I saw their reunion at MSG in 2005. Quite nice to see them. Jack was not feeling great but sounded quite good. All in all a treasured memory.

Good so hear! I grew up when so many people admired Eric. He’s quite hated now for his opinions. I personally don’t care, he’s a great musician and performer.

Charlie Watts did swing when drumming. I even swing when I play my own drums to.

Watts was the luckiest drummer in history. He was a very mediocre (at best) drummer that didn’t have the chops to play in a band that needed a drummer that had a major role. I’ve not once ever seen or heard him go a drum solo. He was what the Stones needed. A beat keeper that didn’t do fills and stayed way far in the background to Jagger and Richard’s leads.

The two , were & continue to be mates. Both spent time with Alex Korner's Blues Inc. Ginger made music history , by voting Watts out, but," with recommendation ". Leaving an avenue /opportunity open for Charlie to join Brian Jones in a little band called The Rolling Stones.

@@basher5107Baker influenced more rock drummers than anyone. He came at the right time to be the gold standard to the rest of the great rock drummers that followed him. His personality has nothing to do with his percussion prowess.

      Sorry,
He was a pretentious conceited a-hole who was ok behind a kit but
never an influential drummer and Bohnam would have schooled him any day of the week and twice on Sunday

Blind Faith was a failure and lasted all of 6 months.
I saw Ginger Baker’s Airforce at Sunderland Locarno in ‘71.
They were positively the worst band I’ve ever seen.
A collection of 10 or 11 pissed up smack heads each not knowing what the other was doing.
      That lasted about 5 minutes.

That’s what the comment section is for, opinions and I respect yours but Zeppelin was far more important to music than Cream could ever be,they
Along with Peter Grant got bands paid there value rather than ripped off by shoddy promoters and changed the way music was created
There will never be a band of greater influence than Led Zeppelin.✌🏻
