Hola! Well, it took me a few days to get to watching this video, but I like to watch them when I have time to relax and really enjoy the tour. It's after dinner and I've had my coffee and lemon cake, so now is a good time to sit back and watch. 😄 I'm a beach lover, and I've lived almost every day of my life near the sea, so you know Gijon is my kind of town. 😀 The Elogio del Horizonte provides such a perfect framing for that beautiful seascape. Honestly, I could sit on that grass and just stare out to the ocean for hours! It's so calming. I was wondering as you walked around there if that wall with all the archways was built as some type of defensive structure maybe? Roman times? The transition from the 'Santa Catalina' part to the town was well done. 👍 It's so picturesque along the beach there. There's nothing I like better in America than a city or town with a maritime history and tradition, so I really enjoyed this walk. The Pescaderia Municipal was definitely a beautiful building. I 'put on my thinking cap' and thought, I bet that's the town fish market, or seafood market. 😄 Anyway, the building in the plaza mayor with the red and the arches - wow, that is just beautiful. I know I've never even been to Spain, but at this point, I think I can say that this plaza mayor is quintessential Spain. I really loved the crosses and lampposts along the water leading to the San Pedro church. The church is beautiful on the outside, but I was so glad that it was open and we got to take a peek inside too. Even better on the inside, and I think I'm running out of ways to say 'beautiful' because I've already used that word too many times in this comment. 😂 But seriously, I would love to sit in there and just absorb it all, (and say a few prayers too.😇) I couldn't help but notice the 'graffiti problem' later in the walk, but what can you do, it's everywhere in the USA too. At first, I thought the big, glass sculpture was made of candles like you see in church, but then on a closer look, I think it was wine bottles, but I wasn't sure. Anyway, I was thinking it would look awesome if it were candles all lit up at night. On the other hand, if the wine bottles are full, I could grab a few ... no, no, no. Just kidding. 😆 Very enjoyable video. Take care.

It's mostly sold as a non-alcoholic drink that you can buy in any market, especially at our Thanksgiving holiday, which is in about 10 days from now. But we also have 'hard cider' which is the alcohol variety. Sometimes we drink hot apple cider with a dash of cinnamon too. That with a piece of hot apple pie with vanilla ice cream, yum. 😆
