LOVE THE SETUP.! People must understand that E88's isn't about style or flare even though they are a very beautiful part of motorsport history. They are made to function for racing. If you ever to hit the track one day, you are beyond ready. E88's belong on any car new or older generations, just like putting on a race suit whether you're young or old. It is the wheel that "if you know, you know" If you don't...get to studying. I have 19" SIlver E88's on my F80 with a meaty setup and I love them! They are lightweight and you feel much more planted for handling. Having these wheels is what separates us from the crowd.
I've always wanted a set of BBS E88. The history in motorsport and the automotive industry makes them special. I've had the chance to drive Ron's G80 with the E88 and it was solid. Felt amazing around town. I'm excited to finally mount them on the car.

@TheDailyDriven because of you, I bought a set of the LT5s for my (manual) green G80 in glossy black. Wouldn't you know it, one rim didn't make it through customs at the same time the other three did. The rims are currently in Memphis, but it won't be long now.
There's no need to understand or get it. We all have different likes and preferences. If we all had the same likes and modifications, it'll all be boring.
Their supporting barrels and lips are sourced from Japan. The quality is there and theres been zero issues with my previous setup. When doing a 3 piece setup, it's hard to retain all parts from BBS. Especially if you want the aggressive fitment.
Appreciate you checking out the videos. Although my taste or preference ain't for everyone I respect others' opinions. I'm modifying this car the way I want at the end of the day. If we all liked the same mods, the car scene would be boring lol

deep lips used to be my thing, then deep concave, now deep pockets, but my actual pockets probably aren't deep enough.

too bad AR motorwerks are not using oem BBS lips and inner barrels…they only used after market lips and inner barrels 👎🏼
