with their first singer as the Mermaid and guest as the Devil, and video from Buenos Aires with Floor as the mermaid and Marko as the Devil (I think Marko is a better devil, because he is obviously interested in the mermaid). And this is a very old video from the time of the second album ua-cam.com/video/44FOGChFWhc/v-deo.html, very poor sound, but, as I said, there is studio version in the UA-cam with exactly this singer. Just search for Devil & The Deep Dark Ocean.
Damn, you started your Nightwish journey with the masterpiece about Tuomas' suicidal thought? Yowsers. I think if you listen to this one again, now you're further in your journey and deeper in your love for them, it will hit you differently. Also the quick 'conversation' between Emppu and Tuomas, that was actually Emppu checking up on Tuomas because he knows this song is emotional for him.
@GP42Reacts This last summer 2023, Metallica needed an opening band on a short week's notice for an Amsterdam Stadium concert, and they got Floor to open the show. She was doing a solo tour at the time in Europe, while rather pregnant. She is something of a wonder woman.
Nightwish Army USA (Pa) division saying Welcome to Symphonic Metal with Nightwish and our Valkyrie Queen Floor Jansen , New Subscriber for this. I'm going to give you a description of what this song is all about. The Poet and the Pendulum was written after firing Tarja the original singer. She was the face of Nightwish at the time, and Tuomas (Keyboards) wrote this and considered her a muse to many of the songs he had written at that point. They had also grown up in the same city and knew each other since early childhood. All the band members decided together to fire her for acting too much of a diva And her husband & Manager was stepping way outta bounds concerning the band business He always wanted more money , only big paying show but the band did it for the love of music and there fans . According to all the band members, Tarja was missing lots of rehearsals and would not even travel with the band anymore. Tuomas was painted as the devil by many fans, and went through a deep depression. He even considered ending the band . He wrote The Poet and the Pendulum at that time, and actually kills himself in the song. He said he killed himself in the song at the 10:00 time stamp , as to kill the pain he was going through . To this day every time he plays it, it takes him back to those feelings, and shows on his face. In the last part, Mother and Father, words are said to him that his real mother said to him at that time of his deep depression. One part that touches me at the end when the guitarist Emppu and bassist Marko, the only other two involved with firing Tarja (that were still active with the band at the time of this show )were standing with Tuomas at the end in solidarity and love., NOTE : the 1st two words are (The End) and the last two words are (The Beginning) representing the end of the 1st era of Nightwish and the beginning of the next era
I couldn’t have asked for a better description, this song literally blew me away I’m pumped to learn more about them and get into more song this was fucking awesome, ps love pa….hate driving across it lol
@@GP42Reacts I Highly suggest there song "Ghost Love Score" at the Wacken Open Air Festival 2013 as your next reaction . They were the headliner in front of 82K people
Very brave to start here, thanks for your reaction, hope you stick around to see more from this excellent diverse band. Floor is a well trained classical singer and obviously contemporary, she is so much better than Amy Lee, Marko the bassist and Floor together a, match made in heaven she also does growls and much more metal singing Always do Nightwish live Gabriel has the list. Hope you are better for the next one🇬🇧
Very unusual song to start the NW journey with, generally build to this one. excellent job getting this band quickly...I had read Lzzy is one of her favorite singers. I like Evanescence but Amy wishes she had Floors range..get the comp tho as closest maybe in the limited American exposure we get here
Not sure who thought it was a good idea to recommend this one to you, because there’s a whole story behind it. I’d suggest doing anything from the live Wacken 2013 concert: GhostLove Score, Storytime, Ever Dream, Ghost River, etc etc. The whole concert is absolutely essential listening.
yeah.. with NW, live is the way to go. They have amazing live mixes. Everything from 2013 Wacken is nothing less than awesome. Best ones being 2015 Tampere and Wembley Arena shows and the Wacken one, followed up by the Buenos Aires 2018 show.
It is not Floor at the start of the song it is a boy soprano. As far as Amy Lee is concerned she is not in the same league as Floor. Floor is probably the best female singer in the world when you consider her range and the genre's she sings effortlessly. As well as other Nightwish also check out her singing on Beste Zangers (Shallow and Euphoria) and you will appreciate just how good she really is.
Great reaction, i think you re good for a journey. Like alice you re down to the rabbit hole. ^^ "ghost river" wacken 2013 // ever dream same concert, i think i spot on for you ^^
Good one. Floor is a Siren/Angel/Valkyrie try Dead Boys Poem, Buenos Ares. Seven Days To The Wolves at Wembley. Nightwish is always better live take a look at Wacken 2013 when Floor was introduced as the new singer to the European fans.
This song is a real personal song for the creator Tuomas this is his suicide song there is a easter egg in it also 3min countdown to his musical suicide
Omg I just found your channel but now you have sampled.REN he's like a very talented drug.😂 You're are hooked now 🤣 His band The Big Push & Ren & Sam busking in the UK. I've got kids his age hrs a gem ✌🏽
Ah, the Valkyrie Goddess snares as herself another soul. Welcome to the Rabbit Hole. Lmao oh, geez, whats it been 4 days? Can't imagine how much hell you've gotten from the Nighwish Army for A. Doing Poet first and without prep and B. The Amy Lee references. To be fair the reason the Amy Lee comparisons annoy Nightwish fans so much is is because so many American first time listeners jump right to it because it's their only point of reference and because, yes; she can sound lijke Amy Lee...when she's doing that. (Never mind that both she and NightWish have been around years longer than Lee) Then she'll talk a breath and sound like Sarah Brifhtman. Another breath and you're listening to Ann Wilson then Pat Benetar then Idina Menzel then Anna Netrebko...and so on. It takes a few songs listening to her to get a real feel for how insanely versitile she is... But you pretty quickly come to the conclusion she's the most talented female singer in Rock right now. Hard to say where the Army will point you since you started in a place not many do. Ghost Love Score Wacken 2013 probably? It's a good next step.
Floor has a southern Dutch accent. It sounds kind of Irish a little. Most Americans hear Amy Lee at first listen. After a few more you will understand how different Floor is from almost all other vocalists. Her range is almost unlimited. Hope to see you again very soon. Get better. The band is mainly Finnish.
This is not usually a song a newcomer to Nightwish will review. But WTF, it was great nonetheless. The beginning was a boy singing, from there on it was Floor. You are in for the ride of your life if you stay on the Nightwish train.
If you are a metal head you need to check out Wintersun and their song Sons of winter and stars live at sonic pump studio. The drummer in this Nightwish video is Kai Hahto and he is the drummer in the Wintersun video. A epic damn song.

