I'm pretty sure you're supposed to eat the veggies as he cooks the other food so you don't have to wait to eat all of it at once. It's like an appetiser to eat while you watch him make the eggs and so on.

I think some of the green leaves he added were actually rau ram (Persicaria odorata, aka Vietnamese coriander, hot mint, daun laksa, daun kakok, daun kesum, laksa leaf). It's delicious.

Really like the video but he cooks stuff in all the wrong order. Eggs should have been last they will be cold and rubbery by the time that chicken is cooked. Chicken should have been cooked then everything else since all that other stuff barely took any time at all

I love all the people on here screaming "cross contamination!" but yet probably eat out. Do you really think the guy at any run of the mill fast food place getting minimum wage is trying really hard not to cross contaminate your food? If you saw what went on in most of the kitchens, you'd never eat out again.
In fact we dont usually eat this at the nightmarket by Taiwanese
I've worked in restaurants and even in a deli and I can confirm this. Every place is guilty of cross contamination.
