Hi everyone! Whew, it’s been 6 month already since I posted this video! My methods already have changed so much! For a MUCH shorter routine please check out my “Updated Routine” videos! Thanks for watching! ♥️
Your Afro hair is absolutely stunning! It’s so vibrant, healthy, and full of life. You wear it with such confidence, and it’s truly inspiring to see. Keep shining! ❤️
Hi! After I hop out the shower it takes me 25 - 60 minutes to style and 30 - 60 minutes to dry. It really depends on how much time I feel like spending defining the curls and/or drying them. Have you ever tried a wash-n-go?
Hahaha! Yes I’ve been doing wash-and-gos for a year now and oh my goodness, it paid off. I feel so confident about them now. The methods and types of products you use really make all the difference. I would love to do more people’s hair or even coach some to get started! You might even see a video like that in the near future 😉
Yes I add lots of water and mix until it’s the consistency that I like (gel can take a lot of water and maintain a thick consistency). Water helps prevent that tacky, sticky feeling to your curls. Let me know how it goes!
@@Quezzn not a bother at all! I was thinking of posting a “My Current Routine” short to provide a sort of update and to celebrate 100 subscribers! BUT, in answer to your question, I wear my hair like this 99% of the time. I like a clean scalp so I wash my hair every 3 days. It can last much longer, the longest I’ve kept it was 7 days and if not for my scalp I could’ve kept it longer (Xtreme Wetline gel has a great hold!)
Great question! Ever since I’ve learned how to correctly finger-detangle, I lose minimal hair, and washing frequently helps cut down detangling time. I find this helps me retain as much hair as I can. I think I generally have slow-growing hair though. I just cut it so I’ll see how fast it grows.
Hi! No heat protectant. I’ll stay under it anywhere from 20 minutes to over an hour. The hood of mine doesn’t cover my hair completely so I’m constantly having to shift around if I want it 100% dry. But! I’m starting to use my hand-held dryer more and I’m noticing that I can cut down on the time I spend under the dryer. Also, sometimes I just let it air dry.
I’m happy I helped! Hand-held dryers help my hair dry faster and make it softer to the touch. Hooded dryers give my hair definition and makes it stiffer, less prone to frizz.

Love this ,going to start mixing the mousse and gel 🥰
Let me know how it goes!
In my latest YT Short I commented a guideline you can use for knowing how much of each product to mix.
Never thought to mix the mousse and gel together before applying. Great idea! Do you add water to this mixture? Will try with my next wash and go.

@ChineloMariano check out Anthony Dickey's wash n go.
Seems faster than what you're doing.
Your wash n go came out really good.
Thanks! Do you mean that you don’t think I should separate and smooth in the product, but just apply it and shake?
Sorry to bother again, but do you have yiur hair this way most of the time? And how long does it last before you redo the routine?

Do you find it hard to retain length with the amount of wash and gos you do?