Nightwish Army south Brittany France reporting. Introducing the Valkyrie the Goddess Floor Jansen sent from Valhalla to collect the souls of fallen warriors to sit with Odin. After you've gone deeper into the rabbit hole I dare you to come back and compare her to Amy Lee. The intro is a boy soprano Guy Eliot. Unfortunately poet and the pendulum is not a good place to start, there is a huge back story to this masterpiece.
As much as I love Evanesence and Amy Lee, Bought Fallen 6(!!), seen them live three times and I was fakking _in love_ with her for almost a decade, sorry... But she cant hold a candle to Floor. Theyre not in the same league. They dont even play the same sport. Thats not Amy being bad, shes phenomenal... Its just that Floor is not human. You cant compete with that.

Since this is your first Nightwish reaction, it is my duty to give you the [updated] short history of the band concentrated by Ann Waychoff, one of the biggest Nightwish fan who has since passed away (and I am doing this in her memory):
" Nightwish was started in 1996.They are considered a Symphonic Metal band, with a female main singer. They are from Finland.

So be prepared. lol "

She's 6' ¼" (183cm)
1,83. Six foot. I don't understand why you lot keep adding inches. She'll be seven foot next year
Floor = G.O.A.T.
Amy Lee: Can you sing? Floor: Hold my whiskey.
Scotch. Floor loves scotch and red wine😂

The Valkyrie Goddess of Metal
Welcome to the ride!
100000% MAN
If you love awesome concerts, the Nightwish performance at Wacken 2013 is one of THE greatest concert experiences they've had, with Wembley 2015 (where The Poet and The Pendulum is from) a close second. If you want to see how a concert SHOULD start, check out the opening song. Correction: Check out the entire concert. Quite a lot of the songs from Gabriel's list is from there, anyway. It'd make an awesome experience for you and a great reaction video 👍🏻😁
Hello
Nightwish Army reporting from the Netherlands.
Hey man, greetings from UK
This was a great reaction, thank you
If Amy Lee has the voice of an angel, Floor Jansen has the voice of a dragon! 😁
She is on a completely different level
They say that singers sing what they can, but Floor Jansen sings what she wants!
You heard Floor sing in her higher register, to hear sing in a much lower register may I recommend to you the song "Song Of Myself" from the Wacken 2013 concert?
I DARE YOU to try not to headbang whilst watching that video! 🤣
AMY WHO?
Floor = Tiamat? The Heavenly Dragon Goddess and mother of all dragons of Mesopotamian mythology! I thought she was Nerthus - the goddess mother of Freya!

