Along with John Rogers these beautifully shot and narrated films deserve to be kept somewhere for posterity as this is the real voice of cool accessible and beautiful London .. one of life’s real pleasures …thank you so much
Please don't ever stop making these videos, I've enjoyed them for years but have recently had to leave London as I can no longer afford to live there. I love seeing and learning more of the place I now think of as home.
So happy to see this pop up in my feed today. And of course, another great vid (with a great soundtrack) as usual! I can't wait to be able to come back to London!!
Absolutely superb as always. Man o man I really missed it when you made a video once a month. Love how you always shoot your angles to tell your story. I think one of the key elements you use so effectively is movement, Whether it's a canal boat, a dog or the wind blowing though some flags, you always keep your story moving. Great job as always and love the new soundtrack. Tell Yeth Thar he's a master, heehee.
I just came across your video and enjoyed it very much, but it did rather concentrate on the new development behind the stations. It would have been nice if you could have added a chapter about the old community of King's Cross to the east of KX station where people actually live. Not as colourful I guess.
Hey Dewyne I was getting worried. Where have you been? I'm expecting a run of your vids now. Great stuff yet again mate. Did the walk from Kings Cross along the canal to Camden market just a couple of weeks ago. Took Some northern friends who have never been to London before. Did the tour guide thing. They loved it. Great Vid and music yet again Dewyne.
Welcoming you bk with open arms. Remember Kings X in its hay day. Seeing the prostitutes on the streets, feeling unsafe during the night. Seeing the transformations slowly but surely is amazing. Thank you for the upload. Bless.
Wow not a single mention of the British Libarary (BL), which was there a decade before the yank companies you mentionmand & kicked off all of this developement. BTW this area is called "The Knowledge Quarter" by the govenment and the BL is slap bang in the middle of it.
The British Library is in the district of Somers Town, not Kings Cross. Watch his Somers Town episode instead. Methinks you should get your facts straight!
Best channel on UA-cam. Does every area justice and the music fits perfectly.
You could do one of these for every day of the week and I wouldn't get tired. Thanks so much 🥳
If only!!! thanks for the appreciation :)

Top quality. Do you think you will ever repeat districts to show how much they've changed over the years?
We missed you!
OMG, you’ve actually done a video of an area north of the river!!!! 😮😮😮😮😮
