I have a 55” E9 thinking of upgrading to G4 once it’s out. How hard is it wiring devices to tv when wall mounted? Looks difficult with included bracket
LG is fantastic. Found a steal locally of a 77 G2 at $2400. This is our family's first new living room TV set in 14 years. What a difference OLED makes.
I already have a 77" LG G1(my first ever oled) and am very happy with it. As much as I would love to upgrade to a G3 for the increased brightness, realistically I will probably wait until they upgrade their color's more for better color representation.
I also have the C1 dont think its worth spending thousands upgrading for a slightly better picture. unless youre a millionare with cash to burn then go ahead lol
You're viewing the colors through a camera, so that's one point it's going to shift, and two, its brightness makes the colors look washed out. G3 is so accurate out of the box that it finally can compete with Sony...
Have decided to upgrade this year actually, was blown by the stunning performance of what LG have done this year. I still have the LGC9 55inch, around that time I was amazed and proud of even being able to own such technology and witness how amazing tv can get with OLED. Now, even more happier to see this brand new tv with OLED evo MLA on it. Went for 77inch this time around. very excited.
Sticking with the C9 a bit longer. I refuse to keep upgrading every other year on TV'S. I've had 3 OLEDS already, B6, B7 and C9. Sold the 6 but still have the other 2.
I feel the sweet spot for the majority of people looking for an OLED is the C2….not the latest but still has some fantastic features compared to the C1 or G1.

The picture is stunning, and sometimes I think we get a little bit lost in always wanting the latest and the best, once the tv is in your home and you can’t compare it to another one next it, you don’t think about the new model being slightly better 🙂

I plan buying this on black friday, but i'm still split between this and Samsung S95c. Leaning towards the LG, as my previous 3 tv's have been LG OLED's :D
I went from the LG C9 to Samsung S90c and I regret it. Stick with LG the colours are more realistic and accurate. Plus the magic remote on Lg is the best

It would be awesome if tv companies focus on bringing costs of these tv's down as well as moving new tech in the next 3-5 years. Yes, new stuff is exciting, but with enough effort, the general public would be more able to afford something like this. Plus, I think companies like LG and Samsung would find that there's alot of money to be made from us the middle class.
tvs generally are much cheaper these days and even oled tech is relatively affordable. you can pick up a 55 inch B2 on sale for like 900 bucks, its a great tv. microleds are supposed to be the future of tvs but who knows when that will be available for cheap. Heard its ridiculously expensive. Im guessing early 2030s
Yeah because you will roll your TV up and put it in your pocket right... What a gimmick, it might have a use case but until then let's improve image quality shall we? We don't even the full range of many of the color spaces we have now, and panels aren't even 12 bit yet.
I am rocking a 50” Pioneer plasma, 720p, in our finished attic. It’s not the newest tv, but it’s the main one with the entertainment system. This may just finally be the tv to replace it. Maybe. Paired with a nice Nakamichi dragon….👍🤪🇨🇦🏳️🌈
I've got a 65in CX and 55in G1. The CX is showing signs of burn in but I have geek squad protection from BestBuy which covers burn in. I was hoping they were going to exchange the TV but it's more cost effective for them to just replace the panel with a new one. It'll fix the issue but I did get my hopes up for an upgrade and I was looking at paying some extra to go all the way up to the 77in G3.
Yeah that’s what I heard you just get a panel swap not really another tv. I bought an open box and it was 2200 hours used. I think I might just return for the G3
@@joeldiramon8538 yeah they explained that if the repair costs more than 85% of the value then they will exchange it instead of repair (swap panels) or if they don't have the panel available they would also exchange it. But they did have it available and I guess swapping panels was less than 85% of the value of the TV.
@@mitch20003 yeah I think that's what they do but only if it crosses that 85% threshold. Or at least that's what it seemed like based on what the Geek squad guy told me.
@@nathangood3745 Sometimes I wonder if all the panels are coded all the way to C level and just unlocked according to what you get repaired. I had my CX panel replaced in year one and Gsquad told me they always have panels. Always buy the 5 year Best Buy warranty they actually honor it.

tvs generally are much cheaper these days and even oled tech is relatively affordable. you can pick up a 55 inch B2 on sale for like 900 bucks, its a great tv. microleds are supposed to be the future of tvs but who knows when that will be available for cheap. Heard its ridiculously expensive. Im guessing early 2030s
Man, nice overview.
I have the G2 in 65, and I wanna upgrade to the G3, but it is still very expensive 😢
Keep up the good work 👏

I like it, where I can buy this through online site???
I'm just surprised that rollable O-Leds haven't become more of a thing. I was really hyped about the potential when it "released" a few years ago.
Yeah i thought that could've gone somewhere
It's so obvious why it's not becoming a thing, the price ...
Yeah because you will roll your TV up and put it in your pocket right... What a gimmick, it might have a use case but until then let's improve image quality shall we? We don't even the full range of many of the color spaces we have now, and panels aren't even 12 bit yet.
밝기가 엄청나게 발전한듯
G3부터 Oled tv의 새로운 시작이라 보면 될듯
Hello Mr Tech Chap, I’ve just ordered this tv, What sound bar should I buy to go with it please?
LG GX is the best oled tv ever, amazing for gaming too
Man I wish I was rich.... One day
Man that lense stuff is insane, but also it should reduce burn in!
what entertainment console did you buy? Looks nice.
What lighting are you using behind your TV? And does it stay the colour you set it when you turn the telly back on?
I am rocking a 50” Pioneer plasma, 720p, in our finished attic. It’s not the newest tv, but it’s the main one with the entertainment system. This may just finally be the tv to replace it. Maybe. Paired with a nice Nakamichi dragon….👍🤪🇨🇦🏳️🌈
What is the MLA tech and why not on the 83”. Do you suggest not buying an 83”?
For what I paid for the GX if it ain’t broke I ain’t replacing it.
What’s the minimum offset from the cabinet for the downward firing speakers?
How is the latency mode? Respond to less of 10ms, but exactly how much it is?
Managed to get a G2 55Inch for £999 couple weeks ago, couldn't justify the price increase for the G3
Ooh yeah that's a great deal!
Is the G3 bright enough for a bright room?
It's strange that LG don't advertise micro lens array technology anywhere on their product description and specs sheet.
But they did have it available and I guess swapping panels was less than 85% of the value of the TV.
cant they just give you store credit for the tv? and you pay the difference? at least thats what I heard
Sony 900f currently, debating between the c3 or g3. Think size will dictate which one I get