Although Amy Lee is a great singer in her own right I have to give it to Floor by far. Thank you
LOL! So you started with a br00tal sniffle and ended up with catching the Floor bug 😂
Fortunately, the Valkyrie Goddess is infectious and healing at the same time.
That’s also impressive lol
Actually Floor had offered to sing that part, but Tuomas wanted to keep the kid soprano.
Hi, Thank you for reacting to Nightwish. They are an incredible band. I suggest making your image smaller so people can see more of the video behind you. Such a great reaction!! #nightwish
Welcome to Nightwish, greetings from Colombia
Wellcome to the magic Nightwish world, Greetings from nwAse Sweden
This is a tough one to start with. There is so much meaning in this song for the band and the fans. Please continue with Nightwish, the rabbit hole is deep. Great Reaction!🎸🤘
Fantastic reaction, i really enjoyed it
Fun facts ..1. Marco the bassist sang this entire song in the demo as they were between singers at the time, and the pendulum hits Tuamos's ( the composer and keyboardist) 3 min TO THE SECOND in a live 13 minute song from the mark of "three minutes and counting"
Stick with live. Floor is my favorite of the three singers they have had- can’t go wrong with Gabriel’s list. Have fun- can’t wait to watch!
Enjoy your Nightwish journey. You are in for a treat. Greetings from the Netherlands.
This 2015 Wembley Arena show was released on DVD/Blu-ray (along with the 2015 Tampere, Finland show) as part of the VEHICLE OF SPIRIT box set.
I have this and highly recommend it.🇬🇧🤘🤘
UK Army popping in for a great first reaction and what a song to pick.
Want to see Marco sing? Try High Hopes or Kiss while your lips are still red not to mention Islander!
What a way to start your NW journey :) welcome!!! Greetings from Portugal.
for me this the the Absolute masterpiece of Tuomas.
Otherwise Floor would have sung it🤟
Floor is 42 now and she is singing in metalbands since she was 16😂 Her first band (Dutch) After Forever was a great band too!
He plays Uilleon pipes, guitar, sings, flute...you name it)
I saw them in Wacken (Germany) for the first time, Floor was not even a steady bandmember at that time and she and they blew us away.
The saddest and the best Song i ever heard.
The Poet and the Pendulum let nobody cold... a Journey into your Soul... 🔥🎶
Love the way you react man . ❤❤❤❤
She is a G.O.A.T..FLOOORGAAASMMMM😍😍😍
They are from Finland. Floor Jansen is from the Netherlands, and a 6th member of the band (which you haven't seen/heard yet) is from England.
Also, if you liked Nightwish you will probably also love a band from the Netherlands called Epica.
For Viking referances, Seven Days to the Wolves
They all know each other, and they are Floor's juniors.
You want a battle song? 7 days to the wolves on this same concert and 10th man down from Buenos Aires
The theatrics were amazing❤Reminded me of Metallica live whom ive seen 5 times❤
Saaaaame 4 times for me
@@GP42Reacts Nightwish headlined w/ Metallica at PinkPop festival 2022! James Hetfield is a huge fan of Floor's too!

Floors last name is pronounced (Yawn-Sin)
Dude you picked one hell of a song for your initial Nightwish song. You did a good job nonetheless. Cheers from New Zealand.
Love New Zealand 🙏 I appreciate it man
That is a nine year old choir boy at the beginning.
If you want to ride to battle, you need some Wintersun or Ensiferum
This is not usually a song a newcomer to Nightwish will review. But WTF, it was great nonetheless. The beginning was a boy singing, from there on it was Floor. You are in for the ride of your life if you stay on the Nightwish train.
I think Marko sounds more like Lemmy from Motorhead in this song.
