Live for tomorrow, not just for the distant future. Think about what you want to do the next day, even if it's something small, and make it happen. Don't constantly worry about having to achieve certain things within a strict timeline.
Your present shapes your future. While planning is important, don't become obsessed with it. Appreciate what you have now and what you can do today.
Lastly, and most importantly, take some time for yourself. Go for a walk and relax.
My friend who studies Zen Buddhism said it best, "it's easy to be peaceful and serene when you are in that kind of environment and have nothing to worry about. The real test is can you remain centered in a chaotic environment?" These places that sell a "retreat" are just making money off of people who are clueless and have the money to spend.
"Remained centered in a chaotic word" yes the tree can grow on concrete but it will never be as beautiful as a forest tree.
The plant that grows with no wind is broken by the smallest wind.
A life with zero stress can be a boring life. The right amount of stress moves us forward. The best things I achieved in life came with some level of stress.
Obviously they speak of distress not eustress... No one is saying you should reduce eustress. People are suffering because of overflow distress.
I agree with you . However modern society is full of stress. I want to reduce unnecessary stress.
I was distressed for many years. But after listening to Acharya Prasant, I am now stress free.

If you don't have to struggle to work 8+ hours to pay the bills for a living, then it's very easy to not feel stress.
Exactly.
🤗So let’s create that life style for ourselves, it is a choice✌️
@@nancysmith3400i mean its not 100% a choice but we do have agency, yes ❤
Has almost nothing to do with it
@@nancysmith3400I hope these type of comments exist more often, I mean the main comment is a definitely logic, but we are agree that, for someone to typing such a sentence like this, requires enough stress, desperate and discouragement, and for optimistic person, he knows exactly the fact, but he doesn't have a courage to said something like this, that is why for me, this is definitely logic and nobody could argue with, but it also definitely pathetic to have this as a reminder.
If ashram is calling you fine. But you can live a very satisfied/high quality life by addressing stress going back to the basics - sleep well, eat wholesome food (prepare it yourself if you can, if you can grow it also, even better), move outdoors on a daily basis, socialise over sports and volunteering, find a meaningful job, meditate, breathe, surround yourself with inspiring and supportive people, read (instead of watching), avoid media, give back. It's so simple (maybe too simple for some:)).
I am female, 72 a nurse of 50 years. I do not take any medicine, no smoking maybe consume alcoholic beverages x1 or x2 a month or none. I live on my own and have not had any degree of stress in over 25 years. I take care of my own property 3 acres, eat simple clean food. (Avoid processed foods) do my own cooking. I cannot for the life of me understand why people would rather take medicine for their stress etc when they choose to NOT work on their own well being. Self control self improvement is where I believe it starts.

My wife discovered you a while back and finally shared a video with me. Thank you so much for helping us heal and get on the road in our RV. We are on our way from Texas to Utah to take care of my mother. My father passed away in 2022 and they were about to celebrate their 48th anniversary. His celebration of life was like a family reunion and the most beautiful experience our family has had together. The sick care system here in the United States has really taken a toll on my wife and I. We have awoken and are now taking control of our lives and going the natural route. I am thankful for your wisdom and courage to go out and find the tools that will allow us to heal naturally. Thank you brother, I'm looking forward to meeting you. 👁️
Also please let me know if it's okay for me to take a short clip and make a short on my channel. I am on a mission to help people find the best content creators on UA-cam. Stay blessed! 🙏
True. NO ONE has taught me how to de stress.
Interesting message and video
Thanks for accepting my request and coming to India❤
Quoting Ralph Waldo Emerson:

Best way to destress!!
I agree with you suggestion 😊😊😊

I absolutely love this video. Thank you for sharing... I am already looking more into this technique to try and apply this practice to my life. I'm taking steps forward to move out of the city, and become more one with nature, where I have always felt more calm and grounded. I love your channel, keep spreading the message, good vibes, and great work. Wonderful 👍
A lot of stress is self imposed by trying to keep up with other people/friends, impressing others, wearing designer clothes, leasing fancy cars, buying a house you can't afford, etc. & struggle to pay bills. I see parents brag about what college their kid is going to. If you have wealth, then great, do whatever you want. But if you are average financially, you can't afford going out to eat all the time, or go on vacations you cannot afford. Try to live the best life you can simply & learn these excess things will not bring u more happiness.
Yup...living a simple life much less taxing. Modest home, cars, no designer crap, no extravagant vacations, kids at state schools....all good. Lot of exercise and eat healthy.
That guru probably has 20 wives and 10 side pieces looking after all his needs plus millions of people donating towards his lifestyle. I'd be stress free too..

