no freaking way!!!! I was looking for a youtube video on designing a background type thing for making youtube videos. the one I found was peter mckinnons you guys are freaking awesome!
Thank you for this great look into the design process! I am now committed to revamping a spare bedroom into a videography studio! Going to take a while, but I’m thinking about branding and trying to pull it all together in my head before I begin. Great information. And extremely inspiring!
This is awesome, I’m so impressed with the variety you managed to fit into such a small space! I feel so inspired to redo my office/filming area for more versatility!
This is a really great channel and this is a VERY under-discussed topic, so I'm very excited to see more people talking about this kind of thing. But please, PLEASE when "designing a filming room" keep audio in mind. So many of these rooms are so echoey and reverbery on UA-cam it drives me insane. Don't really care how the room looks if it sounds like the host is in a cave.

You have no idea 💡 how helpful this was. We have been struggling setting up a dedicated UA-cam space in our studio. I really like how it ended up serving different functions as well. Hi! You could start a new season based on the interior make-overs especially for youtubers. Traveling around to change their places could be the side-job which you have no idea that you have already doing. Advising from distance and online is also an option. Some fresh air for the channel based on the solid experience you have built. Have a nice time doing what you love for those you care.

Very awesome! I painted my office in chalkboard paint. It's a nice matte black! I also used some magnetic painted as a primer so it does have a little magnetism too. I'm wanting to get started in UA-cam and I've been looking at couches, myself! Thanks for the inspo to get this going on my end. Now I just need to be filming too. ah.

This is the best - I'd love to hear more on lighting! How do you avoid bad lightbulbs and fixtures that throw my auto white balance into a tizzy when filming casually around the house (not as much actual lights if you're doing a setup)?

This is a great video. I'm thinking of what to do with my youtube space especially that I don't have a designated space except a corner in my living room. The distance from the back wall will give a nice depth of field once I get a camera (Ive struggled to pick one so Ive given myself a year to save and find a solution to my conundrum) this video has given me so much helpful information and what colors I have and how I can use that to work for me. Was wondering what’s the motivation behind the computers being next to natural light / window and the filming corner being executed in the darkest part of the room ?
Just feels like the window could of played a bigger part in this transformation ?
