I legit bought coursea from google to take cert classes to keep information fresh n to relearn the most important parts before I started job hunting lol

I ignored it, but now I'm taking a serious look at it. I also was forced to switch my major from IT to BA. a big planner, organizer and innovator who likes finance.

I've been a general education teacher since 2013. For the past year, I've been itching to make a change in my career. I wanted to make a switch that was practical. For example, I'm not trying to be a cardiovascular surgeon. I looked into what transferrable skills I could take with me. This is SOOOO helpful! I'm currently trying to make a career shift into PM and I love being able to hear it directly from someone who is doing it already and being REAL with us about the realities of PM. I actually start a new position next week managing cases for an attorney so while it isn't major PM it's a small step towards that. I'm currently doing online certifications and I hope to get my foot through the door some time next year. This career could be life changing for me and I'm betting on it.

Ngl it is difficult to get your leg in project management as it’s such a highly demanded role these days. So apply long and wide. I don’t have anything specifically you can apply to. But if you’re a recent grad Defo target grad roles

@@pitolinmotion Thank you so very much I woke up early this morning to re-watch the steps again this morning is 7:06am where I am in Canada, I really want to do well in this role to effectively serve my clients, and also help my boss and her organization. I never went to university for project manager when she said to me on Thursday last week that I am the project manager for the organization I was shocked, I have to teach myself watching youtube videos and your video looked like a very simple video that will be easy to understand.

Im entering to project management with no experience, hence this info help me a lot and kept me from quiting. one of the challenges i have the most is when i need to calculate savings based in people and time. do you have any advice about this?
Heyy! Happy this content is helping you keep going. And be encouraged! It is a difficult path to get into but will a bit of patience and diligence, you can break into project management. When you say calculate savings based on people , what do you mean?. I don’t think I’ve done anything like that before. I am recording a beginners guide on project finances and plans today though, so that will be out soon !
