Well done engineering the v2 headband. I will be ordering one soon. I wear my Bose often on various construction sites while using a jack hammer and other loud equipment. So mine have taken some abuse. Great video, everything is explained in good detail. Thank you
This new version is a gamechanger, thank you so much for creating it! I just installed mine after 5.5 years of sticking it out with the original headband from Bose because I couldn't find a sensible replacement solution. The old headband was beat up to say the least, and I was so excited when I found this new solution! It was easy to install (especially with the instruction video) and feels great upon first wear!
Yes. I purchased it off of eBay- if you search for QC35 headband steel bow, you'll see they sell just the frame part or the frame part with the cushion attached. My frame is bent out of shape. Any ideas on how to salvage the headphones by replacing the headband?
@@allthefreakypeople I have not done that one before. I would be worried about where the metal ends fit into the earphone housing. Not sure Bose designed them to come out. I know that these used to break on the QC2/15 all the time.
There is a video on that but it requires special soldering equipment to do it right without damaging the circuit. It involves desoldering the main wire from the ear cups. But yes, it can be done. The video i reference does not show everything but has good amount of info for what you would need to do to figure it out... ua-cam.com/video/7tVYqWIYDLs/v-deo.html
I bought a cheap brand of scrims and ear pads and did not work out. Bought this kit and video made the scrims and pads simple. My headphones are grey and looks like could be used for either color. My original headband looks way more padded so going to skip that. Guess if it was torn it be a way to save them. Is it meant to be black and grey to cover to colors. How does the replacement headbands feel compared to the originals if not ripped ? It’s like if not broke why fix it?
This is awesome. Do you know when the headband will be available on the AHG website in the UK? I only see the old version with the bumps on the clips. Thanks!
My Bose 35 II has head phone that won't click or stop it just slides off. I use paper tape to hold it only the other ear still clicks and stops. How can I fix the loose side so that it clicks & stops. Thank You ku for any help on this.

👍😁
Great solution for a problem that shouldn't be there in the first place
Is there a way to replace the entire headband frame? Mine got... mangled, but I found the part, just not sure if it's possible.
@@allthefreakypeople do you mean the whole metal frame?
