Thank god they finally fixed monk, it feel soooooo clunky to play the new MNK and it almost broke my muscle memory, luckily I decided to put it down and wait for this mini rework.
I love that the Monk rotation is back to the old 2:2:3 form! Honestly, I hadn't fully muscle memory mastered level 100 Monk rotation, but I had practiced it a bit and to me I noticed how optimal play rarely touched the coeurl fury GCDs because of how biased you can be with your opo forms. Coming out of blitzs you choose opo with formless, 2 out of every 3 PBs you want opo-only; fire's reply gives you another formless fist which you choose opo for. Simply put you execute your opener and find yourself not even hitting a 2nd coeurl to spend for a long time. I also agree that because of the number of fury stacks that had existed so far, the movement in Monk felt gone. It was too long of a time I didn't "need" to be anywhere and actually made it less active and more annoying for me to remember.
God I hope DRK gets something soon, there is currently zero reasons to play it, if its gonna be a fragile tank, fine, but there's NO REASON for it not to be the highest dps tank Either give me damage, or more utility/sustain then the tanks that do more damage than it. Until then, Hello WAR, since SQE loves you so much, I guess ill jump on the WAR train
Two of the weakest tanks not buffed, but Warrior is buffed. Huh? Monk reworked again, the meme demands it. Astro, the best healer, is buffed. Huh? Okay.
Tanks balance is the way it is now solely because of gear. Even a bit of sks is a rather big detriment to pld's damage. Kinda true for drk as well. Gunbreaker is fine being fast, i'd say even better than slow gnb at times. Warrior is whatever really. It is fine at 2.47.
Wtf is even going on anymore lol. War buffed, mnk reworked again... BLM umbral soul at lvl 35 instead of a considerable buff 😂😂😂😂😂 Yes I understand further changes are coming with the savage patch, but it's a well known issue that lvl 100 BLM is piss poor. Who the fuck cares about levelling anyways, you only need to cast a B1 after B3 if you want to replenish mp, it's a non issue unlike the DMG output at lvl 100. Besides I'm still pissed off about paradox being a fire cast only.
Black Mage in UCOB and UWU felt positively dreadful because you had no way to refill mana between phases, or during forced downtime (which there is a lot of) Very glad to see this change, though it is a fix to an issue created by Dawntrail.
@@Calthrasful yes and I did mention myself in my post. Still it's dumb to see other classes being buffed on 7.01 that didn't need it (war and ast) and jobs that will have to wait 7.05 for some reasons. They could've easily implemented the buffs with this patch, see how it goes and then EVENTUALLY make further adjustments come 7.05.

Unbuffed dragon kick no longer grants an orb. So you'll still be spamming it during burst, just not outside of it.

Warrior buff is meant for adjustment to their timer. You could have 2 primal rend for 2 min burst window with old timer.

Didn't you read the lodestone post? BLM buffs comes with 7.05.

@@HeroGuy3 that's cool, I wasn't thinking about old ultimates to be fair. I still think buffing lvl 100 was a much more needed priority but hey.
