She survived WW2 and was running away from bombs, sleeping in bomb shelters when she was just a few years old. She lost everything at home and tried to rebuild a new life with the family left. She learnt a new language and had an arranged marriage to Vietnam. Her Husband died from an unknown disease while being heavily pregnant. All money was exhausted to try and heal her husband at the time. He passed and left her with 3 step kids and 3 of her own to look after. I took care of my elderly mom for the last 11 years. In March, she passed away at the age of 92. Her sage advice to me was always to know that everybody is different. Accept them for who they are and just go on with your own life. She accepted fate as it came. She was very strong. Very Wu Wi in her own way although she never heard of the term or idea.
