Thanks for charing the story about your cardigan, knit by your mother. Best wishes for you and your family.
Thanks so much, Juliane.
I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. My sincerest condolences to you and your family. Knitting and spinning can be such a comfort when we are stressed. I know it helps me. Having the rainbow sweater your mom knit is so special. The yarns you have spun up are beautiful, I look forward to seeing the rest of the spun yarn and the shawl. Those colors are wonderful. I am now the only person who has not knitted a ranunculus. 😁
Thanks so much for your kind words, Carin. I will let you know if it was worth jumping on the ranunculus train when I’m done with the sweater. I guess I succumbed to the FOMO!
Condolences to you and your family.
Thank you so much, Aggie.
I am so sorry to learn of your loss of your mother I know that is a tremendous loss. Thank you for sharing the sweater she knit for you as a young girl. I never visited Woolgathers when I lived in the DC area in the mid-80s. I understand that was quite the shop. I agree, knitting through tragedy and hardship, can be so helpful in so many ways.
Thanks so much for your kind words, Kathleen.
Sending loving kindness. Losing your Mom is different for everyone, please be gentle with yourself.
Thank you so much for your kind words.