I sometimes feel like I’m suffocating. I’m menopausal, had surgery a year ago that has not gone well and have pain, no partner or children and unemployed. What makes me feel less stressed is a quiet day at home or a relaxing walk in nature.
Hey Will, I have to tell you. I’m not sure I’ll be able to explain the positive effect that this video has had on me. I fell out of my morning meditation practice 6 months ago (I had an 8 month streak going) and these last 6 months have been so insanely hard. I’ve battled old addictions and gone into old coping methods. This video made me realize why it’s been so hard. I will be back on the wagon after this. Thank you so much.
Hair fall , if male pattern baldness, stress is not to blame. Please take medical advice from certified doctors.
So good man! As a breathwork facilitator it is amazing/inspiring to see this type of content. Breaking ancient wisdom / knowledge down to the masses in such a fun and digestible way. Keep up the great work! And don't forget to breath 😜
Completly true! S.K.Y Changed my life for the better and im practicing every morning for 6 months and im never stopping again. It is truly magical, once you have done it for some time (30-40 days) I used to be stressed all day every day and had all sorts of addictions to manage my stress and anxiety. Everybody should learn and try this.
TY for posting this information.
My life with $47 best tip for me my communtiy and the can now give back to locals in my life church God bless America.
On a regular life, city living, you will be stressed if you choose to be. You can be less stressed if you are true to yourself and avoid trying to be or living like others. Don't follow the script that society is selling to you; write your own. Eutress is a good thing for you; chronic stress is the one you need to watch for. I don't believe in this kind of places because real life is outside of the ashram; that's the real test.
One day at a time. If we are in the past, we can be depressed, be in the future, we can be anxious. Stay in the day the Creator gave us. And only do what you can in each day.❤ Love to All
I can´t believe that you were in my hometown ! huge fan of your channel ❤ ! I have been practicing Sudarshan kriya myself for sometime now & i can tell it has immense affect on my stress & mood. I also journal everyday & this brings clarity & reduces my stress.
IG recommended your page today. Nice build.
Gratitude practice daily 😊
Please interview older people with mental illnesses and ask them their regrets, what helped, what didn't. It would be interesting because so many people now have mental illnesses and the system fails so many.
I'm proud of the mission of this channel .
🤗Set your intention to de-stress your life if that is what you choose.
There are ways to do it, some people have found the way that works for them.
You don’t have to buy into the chaos of the fast paced, fear based life style that is driving people to hurt themselves.
Give peace a chance✌️🤗
I am very happy ❤
Nice to meet you my friend ❤

The world continues to pressure us all to do more, be more... there most definitely needs to be more emphasis on slowing it down. :)
Two dogs are standing in the street, suddenly a car passes by (let's say a red one), one dog starts running madly after the car while the other dog watches the first one, walks slowly to the nearest tree and urinates on it.
I used to be the dog that ran madly after the car, today I'm the dog that pees on the tree nearby.
The car is just a car, it is yours free choice whether to run after it or not.
Nice, I want to experience an Ashram. There's one in my country but I'd have to travel. Hopefully I have the financial means to eventually.

Hello, nice to see you in our capital city Karnataka-India.
There is not only this place which is not stressed out, what about Ajahns Brahms talk "Success without stress"
This looks like it costs quite a bit. Could be stressful to work to earn that much money to go.
Yeah fucking right. No stress. 🤪
did I hear that correctly from a pulse reading- the woman said you were fat...that was harsh.
Heyy, Are you still in Bangalore India!!!? I would love to meet you in person. I'm a big fan of your content!
I have 3 steps that help me have clarity, energy and ease through the day. In this order.
- Cold shower
- Wim Hof breathwork
- 10 min Meditation.
@user-mu4lf3dh4p negative thoughts are gonna come up, whether you want them to or not. The key to meditation is noticing when one comes, let it pass, and focus back to your breathing. Concentrate how your chest expands when you breath in, and how it retracts when you breath out. And if another thoughts comes up, repeat.
Nice business they have in India. I have seen this movie before. It ends in disaster...
are you at india brother, please come to Bengaluru and have a meet-up gathering 😅

Well these people obviously don’t live in reality. The world is stressful. Animals have been dealing with it for millions of years in their environment. We are the exact same. Life is stressful
Correction- Industrialized world(e.g. materialism, egocentric social media, workaholic lifestyle) is very stressful.
@@daw7773 Correction- All walks of life deal with stress, icluding third world countries. People in an industrilaized world just don't know how to manage it because they've lost all connection to humanity and nature. People who are in tune with nature/human nature function very well in the industrialized world. It's a matter of what each person values and set out to make that a priority. It's all up to the individual. It's easy to blame it on external things, but really, you are the one in full control of what you chose to participate in.
@@user-yb7zz9cc9s Correction- The industrialized(e.g. materialism) world causes severe stressors that lead to high suicide(e.g. depression) and anxiety rates(e.g. Japan, US).
Around the 3:00 mark. In all respect, that doesn't seem like medicine

Good things here, BUT, it is definitely bogus in some ways. It's much like astrology and reading palms to diagnose and evaluate a person. That's crazy. The advice and practices are common sense. Good health habits, exercise, friends, and some type of spirituality - meditation, prayer, nature.
When there is a Guru around, my caution goes up.
PLEASE STOP THE BACKROUND MUSIC, I CANNOT LISTEN TO THE CONVERSATIONS.
They don’t have regular folks lives. It looks like they live on vacation… I wouldn’t have stress either.

Yeah they are unemployed third world people. And if the husband is a good earner, housewives carry iPhone, drives a good car to some kind of mystic leader, spills the husband's hard earned money in these mystic activities, learns a few yoga, and gives lecture of wisdom to the people. Art of living is a huge business. They make billions and Ravi Shankar is a billionaire. He has a great passion about cars. He rapes his female disciples and those who tries to raise voice gets killed. His net worth is in millions of US dollars. This UA-cam guy proves a popular saying, "A dead Indian can make a fool out of a living American." He should spend more time in India and visit more places. You sit in a bus station and have a conversation with a nice and kind looking Indian and minutes later when you try to buy your bus ticket, you'll know that you lost your wallet a while ago. That's my own experience with India.
