Alejandro Gonzalez dude I was thinking the same thing about the whole iPhone X thing! As far as trading really look into it. I worked at BMW for 4 years and I first bought my E92 M3 6MT but due to some complications I can’t drive a stick shift anymore so I saw it as a opportunity to upgrade using my employee discount. I took home a brand new 2017 for a weekend and I honestly didn’t like it as much. So I decided to just buy another E92(without employee discount) and just really build my own e92. That might not be for you, maybe you’ll like the F80 more but just really look into it before you jump
Into and possibly regret it. A friend of mine has a E46 with less than 20k on it and he lives that car and leased a F80 and he said the same thing I said, it’s good for a lease but you get rid of it as soon as your lease is up. It’s just not special enough to keep. Just to drive. But again, just an opinion. From one e92 loving owner to another. Would love to hear what you decide to do though.
Define Ivan I've owned a 2009 e92 M3 and now own a 2016 f80 M3 Dct and I love everything about the F80. The e92 has a better sound and a little better steering feel but that's where it ends. The f80 m3 does everything better. Faster, quicker, and lighter with a better ride IMO, and looks more up to date due to the e92 platform looking out dated. Did I mention better technologically. The f80 M3 is also a better and cheaper platform to upgrade due to being turbocharged. A tune and a downpipe and your at 600hp and 650ft tq for far less than what it takes to achieve that in a e92. Supercharge an e92 and it's almost the price of a second car and it still wont have the torque of the f80. Granted it was a different feel than the e92 which I didnt appreciate initially but after driving the car for a couple of weeks I understood what the f80 was all about. The f80 is not trying to be a e92, its setting it's own legacy down a different road.
Now that's what I call a cool review... the car is awesome, the best sedan ever. Hoping the 100k soon ! You deserve it ! Greetings from France ;)

I will say it's a great time to be a car guy companys pushing out the best possible product they can with as much hp they can put under the hood to meet customer demands and It seems to be the year of the sports sedan which is awesome. Owned an m3 and m5 and a couple corvettes over the years. Last 2 years though I've daily driven a c63 amg sedan with some tweaks😉. So I've had plenty of outside experience. For this point and time and m current needs being what they are the c63 is what ill be driving for a while. Future though...who knows so many awesome options. Honeslty, I wouldn't even compare cars like the c63 and m3, the overall goal of each car and personality is so different. I think they are 2 very different realms. Each with a different idea of perfection. Best sports sedan? It's the one that fits you the best. Not going to pretend to know what is best for someone else.

BRO you definitely shot this one to edit. Captured my attention right from the beginning. The minimal scripting made it feel very well thought out and put together even though you probably only had the car for a few hours.
Also BMWs use Google maps for their navigation which is a big deal in terms of automotive but not as big of a deal with the popularity of Apple car play/android auto which are AWESOME.

M8 that car would look sweet with a set of carbon tips, you possibly know about them, if not search "alibaba carbon tips F80" and you can get x4 M Performance Exhaust tips shipped from China for like $250... I just got some for my F83 CP and they're absolutely magnificent, properly finishes the back end off with the CF diffuser! If you're on Bimmerpost there's a thread on there talking about sizes etc called "Carbon Fiber Exhaust Tips" I can't put a link in here else the comment gets auto-blocked. Sweet car though m8.

Club Bmw Amg - You aren't comparing apples to apples. Yes, perhaps an RS7 has 600 hp and AWD. But that's not Audi's direct competitor to the current M3 Comp. It's probably the S or RS4 (do they even make an RS4 anymore?) Maybe the S3? I dunno but you're talking about a huge jump in price for something that is comparable to an M5/M6. Around the ring, the M3 rapes those Audi's in the same catagory. And let me tell you, 450 hp and over 400 ft lbs of torque in my F80 Comp is pretty damn fast!

I own a 2015 M3. To be quite honest I drove my friends 2017 competition package with the 444hp but didn’t feel much of a difference from my model which has a base 425hp. I did not go with blue instead a metallic grey which is a lot smoother and blends well with carbon fiber additions if that’s your flavor. Overall very impressed with the overall performance and drivability. It always gets attention but not to outrageous and the twin turbo and the broad torque range I barely feel any lag. Dinan already offers multiple stage kits to push the limit to well over 500hp but to be honest stock 425 is more than enough for me.
Joe, seriously. Your videos are soooooooooo dope, and if you were able to make them happen on a daily or every-other-day schedule, your channel would skyrocket! From the cinematography... to the music... to the actual content, you have a serious talent for this... Keep it up!

I never commented on this video, but picture proof. This video made me buy that exact car. 2018 Yas marina blue comp package new back in summer 2018 from herb chambers bmw Boston. I watched the video the night before and while drinking in the middle of my Tuesday off went car shopping and the 3rd dealer had it and made the deal. Got rid of it in 2021 and still look back on it as my favorite. I want the new one in man of isles green, but finances are just not there to do it with my priorities. Great work Joe, wanted you to know you inspired a kid who forgot to come back and say thanks 👍🏽

haha i'll say right now that i would never take an M car over a GT car from Porsche... But i'm man enough to admit the M3 and probably M2 are great cars for what they are!
The BMW M3 Competition Pack makes 444 hp in the US & 450 hp in Europe instead of the mentioned 425 hp, which is the actual output of the regular M3/M4.
I honestly swear this is one of the best review I've watched on UA-cam and this being my favorite car helps too. Awesome review with the bloopers at the end.

If you get it tuned (Using a proper flash tune, not just a piggyback boost controller), the power delivery becomes so much smoother and linear, and the M4 GTS transmission flash makes that transmission 96% as close to PDK, because it becomes so much more aggressive and the clutch clamps harder. If you think that a stock ZCP M3 is the benchmark, wait until you drive a slightly tuned one it's magical. If you ever come to Los Angeles, hmu if you wanna review it

I'd take a Giulia Quadrofoglio over this anyday, any week, any month, any year. (My phone battery died before I finished my comment 😂 lul). I'm not really bothered about the subpar interior I can live with a more plasticy interior for an engaging drive, and with the Ferrari style 'bumpy ride' button, it's seems like it would be quite comfortable, I love the jaw droppingly gorgeous looks and my God does that V6 (that's basically a Ferrari engine, ino it isn't literally one) sound absolutely splendid

Sit in one with extended leather (and not in black) it dramatically changes the interior.
CBZ and one that has an M performance steering wheel with the carbon and alcantara and shift lights, that makes a big difference

Great video man! The editing skills were on point and the content was extremely detailed and thorough. I feel that with BMW, they're not trying to come up with the latest and greatest interiors for their cars. I feel that they are all about driving dynamics and the emotions that conjure up inside of you when you're driving the vehicle. It could use some extra cosmetic changes to differentiate it from a BMW 3 Series with the M-Sport package but I'm just knit-picking. It would be nice some heat extractors on the hood a more pronounced decklid spoiler, and graphics to make it unique and recognizable on the road!
BMW has so much great stuff. The fastest 4 door the new BMW M5 competition. The M3 competition the benchmark in small saloons, the M2 the benchmark in little cars too throw around and the 850i the perfect GT.

I also have a YMB 2018 M3 - but I said 'no' to the comp pack. It's more than enough fun, and the tires are cheaper and the ride is nicer. But had to go for a 6spd.
