Cream went wrong where The Doors split the credits 4 ways they should have done it too. Ginger suggested it but Jack and Eric both said no. Don't know why?
@@dukeford8893 I'm on Ginger's side on this one, Jack and Pete had the most money earned from Cream couse they were writing most of the stuff so what's their excuse to try to cut that in 3 or 4 and Eric also said no but to me it could be even more likely Eric saying yes couse he's just a guitar player in the beginning so i don't get why he said no but for Jack saying no there's clear logic why he would do so
No loss Ginger. It is one of the most un-Cream like songs. Along with Anyone For Tennis. They aren't going to go down in musical history. Cream yes, Wrapping Paper ...NO!
It's hard to believe Ginger didnt know about songwriting compensation rules and procedures. If you didnt write the final lyrics or melody, you are just contributing to the arrangement, which doesnt get royalties. Sounds like a real victim's mindset to me to hold on to this "story" of being denied royalties unjustly for all these years.

Jack, I think, was the main objector to splitting songwriting credits three ways, and you can't blame him.

No, those are definitely very cream. They are jazz based
I got to see him live before he died. He seemed kinda grumpy then to.
